Paul's Appliances saved my Holidays! My gas range finally gave out shortly before the holidays after a few months of futile attempts at quick fixes. I had no idea how hard it would be to find the range you want, at an appropriate price, and delivered/installed quickly. After tireless internet research and Karl's letting me down Paul's Appliances saved the day! They were able to sell me their last Frigidaire gas range, that happened to be the floor model, and deliver/install the next day. They were also very upfront in saying the bottom drawer was bent but they would absolutely replace it. The also have very friendly quick service. I was able to walk in and out in 15 minutes. I ordered a new window air conditioner over the phone after speaking to Joe. It came with free shipping and no sales tax. (I live in Manhattan). Worked out great, I used a handyman to install it as it had a sleeve. He took 3 hours to install it! Wish I had used Paul to install it for $65. Another a/c I ordered did not work out for me, it was very noisy, Paul's took it back no charge for the return or delivery. Friends have had similar positive experiences. read more

My 35 year old KitchenAid double wall oven finally bit the dust. Called Paul's and they had a 27" KitchenAid double wall oven in stock. Worried that the new oven wouldn't fit in my Kitchen Cabinet , the installer came out to take measurements to see how much would have to be cut before we ordered it.The cabinet had to be cut a 1/2" on either side. So once we knew how much it would be to cut the cabinet , we decided to order the oven. Today , a week later they delivered the oven. Cut the cabinet and installed the oven. The installer was very professional, cut the cabinet like a carpenter and was neat and clean. Now, I look forward to using this beautiful oven. read more

I needed an over/under GE washer/dryer, phoned Paul's and had no problem getting it ordered. When arranging delivery and installation with Andre, I mentioned that Home Depot's delivery service had refused to deliver the same machine two years ago, because it wouldn't fit through the laundry room door - a 25 inch door, a 23.5 inch unit. Andre assured me that his math was like mine, and it would be fine. The delivery guys arrived right on schedule, and in about 15 minutes they had the old machine out and the new one installed and running. They were prompt, professional and pleasant! Great prices and product. However, I experienced MULTIPLE issues with installation. They had to come back 3x's for the install- all of which could have been avoided if their installers were more attentive. You'd think they'd anticipate the issues that occurred being that they do this everyday, and the issues were not extreme or difficult. Just simple misses that could have been avoided. read more

I have been a customer of Paul's Appliances since I bought my first home in the early 1980's. The store has always delivered excellent products and superior service. I recently purchased an in-the-wall air conditioner and the installers were very efficient, polite and did an extraordinary job with the installation. They removed the old one and replaced it with the new one. I was very pleased with everything from the ordering, delivering and installation. I would not hesitate in recommending the store. They are the best!! The sales people are extremely knowledgeable in explaining the products that are available and the prices are always very competitive and fair. Excellent customer service for the last 3 major appliances we have purchased. I highly recommend. For the 3rd purchase - a fridge- we were able to have delivery very next day. We worked w Andre on that. This summer, we purchased the fourth recent appliance - a washer- and we worked w Andre on that too. The washer, a Speedqueen top Loader, was absolutely terrible. Left residue from fabric softener at the bottom of the tub causing me to have to rewash clothes, and the cold water setting came out cool and cool setting came out warm and warm setting came out very hot.... there was no sense with that machine and it clearly arrived defective. Add to that - it didn't do a good job of washing either ... spoke w Andre about the issues w machine, and I am very pleased to say that even though Speedqueen lost all points on customer service with this experience, Paul's Appliance continues to be stellar in how they take care of their customers standing behind what they sell even when the manufacturer (Speedqueen) does not. Result: The defective machine was replaced with an Electrolux EFLS627UIW front load washer which we absolutely love - cost a little more than Speedqueen but absolutely worth it. Washes clothes impeccably well. Paul's Appliances = 10, Electrolux = 10, Speedqueen = -1 Thank you Paul's and thank you Andre for the excellent customer service. read more

