Upon scheduling the appointment, I was called back the same afternoon, informing me that my appointment needed to be moved because of snow that is forecasted. I was told that my appointment would be moved to the next available slot, some 3 hours later. Nevermind that once someone gives me a scheduled appointment time, a couple of things need to happen. 1. I have to schedule the time off of work, because like the vast majority of Americans, I have to work in order to survive. 2. I then move other appointments around so that I can accomodate this new appointment. When an appointment is rescheduled, I then have to go back and redo things all over again, and feel like an idiot having to change the time that I schedule off of work. All of this is bad enough, but when the very next day I am contacted to reschedule my appointment again, I have to draw the line. If patients cannot be accomodated, and expect to be seen when they are told they will be, then something needs to change. The receptionists hung up on me twice, and were giggling in the background while I was explaining my frustrations with them. Today, I am a feeling astonished. I have always spoke highly of this clinic, and today I was given a clear picture of what unprofessionalism looks like. As I mentioned before, I have never recieved anything less than stellar service from this location before. It appears that they have some new staff members, and it is a shame to see this clinic become what it has.

Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

My…read moreprevious orthopedic surgeon had put me in a brace and said that it looked great every time I had an office visit and they took an x-ray and said to come back in another couple of weeks for another check up. My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! I cannot say enough about the quality of care from all of the staff from the front desk to the schedulers, the MA's and of course Dr DeLaRosa....everyone at OCC went above and beyond for my care and still does!

Just this Thursday, I went to see Andrea for severe abdominal pain. They did their best to get me into a CT scan same day and when they couldn't, sent me straight to the ER. Within 3 hours I was having my gallbladder removed and home by 11pm. Had we waited, it could well have ruptured over the weekend and become critical. Many practices would have just given me pain meds and sent me on my way for a follow up scan somewhere. This is just one of over 30 years worth of positive experiences and excellent care provided to my entire family. If you want good doctors that will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear and that truly care about your long term health, you will find the best of care here. If you are a fussy impatient 20 something looking for "boutique" medicine, don't bother these fine people.

I asked the girl why did they wait so long to call and she then replied VERY RUDELY "it's your insurance and you should've known this!!" My copayment is what I was expecting, and to spring an almost 400 bill on someone the day of a procedure is unacceptable for any medical office. To TOP it off the person that was giving the information was ridiculous about the whole situation. I work in the medical(Parker Adventist), dental field and that is NOT okay on any level. I highly recommend him and his colleagues at OCC from the moment of entering their office to x-rays to cast application and removal.

I was prescribed a statin, but warned by the pharmacy not to take it with my mood stabilizer. This place has a list of my medication's which I guess Dr. Jackson couldn't read too well.... got tired of seeing her and a doctor with the first name of Brock and I've never gotten a "have a nice day" it's always "your released" very rude and non-compassionate. My PCP is listed as Dr. Gieseke I tried to make an appointment with her to get a medication refill. But the rude front desk said she's not accepting new patients. I'm not a new patient. She's been my PCP for years. The withdrawal symptoms from this medication can be deadly If not tapered down gently. Just burnt out on this whole ordeal. I'm battling prostate cancer I just feel like compassion from the doctors should be a given, but I guess I was wrong
