Dishonest about being in network provider. Receptionist was rude. A waste of time and misleading.

I have a mild pacifistic personality, and Dr. Jackson took advantage of that she confused one of my medication's and when I tried to correct her, she aggressively expressed displeasure... I was prescribed a statin, but warned by the pharmacy not to take it with my mood stabilizer. This place has a list of my medication's which I guess Dr. Jackson couldn't read too well.... got tired of seeing her and a doctor with the first name of Brock and I've never gotten a "have a nice day" it's always "your released" very rude and non-compassionate. My PCP is listed as Dr. Gieseke I tried to make an appointment with her to get a medication refill. But the rude front desk said she's not accepting new patients. I'm not a new patient. She's been my PCP for years. The withdrawal symptoms from this medication can be deadly If not tapered down gently. Just burnt out on this whole ordeal. I'm battling prostate cancer I just feel like compassion from the doctors should be a given, but I guess I was wrong read more

Made my first visit today for chronic migraines and some other female concerns. I saw Dr. Speirs who was very professional and kind, she assisted me well and I felt all my concerns were addressed, all my questions were answered! The residents here are so loving and so so well taught, I was very impressed! Dr. Shauna Kelly is one of my favorites as she always cares so much for her patients and colleagues.(: The front desk ladies were also very helpful and sweet! Will be back again soon! read more

Bad customer service- bad management- bad communication. Staff is awful tried three times to go back and give another chance and all three times were a disaster. Doctors are great but not worth the fight with the staff to get to them. read more

I have been hesitant to write a review but, like others have commented here and elsewhere, my experience is mixed. I cannot over emphasize that I am extremely happy with the doctors, notably Dr. Ide, and couldn't ask for any better treatment for various issues. However, getting approval for prescription refills is unacceptably slow. I have been out of my medication for FOUR DAYS and it looks like it could be yet another day. When I call to ask them for a status they are rude and unconcerned. This is not the first time this has happened. Maybe they don't read these reviews but I can't understand why this is acceptable - especially in medical office. read more

I've been going to this practice since my early adulthood (around 2010) and it has changed much since then. It used to be a smaller practice, with three doctors, Dr. Gieseke, Dr. Trawick, and one other. I used to see Dr. Trawick as my primary, and had an excellent experience with her. About three years ago, the practice changed to be under HealthOne. Dr Gieseke now oversees the office, which has several residents working under her. I've seen Drs. Bayham and Bogart since the change, and have had a good experience. Would still recommend this practice, as well as the HealthOne hospitals they are affiliated with - Medical Center of Aurora and Sky Ridge. read more

I recently called this family practice and was placed on 4 minutes hold. Which was fine. After the receptionist returned to the phone. I was informed it was closed, on a Friday, at 0900. And the receptionist quickly stated to try my call again., as if, she was the answering service. Before I could get a word in the call was disconnected... The person answering the phone was very rude and unprofessional. So, I called again. The same person answers the phone and refused to provide there name. So I asked to speak with management. After sharing my concerns with Andrea in management, she tells me quickly our people are professional and would never answer the phones like that. I told her well it happened, and it was very unprofessional. She quickly tells me, maybe I'm confusing there location with CornerStar family practice instead. I asked to speak someone else other than her. I explain to her, I only wanted to confirm my appointment time. So, I asked for corporate/owners name. Then she quickly changed her tone. I made an appointment for my husband a day prior to my appointment and they never scheduled his appointment time. So I would like to think Andrea, for the referral to CornerStar clinic. They appear to have -STAR RATING!!! Why would I place my time and care in the hands of a bunch of idiots. I wouldn't there have them answering my phones. Dr G was absolutely wonderful. She was my PCP for over a decade. Unfortunately the office has gone downhill. I don't know if it's the administrative staff or what but it's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. The last several times I've needed refills on medications I've had to call multiple times, and still was unable to get them. The pharmacist had the same complaint. I ended up finding another PCP. Save yourself the trouble, find a physicians office that treats you well. read more

We have seen both Dr. Trawick and Dr. Gieseke in this practice, though our usual is Dr. Trawick. She sees our whole family and has been absolutely awesome. When I was having problems with my pregnancy she was supportive and kind the whole way through. Many doctors would have told me to think again about getting pregnant (I'm not a small girl and for some reason to some doctors this means I should never breed or plain won't be able to) and was helpful with a referral once I was. Once our son was born she detected issues and acted on them accordingly. Because of her care and timeliness we were able to avoid further problems, had his medical issues not been addressed. Dr. Trawick is a wealth of information but will also tell you if she feels that your issue is out of her scope. It seems that she knows someone in the area for something and the few referrals we have gotten (including our sons pediatric cardiologist) have been terrific. I really like, and more importantly, TRUST her and the individuals in the office. They take the time to make sure your needs are met and treat YOU not just your symptoms. It truly is a family clinic! We are very happy with the care we have had and even though we have moved out of the Aurora area we still travel to see her. read more

