I'd rate this place - and the cleaners across the street from it six stars if I could. Both have been serving their neighborhood forever. Straight, honest diagnosis. Fair prices. Fast service. This is my go to spot for my annual emissions test. Twenty bucks- in and out. But the shop services all types of cars and needs. Is it posh? No. It's a service center. Old, authentic Atlanta still exist. Drop your car, walk across the street while you wait and get your alterations pinned. Or eat a The Beautiful. The brakes on my truck were squeaking. Actually they were grinding, metal on metal. I knew it was time for brake service. I found this shop on Yelp, read the reviews and they seemed favorable. I called the shop and the owner answered the phone each time and told me that they could service my make and model and told me the price. The shop has three bays and kinda reminded me of an oil change shop that crossed as a all purposes service center. Anyway, brakes aren't the most complicated job to do so I felt confident that the work could get done without any problems. I purchased my own brake pads and rotors. They installed them in under an hour. Front brakes and rotors $160..better than the dealer for sure. read more

I used to solely go to this place for my oil changes because it was so so convenient to my house but recently my car started leaking a lot of oil. Like all of the oil. It was bone dry. I topped it off so I could get it from my driveway to the street to be towed to a shop thinking it was something very bad like massive oil leaks usually indicate. After looking at it my mechanic called me and said luckily it wasn't terrible news but who ever had done my last oil change, which was Cascade Service Center, had forgotten to use a copper crush washer and had also not tightened the drain plug sufficiently to where it had completely come unscrewed and when they dropped the skid plate to investigate it the plug rolled across the floor. I used to love how nice and fast they were at Cascade but I guess the quickness they offer is accounted for by cutting corners. Won't be back sadly. read more

I have been to this place twice now for synthetic oil change and they have been great. But OMG. I just went to get a top off and my tire pressure checked since I'm going on a trip. My oil didn't need anything added. I saw they had windshield wipers, and I knew I needed new ones so I asked if they would fit in my car. I had already planned on going to the auto parts store two blocks away where I knew they would put them on for free. I made the INCORRECT Assumption that they wouldn't charge me for labor to put on the windshield wipers. The windshield wipers were $26. And they charged me $45 out the door. Their sign says $95 an hour labor. It took him LESS five minutes to do all of the above. $1.58 /min x 5 min is $7.90. I could've gone two blocks down and saved 20 bucks. And this man probably looked at me, as a woman, and assumed I didn't know I could get them for free down the road. Yet another taking advantage, thinking women don't know any better. Do NOT buy wipers here. Oil change service was great. I will not be coming back for this reason. Unless I get a $12 refund! read more

0/10 do NOT recommend! When I pulled in and asked if they were open and if the available mechanic could help, he sarcastically looked at their lit open sign and said "no." I proceeded to pull into the shop thinking he could help but he told me to 'leave and ask Walmart'. When I asked him if everything was okay and why he won't help, he proceeded to verbally insult me which led to us going back and forth. He said why would I ask if it was open if I saw the sign but I also saw him eating and assumed he could have been on break. So he turned down my services because he didn't like a simple question? He is usually kind and helpful so maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on a customer. I wonder if a man would have gotten that same response? Or an elderly woman? Or a white person? I am blessed my engine didn't BLOW UP because this place completely forgot to tighten my oil cap after my oil change and all the oil leaked! They've done a great job rotating my tires, and were quick about it. Whereas Walmart had me wait for 3 hours, only to tell me that they wouldn't do it because the front tires had wear on them. Uh, DUH!!! That's why it's called a rotation. They also did a quick emissions test. read more

Found this shop through Google. I was tired of high dealer prices for every service. I have a 2005 BMW 530I. I had a leak that I thought was oil. I called around at local shops. Everyone immediately said "bring it in we can fix it." He was the only one who asked the direct questions (car make/model, what year, mileage, color of fluid, was it only on one side, how much fluid). He just seemed smarter. He said from my answers it sounded like coolant because in a BMW antifreeze is bluish and can feel slightly oily. I went in and he admitted he could not find any leaks or wetness. He did not try to rip me off by changing something. He suggested I park overnight, watch for leaks and come back if leak was still there. I didn't see any more leaking,, but 2 days later I went back for an oil change which was due anyway. He put my car on the hoist, removed undercover and verified no leaks but he did see white, chalky "stuff" dried on hose from radiator. No oil anywhere. Fluids were all good except coolant was slightly low, not much. He gave me option of changing the hose or just watching it. He changed oil quickly and I opted to order the hose and have it changed. Charge for parts and labor (minus oil change) was $100. I will be using this guy for sure. He is smart, fair, honest and reasonably priced. read more

