The King Kamehameha was a little soggy in the middle, but the flavors still hit -- sweet caramelized pineapple, tangy pickled jalapeños, and all that smoky, salty meat made every bite worth it. The Bee Sting was the star: spicy, sweet, creamy, and savory all at once. The honey and serranos with ricotta and cured meats were insanely addictive. The Diavola Chop Salad tied everything together -- crisp, tangy, and bold enough to stand up to the rich pizzas. I wish I could tell you more about all we ordered but this is all I tried that night. We'll definitely come ba to try other dish on the menu.

Stopped in around 1pm on a Tuesday and was told there's a 35-40 minute wait despite seeing some empty tables along with some customers wrapping up their dining and walking out, but yet it looked like we were the only ones waiting for a table. Felt kind of weird but we decided to check out the surrounding businesses, which wasn't much to look at so we were back within 10 minutes, waiting awkwardly by the entrance. Staff was friendly with multiple people asking if we've been helped. I was just looking forward to having a cold beer and a nice salty pizza. We wanted to make the most of our time in the area so we just opted to get some food to go, which was only a 15 minute wait for this option. Spaghettini w/ Pork Cheek Ragu - DELICIOUS and RICH! Amatriciana - great combo of toppings and flavors Cheese pizza - my daughter is boring when it comes to food but she devoured a half pizza by herself. Didnt even get a chance to take any pics of the food because we were starving.

Our server this evening was a very pleasant woman named Tiffany, and it's more than obvious why she's been here for fourteen years. She had me at "hello." She knows the menu and she had recommendations. This kind of attentive service "everything." Then came the food. Garlic bread, beet salad, chicken parmesan, and steak medallions. All done as they should have been. We'll see ya again soon. Thank you for the experience.

My party sat down at the bar and it did appear the majority of the people at the bar were also eating. The Bartender and At this point our server also was incredibly. She was so busy every single one of the bar seats was taken, and she did a fantastic job balancing all of it. Overall the food was an exceptional experience. For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The fact it was busy every single table full and the bar also being full and the manager still coming to ensure our satisfaction was what true hospitality is all about!! 100000% recommendations for this place and will be coming back!

I ordered their Margarita pizza which was cooked perfectly. The sauce was very tasty and complemented the thin style crust which was crispy with a little char. I ordered the their Roo pizza to take home. If you like mushrooms, this hits that craving. They also offer some different brewey choices you might not find at mainstream pizzerias. It turns out that Leah works Sundays so i got to watch her in action. Her passion and attention to detail is exactly what i was looking for in a pizzeria. It was a pleasure for the Legend General to meet her and converse about her great pizza. It was a very nice atmosphere and good experience. It's Definitely worth the stop if your traveling through the area. I highly recommend Pizzaleah!

I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life. I've been to New York and tried a bunch of the famous spots,…read moreand they were really good. But I'm honestly not joking when I say I prefer Pizza Leah to anything I had there. I don't understand how they get the crust like this. It's perfectly chewy and just cooked exactly right. Usually I like the crust but don't love it. Here, I actually do love it. I've been here at least 15 times and I've tried pretty much everything on the menu. My two favorites are the Roo's and the Po-Tay-To. I love how the place is laid out. You can see into the kitchen, and the eating area is exactly what I think a pizza place should look like. It just feels comfortable. One time on my birthday, my wife picked up the pizza and didn't realize that they gave her the wrong one until she got home. She called and went back to get the right one, and when she got there they had forgotten to remake it, so she had to wait. She was honestly pretty mad at that point after making two trips, which I don't blame her for at all. But they were so apologetic that they ended up giving us the pizza for free, and that honestly made up for everything and turned it into a really nice surprise. She got over it pretty quickly after that. Funny enough, it worked out as two trips for two pizzas, and my birthday is 2/2. Now whenever I eat pizza anywhere else, I end up comparing it to Pizza Leah. Other places have good pizza, but this one just checks every single box for me. It just is the perfect pizza for me.

The last time we tried…read moreto eat here was on a weekend around 6 PM, there was a 2 hour wait, so we ended up going somewhere else. Pizzando is a small and cozy restaurant with limited indoor seating, so this time we came early on a Wednesday around 5:30 PM to try to get seated right away. The hostess initially tried to put our group of 4 outside in 50 degree weather, but she managed to combine 2 tables so we could sit inside, which we really appreciated. You could tell she was stressed even though there was only one person in line ahead of us, but I think it might be because they handle a lot of online/takeout orders and she was constantly running around. They may be a bit understaffed(?), which would explain it. She was working hard, but the quality of service felt a little affected. We ordered the calamari appetizer, focaccia bread, beet salad, and 2 pizzas. I would probably order everything again if I came back. The calamari is not what you might expect, it's not battered and crispy but chewy and served in a delicious sauce with a nice kick from the shishito peppers, as shown in my photo. We ended up dipping the focaccia in the leftover sauce and loved it. The beet salad was light and refreshing, a good contrast to all the carbs coming our way. The pizza was great and I especially loved the margherita. You can really taste the quality in the mozzarella, and the dough was fluffy and chewy. Overall, the food was excellent, but I would give the ambiance a 3/5. Our waitress was fine but a little clumsy, and she asked to clear our plates a few times when we were still clearly eating... There were also tiny little flying bugs that kept hovering around our table. They wer SUPER tiny, even smaller than fruit flies but clustered together, and we had to keep swatting them away from our food. I am not sure if this is a regular thing or if it was just because we were seated near the door and they flew in, but it was a nuisance for sure.

Pizzando - Healdsburg…read more Healdsburg was quiet that afternoon. One restaurant had just closed, another bagel shop locked its doors early while someone scrubbed the counters inside. We were hungry and out of options, so we wandered into Pizzando. It looked decent enough. We sat outside next to the the sidewalk, by the street, half enjoying the Sonoma sun, half fighting off flies and truck noise. The fig and blue cheese pizza sounded like something crafted with intent...pancetta, blue cheese, ricotta, arugula, pear, balsamic. Forty-five minutes later, it showed up missing the pancetta. The server shrugged, wandered off, and returned with a plate of cubed pancetta like it was some kind of peace offering. We topped the pizza ourselves. It wasn't bad...sweet, salty, creamy...but the rhythm was off. The focaccia showed up late, the pacing sloppy, the whole experience just slightly out of tune. They knocked two bucks off the bill, a gesture as thin as the crust. Pizzando isn't terrible. It's just the kind of place that reminds you how fragile a good meal is...how easily it can all go sideways when the kitchen forgets what's supposed to be on the pizza. We won't be back.
