The website is super accessible and it is easy to view the daily visits when we travel. We love the photos of our cat, the time trackers, and messaging options to stay in touch. And your sitters are amazing! They actually stay the full time and seem to care for animals. We previously tried sitters we found on private listings and it's a mixed bag. This one guy we tried would stay under 5 min most days. It was a bad experience and our cat was stressed out so much she actually licked open a wound. Since then we switched to Fetch and won't look back. We will keep using Fetch and would recommend to friends! read more

Awesome. I trusted them with my three cats (babies) for five days, and Ashley was amazing. She actually ended up living in the same building as me, which I didn't love the concept of because if I DID want to write a bad review of her, it would be kind of uncomfortable... but luckily, I don't have to, because she was great. Every day she sent me an email summary of her visit along with photos of the kitties. It was clear that she spent a lot of time each visit playing with the ones that wanted to be played with and giving love to the ones that wanted it. One of our cats, the most sensitive, hid the whole time, and I did have to request a few days in that she actually find him to confirm he was alive... she heeded my request, though, and mentioned where he was hiding and his status in all of her following emails. I definitely recommend, and I'll be using them again for my upcoming nine-day trip in September. read more

From the booking staff to Sherry, my phenomenal cat sitter, I had a great experience with Fetch! They were kind and attentive and they had such a thorough web interface that allowed and encouraged me to enter as much detail as I could about my cats. I hadn't been away from my cat for longer than two nights for the past 2.5 years so to say that I had a lot of anxiety about being away for five nights is an understatement. Rose was so understanding of my hesitance but put me at ease. She was really great with my cat who usually wants nothing to do with strangers. Though I understand a cancellation policy, they were not able to waive a booking for me during a difficult time for me and my family. Administrative (so, this goes for the company at large not just the individual dog walkers) - really great customer service and absolutely fairly priced. Any time I reach out I receive a near-immediate response, even pretty late into the evening (think 9:00 p.m. ET). Easy to cancel, just really great to work with. Karen (dog walker in Vienna, VA) - truly a great person and clearly a "dog person". Our dog has a ferocious bark and doesn't like letting people in the house. But Karen is calm, understanding and completely competant. I don't know other dog walkers but if they hire and retain more people like Karen, that definitely speaks to this great business! read more

Was recommended their service from a friends who has used Fetch before, and met one of the best pet care providers through Fetch. Unfortunately, I found out this company pays their employees 1/3 of the cost they charge and that was very unsettling for me to know. They also are not based in the DMV but dispatch employess from Alabama. Also, their cancellation policy is very strict and they will charge you full price unless you cancel 3 days in advance. I was always okay with leaving my cat with tons of food and water over a long weekend, and having a neighbor check in on her once a day. But since she's been diagnosed with heart disease, I don't feel comfortable imposing the increased responsibility on friends. Enter Pawsitively Posh Pet Care (though I've been using them since they were Home Buddies). They didn't even bat an eye during my initial consultation (they came to my apartment so I could show them where everything was and they could meed the cat) when I explained my cat has heart disease and takes THREE medications exactly every 12 hours apart. And my cat loved the sitter so much that she followed him out into the hallway when he left. I now get very anxious about her health when I leave the cat (yes, I'm totally crazy, but in my defense I wasn't like this before she got sick), and their emails and pics when they visit the cat are very reassuring. I feel much more comfortable leaving her with someone who works with animals frequently, and knows what to do in a medical emergency. I will likely go back to lots of food, water, and visits from a neighbor with my future pets because of the expense. But with a sick cat, I am very grateful for the service and the peace of mind. I've found all the sitters professional and detail-oriented, and they've been able to accommodate all of my visit requests over holidays and weekends. read more

