I would only recommend this spot if you are interested in a quick drink before heading out. I went…read moreon an early Friday evening and the place was empty. I learned the best times would be around 9PM on a weekday for karaoke night. The location was clean and spacious inside. Now parking downtown Omaha is really hard so you are lucky to find a good spot close the location you would be attending. Drinks at this place were not my favorite. Not sure if they had food at the time I went wasn't offered a menu or anything. The bartender was friendly. Also In the back of moe &curly there is a speak easy that opens at 8pm.

What a place! The karaoke is great. Good sound and mix…read more However, this is the only place I've been where the KJ doesn't zipper in newcomers with repeat singers. So if you show up, you could wait 2 hours while the same handful of people perform 3-5 times in different combos. Which gets really old. I saw people leave bc of this and that is less bar sales. Anyway, get there early or prepare to wait more than a while. But it's great if you have the time and love karaoke Drinks are well priced and well poured. Not too stiff, but it not trying to short pour. Plastic cups only which ...... :( Clean bathrooms And the kitchen being open late is a huge plus!! We 1am fries which were nice and crisp, and fresh from the fryer. So go, but plan to wait a LONG time, and enjoy a good show while you do.

We were doing a pub crawl and had a drink at each of the Capitol District bars. I think Annie's would rank probably in the middle somewhere of the places we tried. The ambiance is like a "hole in the wall" style pub with concrete floors and booths like you'd find in Dublin. There's an area at the back with leather chairs, dart boards, and a few board games. I'm not sure if it gets pretty busy at times, but we were the only group of people there when we went, and it seemed rather large and empty. The bartender was a little snippety, but I wasn't sure if this was part of the "schtick" or not, because she wasn't mean or rude, just a little short and hurrying us up to order (humming the Jeopardy theme song when someone was looking at the menu to decide). I took it as funny, so not mad about it or anything. I liked the vibe of the place feeling like you're in Ireland almost, but the cost is a bit expensive for the tiny beer sizes you get. Also you would think for trying to be an Irish pub type theme, they'd serve drinks in real pint glasses, but I got a tiny 12oz or so plastic cup of beer for $5. There are some good things about Annie's, but I think I prefer a few other places in The Capitol District, like Let it Fly or Roxxy.

We got chips and salsa, which were surprisingly spicy, the guacamole had a bit of a cake to it. It was great. The quesadillas were good as well, heavy on the oil. This is not my typical cuisine so it didn't blow me away by any means, but it was good food at a good price. Our server did a great job, taking care of our party of 10! Knowing this was a bachelorette party, she unprompted brought us a free round of shots, which was much appreciated! She even went above and beyond by getting two NA shots for the two pregnant women in our group. Great experience, and great vibe! I would definitely come back here!

The ambiance is almost sultry, in a fun and colorful way. The theme is very cute, and we loved the mini donkeys we got in our drinks. The drinks were okay, not the best cocktails we had of the night, but maybe next time we will try another off the menu. The bartender was very sweet and chatted with us, also giving recs on the drinks since she knew they would be cute for pics! I also loved the conversation pit style coves Ghost Donkey has; it was comfortable and gave us the perfect place to take photos, catch up, and observe the beautiful decorations!
