The haircut I received was excellent but I'm still looking for a hot shave. Joe was very friendly.

This barbershop has taken great care of my son and I. We found this shop out of necessity. My son needed a haircut on Saturday for an event on Sunday. My wife informed me of said event and her desires of hair length for the boy on Saturday evening. I was given my mission and I was expected to execute. Some of you know where I'm coming from. I called EClips, after many other barbers, and they told me to come on in even though it was getting close to the end of their business day. I didn't know that they are such a popular shop. The four of us waited for quite some time. Basically, they were trying to work us in. I think my son was about four years old at the time. They made him feel like a rockstar and there was no little guy haircut drama. By the time they got him in the chair. It was close to lock the front door time. They did not rush the process at all. My son is now six years old and we have been going to see Mr. Joe at EClips approximately once a month ever since. The shop is very close to UTA and there is a very diverse customer group. You will hear many different languages spoken. They offer hair products too. I use their gel and I think it is good stuff. Mr. Joe insist that what I consider to be my bald spot is not at all a bold spot. He told me that my hair looks the way it does because of the crown of my head and the way my hair lays. I don't know if that is good or not but my barber says I'm not bald and he isn't trying to up sale me on a balding treatment. Yes, I know my hair is thinning. The environment was nice the guy was kind to but the quality of the haircut was not that good the guy that cut my hair didn't fade nice I asked for an taper and textured fringe but he did an high taper with an Edgar and the fade he did was patchy which I didn't like he tried to fix it but didn't do that good of an job wouldn't recommend read more

This is a straight forward shop. Guys if you need a quick haircut and it actually comes out good then this is your spot. I believe there are 4-5 barbers here but I go to Joe. He's the first chair to your right when you walk in. He's a good barber and we have good talks while he cuts. He moved to DFW from the NY/NJ area. Joe does an awesome job with fades, tappers and scissor cuts. Joe also does well with facial shaves. The only thing that may deter someone from coming here is the walk in system they choose to use rather than the appointment scheduling. The barber would not listen, I told him I wanted a buzz cut same length all around I had to correct him multiple times because he would not listen I'm not sure if it was the language barrier or whatever but the worst part is the atrocious "line up" he gave me he pushed back one edge of my hair and under cut the other I then asked him to fix it and he agreed but he didn't make it any more even instead he made it worse not only that but I specifically told him I won't be combing my hair back because it is a BUZZ CUT and he then proceeded to comb my hair back and leave the top of my head completely uneven in length to my sides going against litterally everything I asked him to do whatever you do DO NOT GO TO THIS GOD FORESAKEN BARBER SHOP read more

We decided to try this barber shop after reading all the good reviews. I think your experience is very dependent upon the person you get. We had the youngest barber there. He seemed to understand what we wanted but that was definitely not the end result. There was no fade whatsoever. What we got was a 0 undercut-we were definitely disappointed as we saw all the other patrons leaving with fantastic cuts. No sense in complaining bc you can't put hair back...we just politely said thank you and left. read more

the worst barber I've went too ususallt when I go to other barbers they just shave off the little hairs on the side but ayman decided to count it as a beard and charge me 50$ for it never going again and I encourage everyone not to go either and the cut itself is not worth more than 10$ he should quit this job it isn't for him read more

I'm very skeptical about switching barbers, but the reviews on this place was too good to pass up so I gave them a try! It was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but I got through and paid within 30 mins! Which is amazingly fast!! This isn't how you spell it, but he said it was the closest to how to pronounce his real name "knife" he's the last chair in the back. I was amazed by his style of cutting! It was fast and precise and he did it exactly how I wanted it and he even made a suggestion about how to style my hair! Which I thought was very helpful since I don't know much about hairstyles! One thing that caught my eye while I was waiting for my turn, is that everyone got up and loved their cut! Everyone left with a big smile and a matter of fact I ended up doing the same! I checked out this place on Yelp and read good things about this place and about their main guy JOE. Well let me tell you that my first visit turned out to be my last visit to this god awful place. The guy JOE cant differentiate between a low fade, and a mid fade. Even though there was a big picture in a frame with a mid fade haircut. I asked him for a mid fade and he gave me a high fade, and that too was NOT PROPERLY BLENDED. I then continued to make the worst mistake of getting my beard done from this place. My hair constantly kept getting caught in their machines causing little bruises and cuts. The guy had never used a straight razor in his life. He gave me razor cuts near my ear and on my cheeks. I paid 32$( beard fade, hair fade and shampoo)for this hellish experience. Next time i will surely go anywhere else but this place. Made me regret every penny i spent there. We checked the reviews, but I'm telling you right now, the reviews don't add up to the service. I asked for a edge up and he didn't even edge me up. My fade is not faded at all. Plus on top of that he added his own style to my hair, that I don't appreciate. My brothers beard was cut uneven and he also didn't get an edge up.
