We rolled up to get my 2008 corolla oil changed. "uuuh, we have two options for you today, $88 and…read more$108" said one of the two people standing around doing nothing. What a joke. They use a tiered computer program system that spits out the two highest oil changes and do not let the customers see any of the other options. Thievery! They also blame the $30 surchage on the war in Iran, but its actually the war on customers from corrupt, greedy corporations like valvoline. Adios Blackrock!

I brought my 2018 BMW X5 xDrive35i to this Valvoline on 1/29/26 for a routine oil change and paid…read more$152.43. Before service, my vehicle had no oil leaks, which was confirmed by their initial inspection report. A trainee worked on my vehicle during the service. After the oil change, I was suddenly told my car had an oil leak and was given a second inspection printout that directly contradicted the first. I drove straight home and immediately found fresh oil pooling in my driveway, which continued to worsen overnight while the car was parked. When I returned, I was told the drain plug was cross-threaded. That explanation later changed to the damage being "pre-existing," despite no leak prior to service and no disclosure before reinstalling the plug. I was then sent to BMW and told to contact Corporate. BMW's inspection resulted in an estimated $5,000 in required repairs related to oil leakage and associated damage. Valvoline Corporate later attempted to minimize the issue by saying reimbursement was "at the discretion of the shop," even though this damage appeared immediately after their service. Between poor workmanship, contradictory documentation, and shifting explanations to avoid responsibility, this was one of the worst automotive service experiences I've had. A simple oil change turned into thousands of dollars in damage. If you value your vehicle--especially a BMW or any car requiring care--do not trust this location.

First of all, Jeremy was kind, funny and professional. Their staff is also diverse and professional. The place is extremely clean and they are even thoughtful enough to have snacks and coffee. But the kicker for me? How thorough the inspection report was. The money was well worth it for the amount of detail that was put into the report and made me feel more educated on the condition of the vehicle. I certainly will be back.

Not only did Christian Brothers…read moreshow amazing hospitality, but they were very informative and made sure I understood all that was going on with my car issue. They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.

Not only was I overcharged, but the work was clearly not done properly. My check engine light is still on, which was one of the main reasons I brought my car in to begin with. When I returned to address the issue, I was met with nothing but unprofessionalism and zero accountability. The manager didn't even pretend to care. His exact words were: "There's nothing we can do. You can leave a Yelp review if you want," and then he walked off mid conversation. No explanation. No apology. No effort to resolve the problem. This place clearly lacks integrity, customer service, and basic decency. I trusted them with my vehicle and got ripped off in return. Save your time, money, and sanity go literally anywhere else!!

One week later, we left for that road trip and almost immediately received a low-pressure notification from the vehicle. We turned around, went back home, and found oil all over our driveway. We are now sitting at a Firestone waiting for them to fix a leak at the oil drain plug that was completely ignored by your technicians. Furthermore, the only oil they found in the vehicle seems like old oil that was never changed in the first place. This is completely unacceptable. We did exactly what responsible customers are supposed to do. We brought the vehicle in before a road trip, clearly explained the situation, and trusted your staff to do the job properly. Instead, we are dealing with a potentially serious issue, a ruined travel day, oil on our driveway, and the added time and expense of having another shop inspect your work. You have lost us as customers permanently. I also want to be very clear that I intend to make sure people know exactly what happened at this location. I will be sharing this experience honestly and publicly because I do not believe people should trust a shop that sends a customer out the door after an oil change and "road trip check," only for that customer to find oil leaking all over their driveway a week later. This was careless, unacceptable, and completely destroyed our trust in your business.
