Dena was delegated as my new primary care, I was a little hesitant to establish care here but I'm glad I did.

I've had a really rough trimester and I'm on the verge of tears all the time. I went in and everyone was so kind and gentle. Dr Dawson did a full body scan and asked to take photos of a couple spots so she can monitor them. In the past, the dermatologists I've seen seemed pretty slice happy and cut a bunch of things right away. This doctor is going to monitor the spots over the next few months and see if they've changed. Now I feel taken care of and safe and I actually will go back for those follow-ups.

The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely kind--they make you feel comfortable and cared for right away. Dr. Brown is exceptional. Her credentials are impeccable and she came highly recommended by numerous other physicians. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to truly listen to concerns rather than rushing through appointments. She explains everything clearly, answers questions with patience, and makes sure you feel confident in your treatment plan. It's obvious that she truly cares about her patients and their outcomes. The level of care and attention to detail at Cherry Hills Dermatology is top-notch. I felt heard, respected, and well cared for, and the results speak for themselves. My wife is also a patient at the practice and very pleased with her treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and the entire team to anyone looking for a dermatological surgeon they can trust for cancer care--you won't be disappointed.

The doctor that does the initial skin screening is terrific, informative, and professional, she is the only reason I continue to seek care here. If you need surgery, well, that is a whole different story. The doctor, sorry, surgeon (he will correct you! !) is arrogant and does not appreciate having to "fight wrong expectations all day long". Now as a patient, I thought I was seeking out his expertise and knowledge, so if my expectations are wrong, isn't on him to explain things more clearly me on a subject I know nothing about. The other surgeon that does the closing procedure was even more terrifying. I have never had so many black and blues from stitches. She was pulling and tugging so hard that at one point I thought she would but her leg on my chair for more leverage. As the tears ran down my face, she tugged and pulled on. The incision was on the top of my ear, but my black and blues included all of my ear and all the way down my neck to the collar bone. It was also more than a little concerning that she had her entire mask completely tucked under her chin for the procedure, mouth breathing on my open wound. By luck alone, I do not have an infection. So, proceed with caution and good luck.

As she was walking me out, she told me she was not going to charge me for the bump removal on this visit - GREAT right? NOT. I was billed for the procedure, granted it was not a lot but the principal of it. When I called to discuss with the billing dept., it was to say the least frustrating. When I told them the doc did not do the procedure, that he left the room and a girl came in to do it, she says "I don't know who that could have been", as if I made it up. I did NOT come up with what I was told and was made to feel as if I just wanted out of a bill - NOT the case. Next time (not at this office though) I will get what someone tells me in writing and will not leave until everyone if aware of what is expected for billing. I can no longer recommend this facility. They used to be good but feel they have lost touch with caring for their patients. Growing too big is a thing.....

They offered an appointment with the PA an hour later, but I need to get to work so I declined. I expressed that no one told me about the 15 minutes early rule, and was told they left me a VM. They did not. I SPOKE with the receptionist the day before because I answered his reminder call, and was only told the time and location. I told them I would reschedule, even though I planned on just finding another office to go to. THEN I received a VM that I was unable to see the doctor in the future because I was "late." (I WASN'T) and that I would need to see the PA for further appointments. How unprofessional. And no apology for wasting my time either. There are a million derms in Denver, go elsewhere.
