Both on Yelp and via text / call - Second, he offers scheduled pick up and drop off for your furniture which all the other companies I looked at did not offer - He has a great, creative eye for design and worked with me and my fiancé to find the perfect fabric for our chairs - Louis offers an extremely wide range of high quality fabrics and materials to choose from (you will be sure to find exactly what you need -- and Louis was happy to coach us through the process) - He also has really great and flexible hours to accommodate even the busiest professionals (evenings + Saturdays) - Lastly, and most importantly, is the quality of his work! He took 15+ year old chairs and made them look brand new (even better than the original if I'm being honest!). We know we are going to get decades more out of these chairs because of the quality and care Louis put into his work. OH! And the price was extremely competitive and reasonable based on the other quotes I received. We've had the chairs for 10 years, but the are good quality (Room & Board) and lightly used. I initially planned on having arm covers made, and was still able to get the fabric from R&B. However after looking at them, Louis said he could simply replace one panel on each chair. It costs a bit more than the arm covers, but so glad I went this route. They look brand new again. And the picked them up and delivered them! Highly recommend!

I've had a mid century vinyl lobby chair since the late 90s that had a wrecked seat. Paul's reupholstered this chair for me recently as well and I'm happy with the results. They suggested eliminating the taffeting in the seat and retaining it only on the back to help prevent the old issue of the seat material coming apart over time and that was the right choice. I liked that look but it looks great without it too and will be more durable with regular use. The workmanship is high quality and they redid all the piping and everything just like it was. I picked out a red vinyl to match the rest of the den furniture and I'm happy with that too. Paul's also was like $300 cheaper than the comparative quote I got from another place here in town. They have free pickup and dropoff too. I'll continue using Paul's for any future reupholstering projects.

I didn't find anything I like initially and Edgar brought more and recommended some that he thought I would like. He is absolutely right! He also replaced the cushions and made the chair super comfortable. I couldn't be happier. Thank you and would definitely use them again. As for price, I think they are fair. Fabric is very decent priced. After examining the chair, we decided it needed cushion replacement etc., so the labor cost doubled but still totally worth it imo!

Donna was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process. She gave practical advice, and spent a long time looking through upholstery samples with us. We decided to completely strip the wood to reveal the natural wood grain, re-glued, and reupholstered both pieces. All the work was done in approx two weeks, and all correspondence was answered promptly. We are over the moon with the results. The colors are stunning, and great care was taken to line up the complex pattern of the upholstery with the tufting. Excellent service and excellent results. We will be back with future products.
