I've had a mid century vinyl lobby chair since the late 90s that had a wrecked seat. Paul's reupholstered this chair for me recently as well and I'm happy with the results. They suggested eliminating the taffeting in the seat and retaining it only on the back to help prevent the old issue of the seat material coming apart over time and that was the right choice. I liked that look but it looks great without it too and will be more durable with regular use. The workmanship is high quality and they redid all the piping and everything just like it was. I picked out a red vinyl to match the rest of the den furniture and I'm happy with that too. Paul's also was like $300 cheaper than the comparative quote I got from another place here in town. They have free pickup and dropoff too. I'll continue using Paul's for any future reupholstering projects.

Thirty years ago, Hector, Sr., came to our rescue after our teen-aged daughter caused a small kitchen fire to do tremendous "soot damage" to our newly acquired, custom-made, Merchandise Mart, Directional Furniture! The Claims Adjuster with the insurance company, profiling my wife and me spontaneously directed us to order new furniture. Once the Claims Adjuster learned of the cost, he suggested we downgrade and accept second best. Hector came to our rescue. Hector made the custom-made furniture better than custom-made. That furniture has been modernized by Hector three times with impeccable results. We are in the process of redesigning our dining room and Hector is the answer. Odd that he did all but 2 booths in the establishment and his work failed on everyone and the old booths are still in tact. They don't deserve one star. Won't even respond to try and make it right.
