I called on a Thursday and wanted to schedule for the next day, the kind gentleman on the phone informed me he was down some employees and wasn't sure what he could do but that I was welcome to drop it off. Well I did just that, behold I get a call around 3pm that my car was done and ready for pick up. Regrettably I received the message later that night and was unable to make the pick up. Barry worked with me and I was able to pick up my car and get everything sorted the next morning. Not only did I feel like I was being taken care of and respected but this man makes you feel like you're walking into a family place. No games no gimmicks no pressure for a million things. I made an appointment for 10am. I arrived at 9:45 to drop off my car. They told me it would be ready before noon. At 12:15 I called them. They said another hour. At 1:40 I walked into the store. I was told "soon, just wrapping it up". Finally got out at 2:10pm. My suggestion... take the 7am appointment. That way nobody is in front of you.

My mechanic told me they are "like new" and there is nothing wrong with them. Seems like a money grab to me. I was here once before in October for a tire repair and got two tires replaced as well, makes me wonder if I was ripped off then. Thankfully, I declined the break pad repair from them and went to a trusted place to get them checked out since nothing was wrong. Unfortunately, this place seems to just want to take your money & not actually help the customer. I won't be back and won't be recommending this.

I went to Wal-Mart Auto Care for an oil change. Paid 50 something dollars, and left. While on the…read morehighway. I heard a wind like sound coming from engine compartment. I pulled over, looked under the car, and saw that the driver's side engine cover was touching the ground as well as having been ground down by touching the road. It became clear that the mechanic that performed the oil change under my car either did not properly fadten this cover or left off fasteners. Going back to Wal-Mart to have them rectify this shabby craftsmanship which caused damage to my vehicle.

They called another associate out and he said he would have to put it in the lift to see if there was actual damage or if the flat could be fixed. One of the associates got into the car, closed the door and put his hand on the steering to drive the car into the bay. Which was shocking to me because I had the keys in my hand and the car was off . Another associate said he gets ahead of himself sometimes. I tried to ask another associate about the flat and he said I don't speak English. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. I was never called to let me know the job was finished. I scanned the tag after about 3 hours and it said there was a problem. I went back and the car was finished. I was given a different total and when I asked why was the total different , I got a blank stare and no real explanation. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never go back there, even if I had 4 flats. Nobody seemed to know what customer service is truly about.

This meant I was faced with the prospect of spending the night in Scranton to wait for a tire to arrive at some time the next day. Realizing my 'problem', Larry offered a solution at a reasonable price that would allow me to continue on my way that afternoon.
