Alpine Family Practice has been the best choice we made in healthcare since our previous family doctor left his private practice for a corporate practice and then retired. Dr. Quinn has been solid for me and my husband over the past few years. He effectively communicates with each of us any issues or concerns. We are relatively healthy people, but those times we need to make an appointment, we are able to get onto their schedule in a reasonable timeframe. We also like that this is a practice is locally owned and managed and is not associated with big corporate healthcare companies. read more

Dr. Quinn Lichfield doesn't treat you like another number. He remembers details of his patients. He has a way to make you understand why or what your body needs to be healthy. He doesn't hide what side effects may or may not happen taking certain meds. Staff is always pleasant and don't make you feel that we are bothering or wasting their time. read more

I was recommended through my insurance to their website. They were listed. Made the appointment and everything. Then I go there and get a rapid Covid test, and then they tell me afterward that they don't take my insurance after all, and would have to charge me over $100 for my visit if I choose to have it. A simple appointment. I declined, and was still charged $21 for the Covid test. I could've gotten a rapid one for free elsewhere. What a waste of time and what little money I have. Just goes to show: always make painstakingly sure of all the details before you go somewhere. Next time I'll have to make absolutely sure a doctor takes my specific kind of insurance. read more

They will only see if you have an appointment. I've been a patient for years and if I'm having any trouble and I need a same day appointment, you have to wait. It's not until you threaten to go somewhere else that an "appointment time is now available." read more

I've been a patient for Dr. Quinn for more than 7 years. Through the years I've observed that his staff don't make things easy. Especially the receptionist treats you with an attitude. It's important to have access directly to the physician so I decided to call him directly today, just to find out that two receptionist members were rude to me and one of them did hung up on me. I've came to him as referral but the one that referred left Dr Quinn's office for the same reason. Over the years I also referred other patients to Dr. Quinn. I have no problems with his own attention. He is a fine physician and good doctor, except his staff. They are awfully rude. How much Dr Quinn and his wife have lost due trusting their staff? And also a big inconvenience to us the patients. read more

Dr. Dena Job Lichfield is awesome! I hadn't been to the doctor in quite some time, so I scheduled a full physical. It was definitely complete. Though never a comfortable or fun experience, it wasn't that bad. She explained everything, called in a few weeks to let me know all tests came back normal, and was friendly and knowledgeable (all things you normally want in your physician). Rooms are very clean, front staff are very helpful. My only critique is that they didn't say my insurance might not cover some aspects of the blood work, so a few months later I randomly got a legitimate bill from LabCorp. When I switched insurance, Dr. Dena was delegated as my new primary care, I was a little hesitant to establish care here but I'm glad I did. Her and her assistant are so sweet and thorough, I feel like I'm finally getting the care that I need. read more

On March 23, 2021 I came in to get some blood work done so I could get my thyroid prescription filled and also needed my birth control filled. The lab test results came back and it showed there was a change in my levels, so I was given a new 30-day prescription and Bri told me to come in "3-4 days" before my prescription was out to provide bloodwork to make sure everything was OK. I came in April 21st and I informed the staff and the nurse that I only had medication through Saturday. After not hearing anything about my lab results by Friday 4/23/2021, I called at 3 PM and was told that they should have the lab results by 5pm that day. No one called me back. Sunday, I spent the majority of my day in bed feeling horribly nauseated, light headed, and fatigued, waking up Monday feeling even worse. I received a call from Bri on Monday morning at 8:45 AM, and when I was trying to explain to her what had happened she spent most of her time talking over me and didn't offer an apology for the lack of communication and the fact that I was now ill. She said she would call in my prescription "now." I called my pharmacy at 9:30am to confirm my prescription had been called in and they told me they did not get a call. I called back and spoke with Angela and told her I need my prescription as soon as possible and I reiterated I was feeling quite ill. She put me on hold and said they did call it in and that it's a pharmacy issue. I asked why I wasn't getting an apology and she said "I apologize we called in your prescription and they didn't get it". It gets worse. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and after I left, I found out they called in the wrong dosage, which I had taken at this point. Alarmed I called Dr. Lichfield and got her on the phone. I was horriblyn disappointed because she, like staff,  spoke over me, and  completely dismissed the concerns I had about the way I had been treated and the multiple errors concerning my prescription. I again found myself begging for an apology while Dr. Lichfield laughed at me while I was expressing my concerns. When I pointed out she was laughing, she insisted she wasn't. Just like her staff, unprofessional and no accountability. She questioned why I would feel ill after only missing 1 dose of my medication instead of addressing why my prescription wasn't called in when I was told it was and why the wrong dosage was called in. Instead of apologizing she apologized that "I felt that way". She then told me the correct dosage of my medication would be called into the pharmacy.  Bri called me back and left me a voice message yet again without an apology and said the "pharmacy should get it right this time". I spoke with my Pharmacy Manager and she said she Bri called her and told her she called in the wrong dosage. My Pharmacist told her that I had left with the wrong dosage, but yet again, there didn't seem to be any concern shown by Dr. Lichfield or her staff. My Pharmacist said she was "appalled" and what I had to deal with that day from Dr. Lichfield's office. My Doctor's office should be the LAST place to treat me or anyone that way. I should feel safe and should feel like I can trust the Doctor and Medical staff. But if I call them and tell them I am ill because they didn't call in my prescription, there should be an immediate concern and level of compassion shown by Doctors and staff. Never should there be cynicism, laughter, or a dismissal of what that patient is going through. Unfortunately I experienced all of that. I will be getting a second opinion from another Doctor on my medication dosage. I am concerned it's wrong. read more