Terrible place, ordered a fridge, a kitchen fan, and an oven door. They said 1 month in September 2020 and it's been 5 months. They had the other two things and the fridge has no delivery date. Now when we want at least the two things, they said they can't deliver because they won't make money because for delivery/installation needs to be at least $600. This place had no courtesy in sending it to us after being loyal customers with them and their lies about delivery after waiting for 5 months. Absolutely disgusted by the management. read more

I purchased the Bertazzoni free standing range in orange! Bold but beautiful....it looks amazing in my apartment. I couldn't have pulled the trigger and made this happen without the help of my salesperson, Andre. He was professional, well versed, nice and helpful every step of the way. He made this expensive purchase seamless and enjoyable :) Another highlight was the communication process. Andre kept me in the loop from ordering to installation. I can't tell you enough how much I love Paul's Appliances!!! I bought 2 microwaves, my Subzero, my Viking Stove and my outdoor BBQ from them 14 years ago. Time for new appliances--and I went back to Paul's. Dominick and his daughter, Adrianne, are both so professional and knowledgeable--and also patiently answered all my questions. I just got two Miele dishwashers delivered and installed last week. The service/installation guys were polite, professional and fast! Waiting for two microwaves and a washer and dryer to be delivered soon and it is great knowing that I will get great service again! Purchased a stove, they price matched the Home Depot price and even with the 1/2 price tax it was still more with their added delivery fees as they charge extra for two flights of steps. The stove arrived damaged and had to wait for a different day for another stove, now the last delivery on a Saturday at 7:15pm they arrived. Had informed the owner Andreanna at the first attempt with the damages, the delivery crew took pictures and send them to the store. I asked for a discount as I had waited for the fist delivery and would need to again. $50. she said no, it was only $20. for the extra delivery charge, she would put that through, when? so after the next stove did arrive a week later, I called and was informed she was always out of the store or in a meeting this went on for another week- avoiding the customer. It was when I send her an email, she responded, and still a broken promises. A terrible business person, first time and only time customer- I like to support small businesses, Paul's Appliances is unprofessional as that is the OWNER -NOT experienced, does not comprehend building loyal customer service skills. Jumping on the "Yay, Paul's!" bandwagon. My spouse and parent and I walked in with only general info about what we wanted, and still reeling from a thoroughly lousy experience at a different store. We were helped immediately by Andre, who shared his knowledge and opinions and experience with us. Andre was great-- he answered all of our questions, and was respectful and pleasant. We purchased an entire kitchen's worth of appliances, as well as a washer and dryer. The entire experience was painless. Thank you, Paul's! purchased a new stove and it came damaged (see two pictures) and had to wait one week. i called the store and spoke to the sales guy Andre who i asked to speak to the owner - i spoke to Andreanna and asked for $50 refund as this was now going to be a 2nd delivery. she said the best was $20. so the next week i waited for another stove that arrived at 7:15pm on a Saturday night, the driver told me it was the last stop! since the 2nd stove as been installed it has needed two services. the first tech said it was a loose wire. the 2nd tech showed me the the wires were put together with wire nuts. the tech said he has been doing this for 35 years and never saw that and he wanted to know if this stove was used. I said it came in a new looking box, he said it could have been refurbished (see one picture) perhaps PAUL'S Appliances sells used items and does NOT tell the customers. to make my point after the 2nd stove was delivered i called 5 times in one week and the owner Adriana she never retuned the call, when i emailed her calling her out for her lack of customer service that she had broken her promise of refunding part of the deliver fee of $20. she replied with a sob story. Not a place to shop as the items could be used and the lack of so called customer service form the OWNER! we may go to consumer affairs and go for a refund and shop the highway stores. read more

