I took my brand new car in for an inspection, and they insisted that I needed to buy new wipers…read morefrom them in order to pass the inspection. They cited streaks which they were not able to show, and told me if I left to replace it I would have to get a whole new inspection, essentially charging me for two inspections unless I payed for the parts they wanted to sell me. I took the car immediately to the Ford Dealership, which found no issues with it and had no problem passing my inspection as is. The car is brand new, with only 3,000 miles on it, most of which were put on at the dealership which replaced the wipers and everything before I drove it off the lots. I heard them tell at least two other people that they also needed new wipers on their inspections which further makes me suspicious that it is just their current parts selling scam. I intended to file a complaint with the state inspection agency so that this type of thing does not keep happening to people. I have been using Jiffy Lube for a long time, and while I was not going to need to come in as frequently as I just got a new electric car, I certainly had been recommending it to all my friends. They have lost a life long advocate and customer from this experience.

Only thing is that you have to bring exact change because he has no change to give. Accepts credit cards and checks. Only problem. Other than that is good. I no longer go here now because he charges 2-3 x more now than other mechanics charge . I brought my own brakes pads and rotors and he charged me 500 dollars to put them in. After a few overpriced jobs he did for me I had to do what was best for my budget and find other mechanics who were reasonable . Few of my friends stopped going to him as well. Don't get me wrong does really good work, but I can't afford the price gouging anymore!!!

They called another associate out and he said he would have to put it in the lift to see if there was actual damage or if the flat could be fixed. One of the associates got into the car, closed the door and put his hand on the steering to drive the car into the bay. Which was shocking to me because I had the keys in my hand and the car was off . Another associate said he gets ahead of himself sometimes. I tried to ask another associate about the flat and he said I don't speak English. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. I was never called to let me know the job was finished. I scanned the tag after about 3 hours and it said there was a problem. I went back and the car was finished. I was given a different total and when I asked why was the total different , I got a blank stare and no real explanation. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never go back there, even if I had 4 flats. Nobody seemed to know what customer service is truly about.

The appointment was on a Saturday and no qualified employee was available to diagnose the issue. So they kept my car for an extra day just to tell me my starter needed to be replaced. The "few minutes" I was told the process took suddenly had another 15-minute wait after they got my social security number. I was grossed out looking at the banner with a quote from Mr. Firestone about honesty. I can't imagine he'd like to see a store that doesn't have enough employees to provide service or to take care of customers waiting to get their cars back. The sales teammates said sorry. My mechanic told me they are "like new" and there is nothing wrong with them. Seems like a money grab to me.
