While I prefer the outside patio seating area at Starbucks, Pret here has a nice selection of seating and beverages. The food selection seemed poor even though I visited in the middle of the afternoon, there were no gluten-free items other than salad, and no hot food/soup. The staff seemed friendly enough, however, prices were reasonable too. It opens later and closes early than Starbucks and other places nearby too, the opening hours are limited. There are several restaurants and businesses nearby - all appearing to serve locals. In any case, they have a great selection of pastries and breads. Everything looks scrumptious. We tried several pastries over a few visits. They have several raspberry pastries that are fresh and fantastic. A few almond pastries that were also tasty. There's a good mix of cakes and tarts. Their coffees were also good. We sat outside a they have seating for around 15-20 people - and on a nice night, they do get busy. A lot of people walking in just to get their baguette for the next morning. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth your while to stop by. You will be pleasantly surprised.