I strongly recommend against using Fetch, especially for longer trips. From the below experience I believe that doing so could endanger your pets' lives. This was my first time using Fetch. I came back from a 4 day trip to find my cats' large water basin completely empty. It is the type of water basin that holds about four bowlfulls of water in it and makes a really loud noise from the filter running without water. I could hear this noise from outside my apartment building. So not only were my cats unable to access water, they were likely terrified of this terrible noise. Cats can die after a few days without water. This Fetch sitter sent me email updates EVERY DAY stating that she "checked the water." Taking care of cats involves literally like two or three tasks. Yet somehow Fetch sent someone to my house who was incapable of seeing when a water dish is empty, and doing something about it, who was also incapable of completing the tasks of a pet sitter and the tasks Fetch was reporting that they were doing, and finally, someone who was apparently incapable of hearing a loud terrible whirring noise that should tip them off. This pet sitter visited my house and I gave her very clear directions about a very simple task -- using a plastic cup to get water from the kitchen sink to pour into the water basin, yet, assuming that she did actually visit my apartment at all, she failed to do one out of three tasks on her checklist for pet care. The owner of Fetch has chosen to comment on my review, by lying and stating that "water was provided in the bowl at each visit," and implying that only during the final visit did the sitter fail to do something. He further attempts to downplay the failure to provide a very basic service on all visits by stating that the primary problem was that the screeching noise was stressful. Let me repeat: Cats can die without water after a few days. If the sitter had put any water in this very large basin for any one of the five days, the basin would not have been COMPLETELY empty upon my return. No water was provided to my cats during any of the visits. No other dishes were used from my kitchen, and according to the cat sitter herself, my cats were hiding in the closets (probably from the noise that my neighbors could hear but the cat sitter in my apartment was mysteriously immune to). So how exactly was water provided to them "at each visit"? Further, when this water fountain/dish gets approximately half empty it begins making noise, so it did not start at or after the final visit. All of these facts are apparent to anyone who has owned one of these very common pet fountain/filters, although apparently all of these facts are a mystery to the employees of Fetch pet sitting service, which will now be giving its employees training on the complex task of pouring water from a plastic cup into a basin. I'm glad that the owner thinks this person was actually at my apartment for a half hour on multiple days, but not sure at how this information is relevant to Fetch's failure to provide basic care (and to lie to me about it). I guess Fetch's argument is just that their sitters lack basic observational skills or deductive reasoning, cannot follow directions, or come sit at clients' apartments for 30 minutes without taking five minutes to complete the 3 basic tasks required to tend to a cat's most basic survival needs? This is a nightmare and I am absolutely horrified at this company. I am further horrified that the owner is apparently choosing to continue to send this person to individuals' homes to care for living animals after she has shown herself to be incapable of GIVING THEM WATER or following clients' basic directions, downplaying the severity of endangering the animals' health of which owners are trusting him with, and then stating that he can do nothing to remedy the situation other than graciously not charge me for services that were not provided. I can only hope that this company sends me back my house keys as promised, and that my elderly cat does not suffer any health conditions as the result of this company's neglect. I'm certainly grateful that I did not trust them with my pets for any longer of a period of time. read more

Our sitters (Nadine and Passanan) have been great with our little ex-feral, and they're even starting to win her trust. Fetch is the most widely available, reliable, and easy to use service I've encountered in the area for cat visits while I'm out of town. They purchased a service I used to use in the past, and it's been a smooth transition for sure. I do wish they had shorter cat visits available - my cat probably doesn't need 30 minutes - but their sitters use the time well and send a note and photos. When the usual sitter hasn't been available they have had a backup. It's great to have folks on call for business trips that come up quickly, and it makes it easier that they have keys and instructions on file. I just send an email when I need them and they come without fail. Kudos to Fetch for making life easy! read more

Veronica was amazing! When she came by to get the key the cats immediately liked her. She sent very detailed texts about the cats while I was gone and also sent photos. It was really nice and made me feel like my cats were in good hands. Also, when I got home I could tell they were still happy and relaxed (they act a little whacky if they don't get enough attention when I'm gone), so I could see that Veronica spent a lot of time with them. Everything was perfect. I would definitely use Fetch again, but unfortunately I'm moving soon. read more

We have been using Pawsitively Post Pet Care for almost a year now and have been nothing but impressed! We started with using them for 30 minute walks during the day but now also use them for the overnight service which is wonderful! It is so nice to be able to leave little Madeline at home when we travel and know she will be so well taken care of. When we used to take her to a kennel she would always come home not quite herself and many times sick, when we get home now she is just so happy. The cost is also reasonable in comparison to what you would pay for an overnight kennel in the area, and the care is so much better. They also send updated of the visits which is really nice. Everything was easy to set up, and I really liked the daily logbook emails with notes and photos. My sitter did a great job - my bunny seemed happy and healthy (and had plenty of food, water, and bedding) when I got home. A reasonable price, too. Everything about my cat sitting experience was top notch, starting with an informative website with pricing, online forms and scheduling options. The office personnel who followed up with me to confirm my needs were polite and professional and the cat sitter (Jacqui) lived only a couple of blocks from me in Georgetown and was very sweet; I felt completely comfortable leaving my older, high maintenance cat in her care. She showed up daily when she was supposed to (love the 2 hour windows), sent me pictures of my cat and gave me an update to let me know how he was doing (not so great...throwing up and protest pooping). This is an update review as Fetch took over Posh pet. I am actually, even possible, happier with Fetch. This is the best pet sitting service I know in DC! I have been using Fetch very frequently this year for chiki my "baby" cat. Our regular pet sitter-Amber is amazing. I got daily reports with gps information that shows the time and whereabouts of the sitter and pet ( for dog visits this should be important.). I really like they are very responsive and got almost immediate response to any question or issue. I am always anxious about timely visits. So it really helps they are quick in answering emails. They even called me once or to even I was in Europe. They also have great packages such an overnight visit including 2 more visits. It is easy to request a visit, but hope I can do it more easily online rather than by email. But mostly I know I can trust the pet sitters and Fetch with Chiki. I am so grateful I found them. read more