I have loved the doctors and the nurses up until this point. They are so friendly but since they have changed the desk staff i cant seem to get a call back from the doctor regarding the ER visit i had nearly a month ago. They pulled the hospital records and claim they dont have record of the ER visit. Great doctors... Poor Customer Service/desk support. read more

Went in to make a new patient appointment this afternoon to find the girl in the front on her phone didn't care what so ever and continued to scroll through her phone like if patients weren't in the waiting area the other gal was fairly sweet and was able to answer my questions will be giving them a try but I hope the patient care is as good as the phone usage read more

Dr. Dena Lichfield is a wonderful family physician. She has seen myself and my kids for several years now. She is the most thorough and caring doctor I've ever had. The staff is friendly, the office is clean and they go the extra mile for their patients. What a disappointment this practice is! A close friend recommended Dr. Quinn, so I scheduled an appointment for a physical. When I walked in, the office staff did not greet me or ask how I was. They immediately asked for my name, my ID cards and handed me paperwork to fill out. I shrugged it off - it was in fact a Monday and figured maybe they had a busy morning. After I gave them the completed paperwork, they told me about the co-pay which was apparently due before I saw the doctor. I asked if I can pay afterwards and the receptionists response was "Well, that's the rule. We've been doing it here for the past 20 years." I personally have never paid before seeing a doctor, ESPECIALLY for the first time seeing one. She then said that I had a choice to either pay first, or leave. I was a little taken aback about her suggestion and bad attitude. I asked if she would pay for something before getting treated, and she said "Yeah, if I trusted my doctor." I then mentioned that this would be my first time even meeting Dr. Quinn so then she must understand why paying beforehand makes zero sense. She then proceeded to tell me that I can go see another doctor if I wanted. Again, terrible attitude throughout the entire conversation. She then tried to explain to me that the amount was the co-pay and how my insurance pays for x amount and I am responsible for y amount. I then told her I understand what my co-pay is and how it works with office visits and then she asks me, "Oh, how then?" How incredibly rude! At this point, I am fed up and ask her why she is being so rude to a complete stranger. Another receptionist, then butts into our conversation and continues to explain how their rules work. I told her, again, that I understand their rules, however I do not agree with the unprofessionalism and tactless behavior these women are displaying. The one who asked me the question was obviously on some power trip, thinking she knew more than me by trying to challenge my intelligence and knowledge on the concept of a co-pay. I've never seen a display of such immaturity at any place of business. She should be embarrassed about her behavior. I finally got back to meet with Dr. Quinn, told him about the terrible experience I had with his office staff, he apologized, but I decided not to move forward since I felt so disrespected by these miserable women. He had to walk me to the desk and tell the woman to refund my payment. I looked at the reviews after the fact, and saw that most people had the same issue. Some people even found a new doctor because of how awful the office staff was. I am positive that Dr. Quinn/Alpine Family Practice will lose even more business and gain an even worse reputation if they don't do something about their office staff. Ideally, they really need to hire a whole new staff all together that shows some compassion and AT LEAST some professionalism/friendliness. Stay away from this practice unless you want to get bullied by office staff of miserable women who show zero courtesy, respect or manners. read more

I am truly disappointed with this doctor's office. I scheduled a first time visit for some problems I have been having. Dr. Dena and I went through my family and I medical history. I explained to her that 4 people in my immediate family had diabetes. And I have had problems with arthritis and major body pain. They took my blood for tests they were going to run. I got a call a week later saying I might have lupus. I was recommended to a rheumatologist. I went to the rheumatologist a month later and they ran tests on me. An hour after my appointment the doctor called and said my sugar blood level was 638!! And to go to the er immediately. I called Dr. Denas office and asked if they ran a blood test and they said no cause I didn't mark the box I was drinking a lot of water and urinating alot. I will admit I obviously was very mad. I could have went into shock and died. The doctor also said I only went into her office cause I was having problems with arthritis and she blamed me for her not doing her job!!! I didn't think I had to tell her to run a sugar blood test. Which I would think would be mandatory. I will never be back at this office and will be reporting them for neglect. The office receptionists at this location are some of the most incompetent individuals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I called to schedule an appointment for my husband, after being reassured by his adjuster that had spoken to them just a week prior, to set everything up. However, this was not the case. When I called I was repeatedly told that they don't accept workmen's compensation, even after I stated that his adjuster had just spoken with them and I had documentation to back it up. They just transferred me to another receptionist, who then told me the same thing but didn't offer to help. If they would've looked into or told me they would ask any of the other receptionists, I wouldn't be upset. However, during my conversations with the receptionists, they were rude and inconsiderate. I won't wish dealing with this office on my worse enemy. I'm don't know about the doctors or nurses but I would seriously consider the front of the house staff below standards. This is definitely something to consider when making appointments. I wish giving them a zero star was an option. read more

I saw Dr. Dena as a new patient. I had a physical, and then a separate appointment for a sick visit, during which I told her about three problems I was having. She addressed one of them, despite telling her that it was very difficult for me to miss work for medical appointments. She ordered a very expensive test, which I had done, which gave no useful information about my condition. When I called to get refills on my medications, which I have been taking for years, I was told that I would get a call back, which I never did. The front desk staff was extremely rude. I was told that I would need to schedule a separate appointment for each of my other problems, and to get my medication refills. My prior medical records showed that I have been taking these medications for years. If you have endless time and would like to spend it repeatedly calling the office to talk to a snotty receptionist, getting no response, and going to unnecessary visits, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go elsewhere. read more
