They reached out within 30 minutes of my initial request via the Yelp app and it was super easy to book right on Yelp. They gave me a two-hour window for the appointment, and showed up just 15 minutes in, major plus since I hate when companies show up at the end of the window. I had a pretty straightforward job: nail-down carpet in a bedroom that had built up a lot of pet hair over the past year or so from my cat. They mentioned up front that pet hair can be tough to remove, so I kept expectations realistic. The tech showed up right on time, set up quickly, and had everything done within 30-45 minutes. Told me to give it about 24 hours before moving furniture back in (besides the bed), and when it dried and wow. Carpet looked brand new. All the pet hair was gone, which honestly surprised me given what they said. Price-wise, totally fair $150 flat for one room, no hidden fees, no upsells. Exactly what they quoted. For a one-room deep clean that hadn't been touched in two years, I thought that was a great deal. Overall, 5/5 professional, on time, easy to book, and did an excellent job. I tipped him). The owner was able to suggest some other options for downstairs flooring that may better suit our desire to have a darker floor. We do absolutely love the Kardean Luxury Vinyl floor in Opus that we have upstairs, and would love to install that downstairs, seeing that refinishing the cherry colored Brazilian downstairs is so expensive and it does not change it's color. The Kardean Luxury Vinyl Opus floors that they installed upstairs in our master bedroom and hallway were quite good for $3000 back in 2019. The floors are beautiful, easy to clean (I have 2 dogs) and sturdy. The issue is that the vinyl thresholds that were provided are of so-so quality (it appears that Kardean does not have a decent threshold), so, unless Creative Flooring make their own out of wood and match the color, you're stuck with bad thresholds. I pushed for this on one of the bathrooms adjoining the floor, and that threshold is excellent. I wish I had pushed for that on all the thresholds. We make sure to step over and not on the thresholds to preserve them. Their recent proposal by Fernando Reyes to refinish our downstairs wooden floors seems quite high at $5400--there's around 568 sq feet--dining room, half bath, kitchen, family room. He said we have Brazilian Cherry (installed by previous owner), and I thought it could be darkened, but he said not. Update: after my talking to the owner Fernando says yes he can darken it but gave me no idea of what color it would turn into. $5353 --$9.42 a sq foot. I'm not sure I have solid cherry either, as another company said I have an engineered cherry that can only be sanded once. So.... And, I'm still in disbelief that the measurements are not quoted on my estimate at all. When I measure, I get 568 feet for half bath, small hallway, kitchen, family room, and dining room. So, I also asked re the Kardean glue down flooring and got 2 options: 1. $6919 to glue Kardean vinyl to existing hardwood floors. That's a really high charge considering the Kardean Opus vinyl is now discontinued, and can be gotten delivered to my home for 3K 1000 sq ft easily searching online. So, they're charging me $4K for installation. They know it's been discontinued because I told him, after researching it myself. $12.18 sq foot for vinyl 2. $6469 to float Kardean vinyl on foam to my existing hardwood floors (in case someone wanted to have the hard wood later on) $11.38 a square foot. Not sure why this would be less than above. Can you see how insane these quotes are? I was quoted $2000 to do this job as a wood refinish back in 2012 with the repairs and moving of the appliances. I almost think I could get quotes to rip out the cherrywood and replace it with engineered maple for these costs on luxury vinyl. I don't know what the story is here, but I'm guessing their hardwood salesman is third party and he only gets a fraction of what he quotes me and he prefers to quote for wood refinishing over installation of vinyl (maybe vinyl goes to someone else). I'm not sure if their salesman is telling me the truth about the thickness of the cherry as why would another company tell me it's very thin, and can only be sanded and refinished once. So, as they say, get at least 3 different quotes.

We couldn't have been more wrong. We had two main issues with our carpets: one room had pet odors from a new puppy's accidents, and in the other, you could see where shoes had tracked dirt in from outdoors. The ad clearly stated "pet odor & stain removal experts," so of all the ads, this place seemed to have what we needed. Now, I've personally cleaned our carpets several times with a rented Rug Doctor machine. It's about 50 pounds, and simultaneously sprays and vacuums detergent or water as you drag it over the carpet. The harder you press down, the less liquid gets left behind, thus the carpet dries faster. So, after four hours of cleaning, I would be drenched in sweat and my arms would ache the next day from lugging the unit across the carpets multiple times (once with detergent & twice with water). I was immediately skeptical when I came home to find the person just finishing up. The person was using a 10-pound, glorified electric floor sweeper. It didn't even put down or pick up any liquid! The person misted some liquid from waist height and then leisurely rolled the sweeper around the room. My wife and I exchanged worried looks. If this device was going to make our carpets cleaner, it was going to do it using magic. Bottom line: the pet odors were back as soon as the floral aroma faded after a few days & the carpet where the tracked-in dirt had gotten a little brighter during the cleaning, was dirtier than before within four weeks. Clearly this was because the mist that was applied and never picked up, acted as shoe-cleaning soap. We didn't bother to call the guy back to work his magic trick again as it would have been a waste of another hour. By the time the carpet was noticeably dirtier, it was a few weeks & it would be difficult to claim they did a poor job. It has now been 7 months and the carpets are twice as dirty as before we had them cleaned. Maybe each franchisee uses different equipment, but this particular one is certainly a scam. If they all use the same equipment, I'm certain they all are.

One of the men proceeded to claim that the person who quoted the job was new so the cost was going to be more. They started cleaning the first chair near the headrest and some of the leather started to look discolored. I'm not sure what product they had rubbed on, but the chair was not the same after they left. They then used a hair dryer on a low setting to get the area on the chair to dry. The man then proceeded to call his boss and said what happened to the chair. He then said they were packing it in and not going to do any more. They were gone shortly after.