I went in for a tune up 2 weeks after receiving an oil change per the TWO mechanics recommendation just to come back to no one remembering me & not remembering the advice they suggested. The Asian, im assuming owner, glanced under my hood & said they wouldnt be able to help. FOR A TUNE UP, on a Mazda. I frequented this place for my oil changes but never again. Poor customer service. Was also told, you work on so many cars & dont remember who you told what to....GREAT JOB! read more

If I could leave less than 1 * I would. The attendant Tommy was the rudest and most disrespectful person I have ever come across. I came in there inquiring about service and he was just so aggressive and aggravated with the idea of answering any of my questions. I am admittedly ignorant about cars, so I needed to understand what I was needing and what I was paying for. He had no time to talk to me quickly told me, if I can't afford to do it, I can get out of the lot. he said it just that way. This is definitely a business that does not respect customers and does not care about attracting a new customer. He was so rude to me that it went beyond business, it was personal. the way he spoke and his demeanor was absolutely awful and the whole time I was being kind speaking with a soft tone and asking questions to help me better take care of my vehicle, but he had no time for questions if I wasn't committing to the service in that moment. Whoever owns this place, should definitely not leave him to talk to the customers. It was another young man in there, but I don't remember his name, but he was respectful and kind and tried to help me, but had some additional questions, so he called Tommy. that was a big mistake. If you are just going to get work done and don't have to communicate with them or have any questions, maybe they warrant those good reviews. But if you have any question or challenge any sort of information in order to make an educated decision, they don't have time to talk to you. Don't just look at the good reviews. Look at the bad ones and read between the lines . They want your money or they want you gone. In general that seems fair, but when you think about the aggressive way that it was done, it was totally disrespectful. Not only will I never get any work done here, but I am spreading the word here and on other review platforms, as well as Word of Mouth. read more

These guys may be great at the repairs that they do, I don't know, but, what I do know is, when you come in here to get quotes, have an idea already of what prices are for parts and how much labor is on average. I suspect these guys will pray on people that are ignorant of cars and full of trust. I called for a quote on a car that I had just purchased. Somewhere in our conversation I mentioned that I did not know much about cars and at the end of our conversation the shop proceeded to tell me that the repairs for my car we're going to be expensive at least over $1000. See I said that I don't know much about cars what I didn't say was that I did not know much about my car because I did and the information that I was being given is totally false. My car is a 94 Toyota Camry XLe and everyone knows parts and labor are very economical. Parts are cheap and plentiful and because this is a basic car fixing them are very easy and not expensive. I had already done the research. So the moral of the story is, Hold your pocketbook tight. read more

I had a heater valve put in my 01 525i BMW. It did not do what it is intended to do: activate the heat in the car. I came back and the owner Kim was very nasty and rude. He said you brought us the part and it was put in that is all we can do. If it is not working drive it around a few days and see what happens. He gave me the run around. It was not working after a few days I went said he said he doesn't want to do anything about it. I paid him $150.00 to put in the part! What happened is that the guy who put the part on did not know what he was doing! Kim doesn't stand behind his work and be responsible. I won't be back ever again! You better believe that! He ripped me off for $150.00. The guy who put the part on said it is working but it wasn't. He lied to cover his butt in front of Kim. Stay away from Cascade Service Center. They are crooks! Kim passed the buck by saying: "I don't think this is what's wrong. Why then did you put the part on? The runaround crap. Stay away from this place. They have no diagnostics to find out what is wrong. They are just part pullers. They will rip you off real quick. They just want fast money. They are hustlers, thief's and can't be trusted. I was excited about going to this auto repair because of the great reviews. I went there on Thursday (8/25/16) to speak with Steve and get a price quote about brakes for my Toyota. I was greeted by a really friendly lady (so nice) and I was thinking (yes) this may be my auto repair shop. Steve came into the store and was not the friendly person I read about. Because of this I rated them a 3 and I will not be a permanent customer of this location. Maybe the friendly greeting is for certain people and not everyone. Not sure.
