I brought my Dodge Challenger here specifically for a persistent noise, wobble, and vibration. I…read moreclearly explained the symptoms and specifically told them the issue needed to be evaluated while driving. After their "diagnostic," I was told my rotors were warped and agreed to repairs totaling about $2,200, believing they had actually identified the problem I came in for. They didn't. The original noise, wobble, and vibration were still there. I brought the car back, and suddenly they discovered that my driveshaft was completely loose--and now I'm being quoted another $1,500+ just for the part. How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not trust this shop with another repair.

Again Jay is a nice guy but at times I think he is using youtube to fix cars. Dont make a horrible decision that could cost you thousands of dollars. Please learn from my mistake.

Please do not go to this shop. First, I paid for a diagnostic, and I came for a starter issue. They…read moreclaimed the starter I purchased didn't work so I purchased another through them. Then the car still didn't work, and they said I needed another engine. I purchased the engine through them. I was only given one choice of engine. I had to put this on credit to be able to pay for it. They never updated the correct miles and after the new engine the car still didn't work. There was only a 30 day warranty. Then they said there was something wrong with the fly wheel which never came up during the diagnostic. Then they told me they had no one to fix it. I took my car from them broken and in worse condition than before and they broke the key fob to my car. I spent over $7,000 with them to still recieve a car that didn't work after months. I got myself into debt with no car. An engine should never have a 30 day warranty. The car sat up there for almost 30 days after putting in the new engine until I just had the car towed away.

I think we've found our go-to auto shop! I have never in my life been to a shop with such clearly…read moredefined and transparent services with prices that don't magically move or shift at checkout. You can calculate everything before you pay because it's all clearly listed in-store and on their website, and as long as you tell them exactly what you want done that price does not move. It's crazy to think that's some special characteristic, but unfortunately there are way too many scammers and liars saturating the repair market. Now this place is pretty small and boutique in nature. I like the emphasis on thoroughness. There are three carports and it's on a small lot, so don't expect to have your car worked on immediately unless you are getting a minimal service (oil change). We needed a lot done, so the husband arrived early @8AM for an appt he set online and told the young man working what we needed done (100k mile tune-up, brake replacement, and a few other things). He was very transparent about needing to order parts, so he told him to come back at 3PM. We arrived around 3:15PM and had another 15min wait, but our tech gave us some water while we waited in their small, minimalist lobby (three chairs and their checkout desk). I give extra points for being done around the time when he said he would. Shortly after we arrived he took us out to the bay, explained what he did and what we needed to keep an eye on. I really appreciated that he addressed what needed to be immediately fixed yet paused on what we could sit on for a bit. We were not sold any false sense of urgency and the entire experience was quite black and white. Perfect for us. Now, Dad's doesn't do super complex car repairs or body work, and they are very transparent about that. You can definitely give them a call beforehand to see if they can work on what you need. Their prices are quite fair, and the workmanship is of great quality. Don't expect any overly-friendly or outgoing mechanic though... but I honestly appreciate business-forward bluntness in this industry way more than any false pleasantries.

When assessing my car for regular maintenance needs (new brake pads and an oil change), he thoroughly investigated my all of my concerns and listened to me. The services my car needed were priced very fairly, and I didn't feel taken advantage of. That part is especially important to me as a woman who has been overcharged for unnecessary services in the past - you won't have to learn that hard lesson here! I have limited knowledge about cars (and LOTS of questions as a result), and Michael took care to address each one of them. He was patient, thoughtful, and so welcoming! If you have the pleasure of spending an hour in his shop while waiting for your service to be completed, you won't be without a great companion. He is a busy man, but clearly makes time for his customers. I would absolutely recommend this shop for their quality of service, kind staff & owner, and great value.
