On February 20, 2015 I was driving from NYC to Ithaca, NY with my son for his college audition. We were making great time. And then the car suddenly overheated. The temperature outside was below zero. AAA towed us to your shop. Our good friends, also going to Ithaca, detoured to pick us up and we left the car in your shop overnight. From the moment we walked in the door we felt well taken care of. My car came into the shop completely dry. No coolant, no oil, nothing, in spite of being checked just the day before. It could have been a number of things, ranging from a minor repair to a major event. Stephanie was knowledgeable, thorough...and honest. Stephanie knows what she is talking about. We felt like she really wanted us to be back on the road in a safe car. And that is what happened - at a very low cost. Not only that, but when we came to pick it up the next day, Brian gave us a ride to a diner so we could get something to eat while they took one more look to be safe. They even offered to pick us up after we ate. Aside from giving clear, informative updates, Stephanie sets a positive, friendly and honest tone at the front desk. We saw her interacting with a lot of customers, calmly answering every question in detail. That must take a lot of energy. I mean, nobody is happy about bringing their car in for repairs. And it was busy and late in the day. This could have been an awful experience. Well, it was pretty exhausting but we met some good people, and we got back to NYC... I called on a Thursday and wanted to schedule for the next day, the kind gentleman on the phone informed me he was down some employees and wasn't sure what he could do but that I was welcome to drop it off. Well I did just that, behold I get a call around 3pm that my car was done and ready for pick up. Regrettably I received the message later that night and was unable to make the pick up. Barry worked with me and I was able to pick up my car and get everything sorted the next morning. Not only did I feel like I was being taken care of and respected but this man makes you feel like you're walking into a family place. No games no gimmicks no pressure for a million things. Requested: diagnostic behind engine lights and oil change…read more Outcome: Job done correctly. I actually learned a lot about my car. And they didn't scalp me. Owner is extremely knowledgeable, personable, willing to discuss your vehicle, and is helpful. I will continue to bring my cars here. Additional context: dealer and several other shops could not or would not provide me answers for the lights (but sure loved to take my money and provide "eh, maybe, it could be" responses). The (redacted) Cadillac dealer I previously went to, failed to identify the issue. They also failed to replace/fill oil on my last service resulting in a critical low oil state-- also adding unnecessary wear to the vehicle and inspired a new engine noise. I was about to give up and drive the car off a bridge-- Meoni's: quickly diagnosed the issue, about 24 hours, with a confident and clear answer. They have a fair labor rate that doesn't feed a corporate machine. They gave me a fair price for the diagnostic work. After all said and done... due to the age, wear, and other factors, they didn't recommend fixing the issue. The owner and I discussed his reasoning, which was supported by objective evidence. This demonstrates integrity I simply cannot find in any other shop I've been to. I cannot recommend it more.

I needed 4 new tires, an Oil Change, and an Alignment. I visited 3 places in the Dickson City…read morearea. Firestone (I had used them before, back in 2022 for 2 tires), Americas Best and KOST Tires. Firestone gave me a reasonable price for true "Firestone" tires. Americas Best were $80.00 cheaper but they were for "No Name" tires, and they did not do Oil Changes nor did they have an Alignment machine. Never buy tires and not get an alignment. KOST was $200 more for a set of Goodyears. Even his no-names were more than Firestone. I went with Firestone. I made an appointment for a Saturday. I dropped off my car on Friday night. As promised my car was done by 3pm on Saturday. All is good. I received several emails from Firestone regarding my car, and got 2 status calls from the shop. I don't think you can ask for more than that. They are a pretty busy shop. They have 10 bays and 9 of them were occupied both times I was there. I would encourage making an appointment is advance.
