I spent ages combing through all the various services and Rovers in my area, and I'm SO glad I finally found Baby Got Bark. Claire was incredibly responsive when I sent the initial interest email, and she sent our walker, Jules, out to meet us the next week. We knew it was true love when Jules walked in and said "That dog is a HYENA and hyenas are my favorite animal". Most people call her a tiger, but she is clearly a hyena. Jules has come to walk my pup three days a week for the past few months, and we couldn't be happier. Based on the photos Jules sends after every walk, it is very clear that Suki has a new best friend. Jules is quick to send an update after each walk, and is very responsive to communication in the Portal - even for unrelated tasks I forgot in the morning rush, like taking the blanket off the bed so Suki can't destroy it, as she is prone to do... Claire accepts my walk requests immediately, and the price is lower than anything else I was considering. We're so relieved to know Suki is taken care of and happy while we're at work. We love Baby Got Bark, and will be customers for many many years.

I have never had any issues with my dogs staying with her. Hardest part is probably taking them home because they never want to leave. Shes typically booked way in advance, but she always makes time for my pups. Highly recommend her services to anyone in the area. I personally live about 30 minutes away and will drive out of my way to her spot. I have also recommended friends in the area to dog walk with her and she's great with that as well. Gone are those over priced boarders that don't take care of your pets. If you are away for some time or have a short weekend trip book with Ivana. You'l have peace of mind knowing your loved ones are in great care!

In fact last year I moved an hour away from her and still use her as my dog's pet sitter rather than find someone closer because she's amazing! I know when she watches my dogs they are going to be spoiled and well taken care of. She sends me updates and photos multiple times a day, and I love following them on Instagram. My dog Henry is an older pup with a lot of special needs and requirements and Ivana always does a such a great job of making sure he gets the care he needs. Before I found Ivana, I tried regular doggy daycares and boarding facilities and Ivana is just so much better. With Ivana, my dogs can sleep on the couch, dog beds or wherever they want. It's just like being at home, and I love that!

The only reason e stopped service was because we relocated to New York City. I was a new dog owner, and initially wasn't giving my chi a potty break midday. With DC traffic this became increasingly stressful because I couldn't predict when I'd be home and didn't want her holding her bladder all day! After talking to a lot of walkers, I met Jennifer and the rest is history. Jennifer came over, met P, and talked to me generally about dog ownership & her services. Jennifer is super knowledgeable and a compassionate person for people and animals - this was so helpful because it put me at ease with giving someone access to my house & my new puppy!! Jennifer assigned us Jimmy as a walker - and that was P's BFF from that day forward. Jimmy is such a good human, would txt me updates, if needed, and treated Princess ...like a literal Princess! He was always on time, always communicative, and if the rate case he couldn't cover a walk, Jennifer took her out! They even convinced my little chi to potty in the rain & snow (something I struggle with to this day). Eventually some route changes kicked in and Isa was our walker. Isa was so sweet as well, and helped me fit P in a proper harness (which is tough for the little ones) in addition to being prompt & communicative! Additionally Jennifer sends consistent updates to clients through the portal, it's flexible with scheduling, and send a super cute newsletter with helpful information - esp for first time dog owners. Overall, Run and Play is the best pet care service in southern Maryland area! We were so sad to leave such good people and I highly believe trusting Jennifer with your fur babies is a great choice. 10/10 would recommend!

Nina is the owner of Luvwalks and she is hands-down the greatest dog walker alive. In the past…read moreyear that we've used Luvwalks, Nina has NEVER missed a walking (she walks our dog 4 days/week, minimum), and she's only taken ONE VACATION in 365 days! (We even know her vacation plans for 2010 - yep, just 1 week again!). Fully reliable, we can call her when we're stuck in traffic getting home and she's over to our house to walk our pooch if we can't make it in time w/ no more than 15 min notice. She's even around when I lock myself out of my house to let me in! She's even done our dishes, which is just totally absurd. Nina is the best - she feels like part of your family and you know you can rely on her 100%. I realized I didn't even mention her love for dogs - she takes her own dogs to Walter Reed Hospital to give some love to recuperating soldiers, and clearly loves dogs. Never, ever worried about how she treats our dog - whenever we see her in our neighborhood (she serves Kentlands/Lakelands in Gaithersburg) our dog is super excited to see her - if she didn't treat him well you know he'd show it. Rates are reasonable and Nina will walk and play with your dog for minimum 30 min, sometimes 45 min to 1 hr. She's the only walker in her business so you know exactly what you're getting - no need to worry about high school kids or others that walk the dogs. 5 stars, I'd give 500 stars if I could!

We moved every year all over NW DC and made sure Mike was able to still be our walker before I signed on the dotted line. I'm obsessed with my dog and had to be sure Mike could still be our guy - he's that good. Mike was flexible if I needed to work late to swing by and help me out. He covered on weekends too. He had someone all lined up in case he was sick or needed a vacation and always told me well in advance when possible. He's a true professional. My dog absolutely loves him! I think that's what matters most to me. Mike was prompt, responsible, reasonably priced, patient if I forgot to leave the check, responsive to my emails, attentive when my dog had an upset stomach (I asked him many times to "check the consistency"), kept great and clear records of his walks and my dog's bathroom habits and all around made my life easier. Mike may have made my life easier, but he made my boy's day every day. He is a healthier, happier dog which makes me a happier dad. We moved away from DC and have yet to find a replacement that even comes close. If you're in DC and even considering a dog walker you have found the right guy!

Both employees, including Teresa (the owner), have been professional, prompt, and so caring towards our pooch. They've been able to accommodate extra walk requests as well as unforeseen cancellations. We are moving outside of their service area but we will greatly miss their services. I would highly recommend Belly Rubs to a pet owner who was someone else to care for and love their pet as much as they do. Keep up the terrific work Belly Rubs!
