Zero stars if I could. The sloppiest doctors that I have ever encountered. Gave my two month old infant the wrong vaccine after careful discussion with our provider about which vaccine was going to be administered. Gave a vaccine not approved for infants this young. Didn't bother to try to tell me about the error until a week later and then left a cryptic voicemail and wouldn't return my calls for days to confirm what had happened. Truly disgusting behavior from professionals entrusted with caring for infants and children. Take your children to this practice at your own risk. The above applies especially to Dr. Gaby who was our pediatrician through this incident. read more

There is no one else I would trust with our child's care. The approach of the doctors is thorough and the perfect blend of medical and holistic home remedy, and that just works so well with our family. We've been seen both at the old Jasmine office location and the new Belcaro location. At both, the office has been welcoming and friendly. The staff are always happy and kind. Our most favorite providers have been Dr. Gabby and Dr. Lisa, but we've not seen anyone that I'd actively avoid. I love Partners in Peds and, more importantly, so does my kiddo. read more

We have been with Partners in Pediatrics since 2007. Both our boys have grown up with Dr Rubin. He is amazing (and often requested, so you need 3 months notice for a check up appt with him). We have been fortunate to have pretty healthy guys and have not gone to the office often, but when we have and cannot see Dr. Rubin, we have been pleased with all other staff. Dr Rubin has been a guiding force in our parenting and medical decisions. He has helped us from day one in our confidence in making decisions as parents. We love that PIP provides parents with a book to help make decisions about illnesses and treatment. We love that they promote the use of traditional medicine AND homeopathic and other natural remedies. We drive from NW Denver to our appointments because we could not be happier or consider switching. read more

Modern, westernized, one size fits all approach to treatment. Don't be fooled; they are FAR from being anywhere near holistic. The practice in all is unprofessional and rude. They continue to tell us to go to the ER rather than being seen for a well-check. It is sad to see a practice go down along with their reputation when they can do better. They will report you to child services if you do not abide by their recommendations and if you do not follow the CDC vaccination schedule. Please be careful. Hate to post negative when the doctors are so good. But the billing staff is always rude and has no clue what's going on. I haven't been able to pay online for several months and have to pay over the phone. They just ignore me and nothing gets fixed. I figured out on my own how to get around the broken payment system and Tasha had the audacity to call me back after I posted a successful payment. Always responsive and helpful, we have had our 3 kids with Partners in Pediatrics since we moved from Chicago 12 years ago. The front end people are very helpful and if you need a call back they will ensure you get one. We've always had great responsiveness on weekends and out of hours although that has become less urgent as our kids have grown. We have never felt like we needed another opinion unless they provided us with a referral. With Partners in Pediatrics you are in good hands. read more

Daughters 4 month appointment and they tell me my insurance doesn't cover her after I drove 35 minutes in traffic to get there. The chick at the front is talking on the phone with someone about how I owe money in front of other patients. They claim they called my wife on the phone one time in January but we have no record of that, for some reason they did not call my number tell me to contact my insurance, as my name is the one on the account not my wifes. So basically they were I guess trying to let 760$ get billed without telling me about it. I called my insurance company and squared everything away but the unprofessionalism at this office was astounding. And when my daughter got her shots the nurse was less than gentle. we wont be back. If your kid is born at Rose these doctors seem nice but do yourself a favor and find one you want. read more

I took my children there for less than four months. Yes, perhaps I'm a doctor snob but only because I expect doctors to listen and to do their job well when it comes to my children. Simply put - we didn't feel these things happened. I feel my questions and concerns were dismissed on one very scary occasion that landed us in the ER twice. We will not be back. What's worse, well not worse, but still bad - the billing department (and yes, we have insurance!). The manager was rude and condescending in my opinion. Just a very bad experience overall and I do not recommend them. I would give them zero stars if allowed. read more

I have to echo the same concerns that others have put on this site; you have to specifically request a doctor or you will probably get a physician's assistant. This can be troubling in my opinion if your child has anything going on other than a typical wellness check. If my child is sick, or if something doesn't look right during a wellness visit, I need the most qualified person available, i.e. an MD to provide me with advice and guidance. The other problem I have with them is that it is MY responsibility to remember when our children are due for a checkup. My personal primary care provider is at least proactive enough to call and remind me when I'm due for a checkup. I am myself a professional in a service based organization, and I can tell you it is not difficult to put a system in place to proactively call your clients when they are due for an appointment. We are in the process of finding a new pediatrician. read more

I was super bummed when I found out Dr.Ara was no longer your to be at the Jasmine office. I went back and saw on of the P.A's but it wasn't the same. Originally in 2013 we used to see Dr. Jerry and hadn't seen him for like 2 years. Before I was going to switch I wanted to see if Dr. Jerry. THANK GOD for Dr. Jerry. He is great. He talks to your child and you. He educates you on what he is doing and why he asking the questions. I am not switching pediatricians now. Dr. Jerry your the best. read more

