Located inside of the station. We opted to grab something to eat before our train ride back to London. Long line but moved fairly quickly. We ended up getting some croissants and sandwich. Croissants tasted good but the sandwich was ok.

I really liked this Paul when you're waiting for the Eurostar. The apple tart was so good. The hot chocolate was really strong and chocolaty. It wasn't watered down. You can grab your snacks and sit by the window to see the trains. They're really busy because there aren't too many options in the Eurostar station part of Gare Du Nord, but they're really fast, so you don't wait a long time.

Second location that I've been to (first was close to the louvre) and I got a pain au chocolat, a savoureaux sandwich and a chocolate hazelnut muffin. Sandwich was tasty with salami, cornichons and butter. The bread was a little tough but tasty. Pain au chocolat was not as good as the fresh one I had at their other location but still better than Starbucks and the muffin was alright. I think I was disappointed because it said Nutella and I was expecting Nutella and didn't get any. Either I didn't read right or they were trying to imitate Nutella with the chocolate and hazelnuts.

Only three stars given because of attitude from this one lady during our visit there as tourists who wanted to go there for lunch. The food was great and the eclairs were amazing...but when we asked for water this one lady reacted with a shocked face as if we offended her. She decided to stay passive-aggressive for the rest of our visit at the restaurant. Spoke little to us because maybe she could not really speak English which is fine but just had a look of passive aggressiveness we had to interact with her. Four stars because they had enjoyable food and atmosphere. Minus one because there are other places with the same quality of food and better staff attitudes.

Why 5 stars? Because we badly need this in America. --- --- --- We saw Paul locations all over London but never got a chance to pop in to one, so when we noticed a Paul kiosk at a train station, we wanted to take advantage of it. I ordered a quiche, not because it's a go-to breakfast item for me, but for a totally random reason. Because my dad is weird with words, he has used "quiche" to describe someone who is being a wuss about something. It's been like that for my entire life, so "quiche" has a completely different meaning to me than any other person on Earth outside of my immediate family. But funny enough, I'm not sure if I'd actually ever had a quiche before, so this seemed like a good time to start. It turns out, a good quiche is delicious! It will no longer be associated in my mind with my dad's weird word-swapping. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was wonderful. It was on a baguette, but the bread was so much softer than other baguette's we had in Paris, and had a great flavor too. Paul is another regional chain that could definitely make a killing in America - I hope it happens one day!

Great for lunch brunch or breakfast before grabbing a train. I had a delicious chicken sandwich, coffee and macaron. Nothing spectacular about it, but it satisfied me and was a fair price. Highly recommend that chicken sandwich and stopping here if you're in the station.

Stopped in for breakfast before departing Gare du Nord. The fresh juice is delicious and a perfect start to the day. The latte and croissant were not the best I had in town, but they were still good. I would go back to this place.

She told me I needed to get the pain au chocolat as they tend to run out. I got myself the ham and tomato thing as well as a big log covered in chocolate. I ate what I got on my flight back to LA. My friend was right. They make good stuff. I have to commend the person working. She was literally the only person out there. It was quite busy and she had her hands full

Upon entering the bakery, I was greeted by the aroma of butter and the sight of neat rows of fresh pastries. I really wanted to try one of everything, but I was determined to try the pain au chocolat, a personal favorite. Le Grenier a Pain's pain au chocolat was much larger and heartier than others I've tried yet retained its buttery-flakiness without feeling too heavy. I really enjoyed the pillowy texture of the pain au chocolat, which included a generous amount of chocolate folded inside. Paired with a cafe au lait, I was in heaven. The bakery is small yet inviting, and there was no seating indoors or outdoors. While I was hoping to enjoy my pastry on-the-go, it started pouring outside, so I was forced to huddle underneath the awning while I consumed my pain au chocolat. While I'd definitley come back for another pain au chocolat, I would also want to sample their savory pastries on my next visit.

We sat on the second floor but there is seating in the passage way as well. They do have wine in addition to coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. We tried the pistachio tart, the acrulier (like a fancier Ferrero rocher) and Kalingo (a chocolate cake). I had the gunpowder green tea while my sister had the hot chocolate. I honestly liked their hot chocolate more than the one at Angelina. It was rich but not chalky and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pistachio tart was the best one we've ever had and revived our spirits after a long day of walking. You pay downstairs and credit cards are accepted.
