And our anxious, suspicious rescue dog took to Dave with very little hesitation. Communication, drop off and pick up were a breeze; their care and service is outstanding and their prices are beyond reasonable. I also appreciate the fact that they are open 6 days a week (8 am to 6 pm) with emergency services on Saturday from 12-4, which shows that Aloha Veterinary Center is making an effort to fulfill veterinary care in the community.

Then I waited a half hour before a vet tech. came and said she was taking the dog to have a "fecal Smear'". I told her I would like to speak with the veterinarian. She brought my dog back.. Ask if they could get a blood test to maybe rule out pancreatic problem. By now it was nearing 2 PM. I told her I did not think it was pancreatic. My dog showed no symptoms of pain. and , of course, by this time I am beginning to think they just want to run up my bill. I never got to see the vet. and I ended up paying $78 for a fecal smear WOW! Her temp was 101.3 per the tech This experience is so different from the experience I had with Dr Matsumoto. Last October my other dog had an intestinal package. He took an X-ray discussed it with me and with in the hour he operated. He was wonderful! We discussed options and my dog is alive because of him.

I'm REALLY glad we held out for Pampered Pooch. Kiki warmed up instantly to Eric -- she ALWAYS had growled at strangers, except for the vet herself. Eric kept us posted on how she was doing. We were so grateful to have PP for our following, longer trip. We felt comfortable knowing she was being well cared for. When my husband picked her up, she'd been playing constantly with a couple of other dogs her size. Very pleased and not trusting anyone else with our dog. The grounds are spacious and well cared for, too.
