I've come to Ogle a handful of times not and have never had a negative experience! The front desk…read moregirls are kind and helpful! I went in for Bree Jones to do a trim, wash and style. She did so good and explained the products she was using in my hair. She gave me a few tips on how to manage by hair better as well! She took her time and we took some pictures afterwards and I absolutely loved it and got compliments throughout the day! Although I came in for Bree, the student in the station next to her, Dani, also greeted me which I found very pleasant! The next girl I came in to see was Zoey L for a 30 minute facial, a brow tent, and a 60 minute facial (all separate appointments). I felt so comfortable with Zoey, she's so kind and helpful. I left GLOWING! Ogle, you've got a great group of students!

I don't go to the students for chemical services like relaxers because I wear my natural texture…read more When I want it flat ironed straight I like going to Ogle. My tips to the stylist who worked with me today on what Ogle calls a "silk press" (wash, blow dry, flat iron) 1)start the process once your client is in the chair instead of just hanging out waiting for an instructor to sign a paper 2) ask your client what style before starting 3) don't simultaneously play and text on your phone when you're already pretty slow at each step. 4) speed and technique come with experience so pay attention to your client not your phone, Ogle is not high school. To the instructor at Arlington, try doing like the instructor at the Dallas locations and the location in Denton and INSTRUCT the students. Help them be successful. Good grief. I will not go back there.

A little unsure how to give the most accurate rating since it's a school not a professional salon…read more I came in with the understanding that they're still learning. The wait was longer than intended as they told me they were waiting on towels to dry. They hadn't been open that long yet so idk how they ran out but, okay. While the gentleman who did my hair was nice, he made me veryyy nervous. He kept talking about how they didn't teach him anything at his last school and would say oops when cutting... **To ALL hairstylist in school or not please don't ever say oops** Thats the last thing anyone wants to hear while they're in the chair. He also asked the teacher before making any move on my head (literally just a straight across cut and side swoop bang) which I appreciate so he didn't mess up but it as often as it happened it made me feel like he didnt know what he was doing at all. And when she would come and tell him what to do he'd have to ask me what she said because he forgot already...yeah Now the hair cut itself came out pretty decent for $8.50 only one strand ended up longer than the rest I noticed when I left, and it was only a bit choppy. But also check your receipt before paying as they had charged me almost double but fixed it when I said something. Also be prepared to be there for a while my very simple hair cut took about 2 hours total with a wash and cut..and price did include a dry but it would've been closer to 3 hours if I had waited, NOT TO MENTION my hair was practically dry by the time he finished as never sprayed it with a water bottle so half was cut wet and the other dry.

I called in the morning and the lady who answered the phone around 11 AM said all the beauticians were busy. I called back and she said that they were all still busy and there were 2 customers waiting? On a Tuesday morning? I just stayed home and popped my Stouffer's Cordon Blue Pasta in the oven and started watching Basketball Wives on my iPad. The dish was gonna take 85 minutes to bake so I wasn't gonna be able to make the morning hair clinic. I called again at 3 PM and found out they start taking clients at 5:30 PM. Mrs. Freddie is the evening teacher and she is a no nonsense person. I like that. She even recommended that I stop using Paul Mitchell's Shampoo One and switch to Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi. I bought some at Sally's Beauty Supply today. I have the utmost respect for her because she is a professional. She recommends and she speaks and carries herself in a professional, non ghetto manner. She is a breath of fresh air! She checks the students work as they progress.

My wife informed me of said event and her desires of hair length for the boy on Saturday evening. I was given my mission and I was expected to execute. Some of you know where I'm coming from. I called EClips, after many other barbers, and they told me to come on in even though it was getting close to the end of their business day. I didn't know that they are such a popular shop. The four of us waited for quite some time. Basically, they were trying to work us in. I think my son was about four years old at the time. They made him feel like a rockstar and there was no little guy haircut drama. By the time they got him in the chair. It was close to lock the front door time. They did not rush the process at all. My son is now six years old and we have been going to see Mr. Joe at EClips approximately once a month ever since. The shop is very close to UTA and there is a very diverse customer group. You will hear many different languages spoken. They offer hair products too. I use their gel and I think it is good stuff. Mr. Joe insist that what I consider to be my bald spot is not at all a bold spot. He told me that my hair looks the way it does because of the crown of my head and the way my hair lays. I don't know if that is good or not but my barber says I'm not bald and he isn't trying to up sale me on a balding treatment. Yes, I know my hair is thinning. EClips is great, give them a try.

The haircut I received was excellent but I'm still looking for a hot shave. Joe was very friendly.read more
