Me and a few friends went to Ghost Donkey for a fun night out. It was my first time, but they were familiar with the menu. We ordered tacos, the elotes dip and nachos, and some drinks. Everything was flavorful and tasty. The staff were so nice and attentive. The vibe was lively and friendly. I definitely would come back for another fun night of food and drinks.

Ive never been much of a fan of tequila but Ghost Donkeys tequila cocktail selection is superb. The ambience is also quite inviting and the staff clearly love their job. Great place to hang with a group of friends or bring a date with for drinks and bowling at champagne lanes afterwards.

Came here for late night drinks on the weekend. Inside is dark but vibrant lighting and cool tables in the corners for small groups. Outdoor patio is a nice feel with fire pits, tables and some patio couch seating. We had drinks and small bites. I had high expectations for my Mezcal Sun-risa but instead of being spicey and smokey, it was very sweet and lacked alcohol. Some of the other drinks at the tables were better, but overall, cocktails were just okay. Service was quick and everyone was pleasant! Also strange to be patted down and searched before entering the bar, I felt like I was in Los Angeles, not Omaha...but maybe they've had issues with weapons. Overall I won't be back because the drinks were mid, but cool atmosphere!

I was here for a large party and we got their food and it was so good. The carne asada tacos and chips and guac were super tasty. I got the hibiscus drink and it was just the right amount of sweet and spirited. The staff were very friendly and checked on us a lot. They also had a bunch of lights strung up for Christmas so the place looked great!

Had my birthday celebration at Ghost Donkey and the experience was excellent. The screened in porch was warm and the big couch was able to seat all my guests. The wait staff was extremely attentive and our foods and drinks came out promptly. There was even a drink that someone did not like and they appreciated the feedback and got them a new one. All the food was so good. We tried the ceviche, carne asada tacos, and carne asada quesadilla. All delicious , the salsa alone wasn't my favorite but it taste good on the food. I really recommend this space. I will be back!

Unmarked entrance makes this spot feel like a speakeasy but it has an outdoor patio area (inaccessible from outside). Great spot to grab drinks after dinner but can get pretty busy and noisy. Service is inattentive but you can always go up to the bar. Drinks are pricey but worth it if you're looking to check out an energetic spot in Old Market.

I love the atmosphere and how cute it is! From the Ghost Donkey ofrenda, palo santo burners, the food and drinks, it was a wonderful evening! Our waiter was phenomenal and we enjoyed his company! For drinks, we had the Stealth Margarita, Altos Paloma, and Pistolero, all were super delicious and fresh. Antojitos, we had the red and green salsas as well as the guacamole, delice! For dinner, we all had the Carne Asada quesadilla, Carne Asada Nachos, and Chicken Tinga Tacos, so good! Can't wait for our next night out at Ghost Donkey! 10/10 recommend

Food and drinks: We went in after already having dinner, but still decided on getting their delicious quesadillas. The beef was a little greasy, but that's exactly what we wanted at the time. The salsas that they came with were also delicious! For drinks, you can't go wrong with their Palomas - super refreshing! Service was awesome overall; for a Saturday night, it was extremely crowded, but our waitress did a wonderful job of making sure everyone got their drinks in a fast manner. They were also very attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. Ambience of the place was TOP TIER. With the millions of little lights above us and swinging lights at the bar. The only complaint was how loud it was and we all had to scream to hear each other.

Very dark location; not the best for visually impaired. You walk into an enchanted bar with plenty of excitement on the heated patio, I am looking forward to seeing if the patio will be occupied in the Nebraska winters. Great service. Unique experience and drink menu. Happy employees and I love that!

The outdoor patio under the lights was such a vibe--perfect for a laid-back nightcap after dinner. I ordered the Stealth Margarita; it was tasty but definitely on the stronger side. One of the best parts was how the bar connects to Cham Pang Lanes, making it easy to bounce between spots if you're in the mood for something more upbeat. Our waitress was super attentive and checked in on us a few times. I also really loved the comfy sofas--great for lounging in a more casual setting. Definitely a cool spot to unwind with friends.

The most vibey spot in Omaha. I love love loved this bar. The decor is unmatched. The drinks were good & strong. I was told it gets very packed at night & on the weekends. We came in on a Sunday afternoon & it was perfect. Good music & friendly staff. The bartender was very attentive. My only take away was our server. She was slow & forgetful. Our drinks were at the bar just sitting there for a good 10min. My husband eventually just grabbed them himself which was a bit of a turn off.

Work Christmas party was held here and it was great. The vibes were fun with the dark room and twinkle lights - the bartenders even lit some incense occasionally! Drinks were delish and the servers were fun! Chips and guac were amazing as usual :)

Located in the back of the Lanes bowling alley with an outside patio including games. Location is darker with Christmas-type lights on the ceiling and lights on the walls. Wide selection of tequila drinks and Mexican quick dishes. Plenty of helpful servers. Some drinks came with a donkey or salt; adding to the fun.

Late night place. Not for me. It might appeal to other people. Pretty hefty premium for simple, small drinks

I learned the best times would be around 9PM on a weekday for karaoke night. The location was clean and spacious inside. Now parking downtown Omaha is really hard so you are lucky to find a good spot close the location you would be attending. Drinks at this place were not my favorite. Not sure if they had food at the time I went wasn't offered a menu or anything. The bartender was friendly. Also In the back of moe &curly there is a speak easy that opens at 8pm.

So if you show up, you could wait 2 hours while the same handful of people perform 3-5 times in different combos. Which gets really old. I saw people leave bc of this and that is less bar sales. Anyway, get there early or prepare to wait more than a while. But it's great if you have the time and love karaoke Drinks are well priced and well poured. Not too stiff, but it not trying to short pour. Plastic cups only which ...... :( Clean bathrooms And the kitchen being open late is a huge plus!! We 1am fries which were nice and crisp, and fresh from the fryer. So go, but plan to wait a LONG time, and enjoy a good show while you do.

We were doing a pub crawl and had a drink at each of the Capitol District bars. I think Annie's would rank probably in the middle somewhere of the places we tried. The ambiance is like a "hole in the wall" style pub with concrete floors and booths like you'd find in Dublin. There's an area at the back with leather chairs, dart boards, and a few board games. I'm not sure if it gets pretty busy at times, but we were the only group of people there when we went, and it seemed rather large and empty. The bartender was a little snippety, but I wasn't sure if this was part of the "schtick" or not, because she wasn't mean or rude, just a little short and hurrying us up to order (humming the Jeopardy theme song when someone was looking at the menu to decide). I took it as funny, so not mad about it or anything. I liked the vibe of the place feeling like you're in Ireland almost, but the cost is a bit expensive for the tiny beer sizes you get. Also you would think for trying to be an Irish pub type theme, they'd serve drinks in real pint glasses, but I got a tiny 12oz or so plastic cup of beer for $5. There are some good things about Annie's, but I think I prefer a few other places in The Capitol District, like Let it Fly or Roxxy.