Yeah, so these guys are awesome. Our normal pet sitter fell through and Andy quickly accommodated our somewhat panicked same-day request. Peter B. was assigned to cat sit for three days. Then our normal cat-sitter took the key we left for Peter, thinking he was on the job (a miscommunication between good cat samaritans). Peter was amazingly patient and waited at our apartment until we solved the mystery. Communication was great and we got updates daily from Peter. We're back now and our cat is fed, watered, in his usual demeanor, and none of the valuables are missing! What more can I ask for? Will use again. read more

Fetch! Pet care is a very reliable pet sitting service. I have used them on numerous occasions for short trips (over a weekend) but also for a longer 5 day trip. They offer services even at short notice. Jacqueline, the cat sitter is very reliable and is very experienced with cats. She plays with my cat and provides her with clean water, food and her favorite treats. She also sweeps the floors, changes the litter, takes out the trash and collects the mail. Okay, so I am a crazy cat lady. The kind who would rather hang with her cat than go out. Believe me, if you had my cat, you wouldn't want to see humans either. Phoebe Louise is 11, I got her when she was 9 because I hate that no one adopts older cats. Now she is the queen of the universe. She is adorable but definitely a piece of work. She gets lonely and anxious when left alone and I insist that someone visit her every day when I am gone. I know I sound crazy... but she is so freakin' cute! Anyway, I had exhausted my friend list. Plus I kind of felt bad asking my friends to come spend real quality time with her. They wouldn't accept money and I wanted them to do a little more than feed her. Once my friends were all unavailable and I reluctantly went to google in search of a cat sitter. That is when I found Pawsitively Post Pet Care. I am NEVER going anywhere else for my cat-sitting/loving needs. I was super anxious when I contacted them to watch Pheebs. The first thing I loved: They insisted that before I went on vacation, they wanted my sitter to come over and meet me, get to know my house and hang a bit with Pheebs. I didn't want a stranger coming over (what if he or she scared Pheeb!?) so this made me feel great about the service from the start. Then I met Joanna. Joanna is made of puppies and kittens and butterflies and love and happiness. And she was going to love my Pheeb once a day, all weekend. The second I met her, all my stress melted away. It was the first time I'd ever not stressed when leaving Pheebs home for a longer period of time. Every day, after Joanna visits, she sends me an email with a little update on my baby cat and some photos (sometimes even a video!!). Once Joanna even brough over an empty box for Pheeb! She loved it. I've contacted this service now every time I travel. Honestly, if Joanna isn't available, I'd consider moving my whole vacation. I am sure all of the sitters are great, but money can't buy the feeling I get knowing someone loves and is excited to see my cat. My sweet lady Pheeb is never in distress when I come home anymore and Joanna always texts me an excited message when she sees Pheebs on her schedule. It makes my heart happy. Use these guys. I have used Fetch twice now, and plan to use it again. Customer service is very responsive. I have two guinea pigs and use Fetch (instead of neighbors) when I leave home for more than a couple of days. The sitters have both come over and met me and the pets before I leave, and I've received daily notes (and pictures) when they come by. They are the best! I've been using their dog walking services since 2013 on a Mon-Fri basis for my pup Stark. Our regular sitter Kathryn is awesome. Stark is always looking forward to their daily adventures together and I love getting the text & picture updates after each of her visits. Kathryn takes such good care of Stark- always wipes him down if he gets a little too muddy, feeds him some cool-off treats if its a little too hot, and plays with him for an extra few minutes if he's got a little too much energy. In addition, everyone at Pawsitively Posh's office is incredibly friendly and responsive. Scheduling is so easy- you can do it online, over the phone or via email. I prefer to book my visits via email and I always get a response back within 30 mins or less. Pet Care for the first time to look after my cat, Bailey while I was away on a week vacation and couldn't be more please with the care he received and the responsiveness of the sitter, Elizabeth. In the past,I have used apartment referrals and Care.com to find sitters but never really felt confident with the care Bailey received. With Fetch, I received daily "report cards" that included the time she arrived and left, a checklist of everything completed while there,and most importantly for me, multiple of pictures of Baily.