Everyone we encountered at Paul's was attentive, cheerful and efficient, and Andre was outstanding: knowledgeable, low-key, respectful of our needs and preferences, and totally flexible about our complicated delivery needs. (We needed the w/d right away, the stove weeks later, and the rest even later, to fit our contractor's schedule). All it took was a phone call each time, and appliances were delivered next day. Amid the stress of the renovation and the many different suppliers of all kinds we dealt with, this was by far the best and smoothest experience. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. What a pleasant experience it always is when buying an appliance from Paul's. I needed a refrigerator and did some research on line in order to get an idea of what I wanted. Naturally, you can't always get what you want. So much depends on the measurement of your space. Joe also did a lot of research and came up with some options. Joe and Andre are great salespeople, you almost feel like they are family; they give you so much attention and they never attempt to up sell. I picked out a couple of much pricier refrigerators but Joe said no can do because of the space I had in my kitchen. The delivery men were lovely and provided "white glove" service. I bought a flat screen television from them a few years ago. The experience at Paul's Appliances is so superior that I would never go anywhere else ever! read more

I purchased a Liebherr refrigerator from Paul's Appliances & Electronics in March 2013 and couldn't be happier that I did. Sales consultant Joe Rebelo helped me through the entire process, setting up delivery and the extended warranty. When I had a recent issue with the unit's ice maker, I contacted Joe and he reached out to the warranty company to schedule service, and now the ice maker is working perfectly again. Given my hectic schedule, I appreciated how responsive Joe was via email and that even though my purchase was a year old, he took the time to assist me with the service. I recommend Paul's to my friends and encourage others to use them. read more

I was looking for a refrigerator and I was told to check out Pauls, which I did. Paul's and Sears actually had the same price for the same refrigerator but I chose Paul's because I would save the tax (delivery was to Staten Island.) I should have paid the tax! I asked for a left hinge refrigerator and my salesman Andre said no problem. Well, the refrigerator arrived with a right hinge and the gentleman who delivered said he would reverse the door but it would cost me $25. I said no way, speak to Andre, which he did and Andre confirmed that it should have been a left hinge. So in the process of reversing the hinge the delivery guy broke the cap that covers the screw on the door and he said he would order another one and ship it to me That was June 1st, I still have not received the new cap. When I moved in I noticed that the stationery shelf on the door had about 7 hairline cracks in it and I called Paul's and this time spoke to Joe. I called him on July 13th, and just to be clear, I did not move in immediately after receiving the refrigerator, it was a few weeks later. I explained the cracks to Joe and even sent him pics of the cracks, two sets of pics, so he could see them himself. He said he would send the pics to his boss and get back to me. I didn't hear from Joe that day so the next day I called him back. The woman who answered the phone asked who was calling, and then she told me that Joe "was with a customer" and she would have him call me back. I am still waiting for the call back! Never again, terrible customer service. Its their loss I must say because I need a microwave and my girlfriend wanted a new stove, refrigerator and microwave, so she will be buying elsewhere now as well. read more

Friendly service, good selection of higher-end products, competitive prices, and you don't have to deal with the nonsense of a chain store -- there was an actual person, whose name I knew, who knew mine, that I could call as things came in, I needed measurements, changed orders, etc. And maybe most importantly, a delivery team that took a can-do attitude to getting the stuff into the building, rather than saying "stairs", and dropping it all on the sidewalk. I received my second order, which included paid installation services for the microwave, gas range and air conditioner. The two delivery people were polite and respectful. They removed the existing appliances without issue and provided time for me to clean the a/c sleeve and under the range before installing the new appliances. There were a couple of areas for improvement - I wished that they leveled the oven and set the pitch for the air conditioner, both of which I consider to be installation tasks. Be prepared on what to ask the installers to do as part of their services by reading the installation manuals beforehand (you can find manuals online for all appliances). I still keep the rating at 5-stars because I was still extremely satisfied with the overall experience. read more

I would like to thank all the staff of Paul's for all their help with a problem we had with a refrigerator that was purchase there. Dallas and Dominick were very helpful. After sending a repair man to the house to try to fix the problem, when we found out the problem wasn't fixable I spoke with Dominick the refrigerator was exchange.