My daughter is five and we found this practice when she was an infant. I was very happy with Dr. Rubin and the alternative medicine suggestions given. Unfortunately, in the past couple years everything here has changed. Doctors seem overwhelmed and too busy. Is this just healthcare today? It is frustrating to me that you never see the same person when visiting. There is no relationship established between doctor and patient. I don't have a problem seeing a NP or PA sometimes, but it would be nice to get the same one. I have only called the after hour line twice in 5 years. The first time was a couple years ago. Dr. Prina definitely did not want to be bothered. I took my child in the next day and he misdiagnosed her MRSA infection as a bug bite. When it worsened the next day, we saw a different doc whom properly diagnosed my little one. Sadly, at this point the boil had to be lanced. Tonight I had to call again. I'm suspecting my little one may have appendicitis. Again the on call doctor seemed to not want to be bothered. My apologies that it was midnight, but I can't predict when my child will get a fever. I got the usual "wait until tomorrow". Well, I'm not a paranoid parent, and I pretty much know my gut is right. I really hope that I don't regret listening to someone's advice, that wasn't listening to me. read more

We had a terrible experience with Dr. Lataitis. She seemed very friendly at first, but don't be fooled the parent does not have choices with this doctor. I was 8 months pregnant and I have/had autoimmune issues, I have been told by 2 of the best doctors in the country to do an alternative vaccination schedule with both of my children (Doctors who advised me: One is functional MD in Fort Lauderdale who is a professor at the University of Miami, and the other in an MD and ND who has received several awards for his treatment of complex illnesses such as cancer, he is located in Orlando, FL) Dr. Lataitis made me feel horribly guilty, her exact words to me were: "My job is to make sure both of your boys grow up strong and healthy, and that they are both sitting here in my office before going to college. And not having died from a horrible preventable disease." Wow! As if my goal, as their mother, isn't to keep them healthy. That is my top priority in my life, and I am trying to do the best I can for my babies. After that, she looked at my pregnant belly and said (in a condescending tone), "and, how is the baby? Is he okay." As though I wasn't worried enough. Thanks doc. I also explained to her that I have MTHFR and so does my oldest son, and that I wasn't sure about the baby so we would have him tested after birth. MTHFR effects a persons ability to detox and process folic acid and is thought to be part of the complex puzzle related to many health issues, and especially autism (as it's related to vaccinations). This doctor had NO IDEA what mthfr was. She said, "yeah, mthfr, you just need to drink a lot of water." As much as water is wonderful, that is not how you help a person who is homozygous for mthfr (c667t variant). Needless to say, I took my boys elsewhere and was able to find a wonderful and compassionate pediatrician who looks at all of the facts on all sides, and when she doesn't completely understand something she researches. She and I have designed a plan for my children that pleases both of us, and both of us know that my children are the priority. My oldest is now 4.5 and my youngest is 6.5 months and they are both very healthy. I have no doubt in my mind that if I had stayed with this doctor and let her make the choices for my children, they would NOT be doing as well as they are today. It took me a long time to write this review because of how emotional this experience made me. I sat in the parking lot after the appointment and cried. I can not possibly literate exactly how horrible the experience was. If you or your children have any kind of health concerns, especially those complex in nature, please do not take them to this doctor. read more

We have been going to PIP for almost 12 years. We love the front staff, MA's, NP's, and Doctors. They always take care of us promptly. There has not been one time in 11 years that they have not gotten us in the same day to see someone. I am so thankful we have a great Pediatricians office. read more

We have 3 children and have been clients for 12 years at the Jasmine office. I dread taking them here. Here's why: --As patients, we have to be there within 15 minutes of the appointment time, or the appt will be cancelled and you will still be charged. --However, even if you as a patient arrive on time, expect to wait 20 min to 80 min to see the caregiver. Bring things to entertain the little ones in the exam room because you will be there a long time. --When the caregiver arrives, you will never see the same one twice. They will be harried, sick, and stressed out. They will be cordial and do their best, but there will be no time for getting to know your child or anything beyond the rote questions. --Staff. In 12 years I have seen the MD's listed on the website exactly 4 times. 3 times when each of my children were born, and 1 time when my middle child was in the hospital. Their names are sometimes listed on the door but if there is a way to actually see them I haven't figured it out. --The front desk staff is usually equally harried, curt, and when I call I feel like it is an imposition for them to help me. read more

