There are several restaurants and businesses nearby - all appearing to serve locals. In any case, they have a great selection of pastries and breads. Everything looks scrumptious. We tried several pastries over a few visits. They have several raspberry pastries that are fresh and fantastic. A few almond pastries that were also tasty. There's a good mix of cakes and tarts. Their coffees were also good. We sat outside a they have seating for around 15-20 people - and on a nice night, they do get busy. A lot of people walking in just to get their baguette for the next morning. If you're in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth your while to stop by. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Executing Palmier appropriately, though the Pear Tart is fairly mundane, fans of Choux will find Maison Julien's Religeuse offering a clean break to fluffy insides filled with delicate Coffee Cream that is not overly sweet.

We stayed at an Airbnb nearby, so we came here to get breakfast every morning!

Talk about great timing, by the time we sat down and looked outside, a huge line had already wrapped down the sidewalk. The decor is beautiful and timeless, pure classic French elegance with the chandeliers, mirrors, and gilded details. We were seated upstairs on the second floor, which gave us a lovely, relaxed vantage point away from the entrance rush. We ordered their breakfast set, which came loaded with two flaky croissants, fresh baguette with butter and jams, two eggs Benedict, fresh juice, and, of course, their legendary chocolat chaud africain. That hot chocolate is as thick, rich, and velvety as advertised, almost like drinking liquid ganache. We also couldn't leave without ordering their famous chestnut Mont-Blanc pastry, which was silky, sweet, and totally lived up to the hype. Even though the dining room filled up quickly and was bustling, the staff was attentive, polished, and very efficient. Loved the entire experience from start to finish, an absolute treat!