Shout it loud, shout it proud - I LOVE MY DOCTOR!!! I see Ann Trawick, DO and she's the most caring and kind doctor I've ever had. She is very down to earth, listens to every concern, and spends a lot of time with me (and I'm healthy). She doesn't perform unnecessary lab work, and always talks about my options. Love her! Oh, and isn't a medicine pusher...one of the reasons I prefer DO's. If you don't know what a DO is...Google it. The assistants are absolutely wonderful also. Funny, caring and make me feel very comfortable. I'm a nervous nelly and the thought of being somewhere that in some location on the premises there is a shot/needle, it terrifies me. I've had my blood drawn and they always find my little veins right away...haven't even fainted at this place (and I'm a fainter...ie. wuss). Samples have been provided when needed. Also, one time I was in between insurance and having a minor emergency (in my mind)...they had me come right in and just charged me a flat fee, that wasn't very much. Have I mentioned I love this place? I've also seen Dr. Trawick once and she was an absolute delight. read more

Wow! I feel extremely lucky that I happened upon this practice. (Note: Moved to Denver in Oct. 2012 and hadn't found an OB/GYN yet...) I'm 37wks pregnant now, but when I was only about 7wks along I wanted to find an office that would confirm it for us and the first few places I called said they needed to wait until I was 12 weeks... And I could not wait, I'm not a patient person. Anyway, I set up an appointment with Dr. Gregory and she is amazing! She's very cool and easy to talk to. I never feel dumb asking the millions of questions that I have for her each visit. The office is nice and small, very clean and the staff friendly. Plus the office is basically attached to the hospital so that's super convenient. I highly recommend Dr. Gregory, and I know that she'll be my baby's doctor once she's here. read more

I couldn't be more disappointed with my experience at Cornerstone Family Practice. I had two visits with them and paid my bill in full after each visit. Since then, I have received monthly bills from them. I contacted the office and the billing agency and neither organization had any interest in resolving the situation, they just pointed fingers at each other. The person at the office told me to ignore the bills since I had already paid them. I continue to receive letters that my bill is due and that my bill will go to collections. I just called the office again and told them that if they don't stop sending me bills I will contact the Better Business Bureau. The women on the phone did not seem to care and offered that I could leave a voicemail for the office manager. It is sad that our healthcare system in the United States treats customers like this. read more

Horrible wait times seeing doctor 1 hour after appointment time. Very quick to cancel and charge if you are late. Rotating Dr. never familiar faces. Filling up waiting room and calling in patience out of order. Very frustrating looking for a new Dr. after 16 years with Gieseke very disappointed but change is needed. read more

As long as Dr Trawick was practicing at this office, you could not have ask for better service or care. Now that Dr Trawick has left the practice, things have changed. I went in for a back injury after falling on the ice and happen to talk to Dr Gregory about a lot of sinus pressure. I was amazed and very disappointed when after paying my copay, I received a bill in the mail for the same visit. After speaking with billing, I was informed each doctor can bill as he or she sees fit. After 61/2 with this practice, I am leaving the practice and looking for a new physician., Dr Trawick will be sorely missed read more

I had a terrible experience after seeing one of the residents. I went in for a wellness check up for my 16 month old. The resident had very poor bedside manner and in my opinion, he was extremely rude and abrasive. My son has been in the 99 percentile range since he was born so I really haven't been concerned about his size. But, the first thing he said when he sat down, was " he is large." Well, ok? He recommended that I not give my 16 month old baby any dairy products (he showed me a picture from an article of people protesting dairy?) as "babies don't need dairy." He reached in my purse and criticized the size of the sippy cup my son was drinking from. I was so thrown off about the way he was treating and talking to me, I left in tears.m. He talked very down to me as if I knew nothing. The receptionist took me to the back room and talked to me (which was so needed) and I voiced my concerns. I had concerns about my son's congestion and his recommendation was that I trial Claritin for 2 months to see if it is allergies? Give him allergy medicine for 2 months every day? Absolutely ridiculous. He was not helpful and completely judgmental before even really knowing anything about the history of my child or asking questions. The residents seeing patients need to have more supervision/management or at least learn how to talk to patients. I have never experienced anything like it and I absolutely do not trust them in providing good care. read more