I called the office when my toddler fell and hit his head on the concrete. The office did not connect me with a doctor but did ask questions. They recommended only that I go to an urgent care or ER. I went to the urgent care. Urgent care said go to Pediatric ER (at least they were more specific!) and Children's Hospital Triage doctor was APPALLED that my son's pediatric doctor didn't ask to see him or wouldn't let him come in to see him first. She said do not stay at a practice that won't see a kid's bump. They know that child better than a triage ER doctor and should be the one to suggest further treatment if needed especially since it was such an iffy bruise. We ended up getting a CT Scan that another doc at the ER said we obviously didn't need. Then back at the Partners in Pediatrics, some of the providers would rather talk to me about my parenting STYLE rather than my child's health as if I bumbled into my gentle parenting style without any research or reason. It did not make me feel like doctors there were supportive. Thirdly, when I refused vaccinations with worries about my son's past adverse reactions, I was not asked about his health or my concerns until a phone call later but was instead told office policy was I could not come back without signing a refusal form, and my doctor immediately thereafter lied to me prescribing me to get my son lead tested claiming, "all Medicaid patients are required to test blood for lead". I called Medicaid as this seemed unnecessary based on us living with no sources of lead (I am the type of person to have my house water source lab tested) and live in a recently built house. I called Medicaid and sure enough, the doctor was either lying or mistaken - or trying to put us through unnecessary and painful procedures. Fourthly, I brought my child who had just a swollen gland for several weeks in - as soon as he came home he got pinkeye. The office suggested I always schedule first of the day or first after lunch appointment to avoid cross-contamination which is sound advice. But the provider said "the gland could stay there swollen for as long as a year" and did no blood tests. I found another office, the doctor asked more questions, checked blood for iron levels, and BAM! his swollen gland healed and he sleeps better. I felt supported! I am never going back to this practice. I have previously told the doctor I was not returning and it appears she did not communicate with the staff because they still keep calling me to bring my son in. read more

PIP have been our children's primary care physicians since 2004. Most recently, when our younger child was seriously ill, the whole team have been great including Dr Nancy who has seen both our children many times. Jimmy (PA-C) and Stephanie (PA-C) have been wonderful in onsite check-ups as well as checking in with us regularly by phone. They provided the expertise, advice, and care we needed to get to the bottom of our child's illness and get him on the road to recovery. Just joined the practice after moving to Denver in Feb but currently looking for a new practice. Wouldn't allow me to make an appt until ALL of my kids records were sent and until they had their "charts created". Could not get an appt with a physician, only PA unless I wanted to wait 3 mos (ridiculous). Unsatsfactory experience with PA........had to repeat myself several times during visit and felt my concerns were not being addressed. Not a horrible experience overall, but I know I can find better. read more

What I've always loved about Partners in Pediatrics is that the doctors and PAs have listened to my concerns and discussed treatment options clearly and carefully. I prefer to antibiotics and/or steroids as a last resort rather than pumping my kids full of penicillin so I can get back to work. Partners has offered homeopathic and other natural healing options so that I've been able to keep my sons healthy for decades, rarely using pharmaceuticals. I'm shocked at the 1 star reviews here as they run contrary to my experience. I've been taking my sons to Partners in Pediatrics since we moved to Denver 16 years ago and have never had an issue. I love the doctors and have been provided amazing support from them with everything from a phone call to the emergency room. There was a time when my insurance changed and I had to switch to another practice. I couldn't wait to get back to Dean Prina and Partners in Pediatrics and away from the over-crowded, script-pushing high-profile practice I'd gone to for two years. I'm hopeful that the majority of patients share my experience rather than those whose has been less than stellar. read more

It's too bad that there are negative reviews on this site because I love this practice. This place was referred to me by a very trusted and picky friend of mine (who is a healthcare professional). I too am a health care professional. This is a very nice practice, in fact I saw a very important Broncos player here with his family. Although that's unrelated to why you should come here. I actually prefer seeing Ben who is a PA. There is nothing wrong with seeing a PA when the PA is excellent. When my son was born both Dean and Ben had dropped by the day he was born and they day after. My son was 4 weeks premature and they wanted to make sure he would be healthy enough to go home. Dean has been great but it was just easier for us to see Ben so I kept it that way. Ben is very thorough, he takes his time and asks a lot of questions and makes sure that you get to ask yours. Every wellcare visit with him he discusses everything with us from nutrition, to development, to behavior and gives the utmost support and advice. When my son has been sick we see anyone who is available. My other favorite provider is an RN named Allison. She is truly wonderful with children. She takes her time to gain her patient's trust. Her personality exudes kindness. Honestly, I am not sure why people feel that they must see MDs, I trust all the providers at this practice. There is an excellent handbook given to parents that is extremely detailed and helpful and I go to it very often. However, I did call in afterhours for questions for my son who was ill and the MD on call was very rude and snappy with me. I don't remember her name, but I don't believe we've ever met her in person. She acted angry that I called, as if it was trvial. She was very condescending and kept telling me to read the handbook. read more

Would not recommend this clinic based on my experience with my now 12 week old. Never once saw a doctor at their office. Was told if you want to see a doctor you should schedule appointments at least 3 months out. When I called with a serious concern about a rash, I was told I could not be seen same day and that nobody would likely be able to call me until the next day (!!!!). Took 36 hours to get a return phone call from a PA. Was made to feel like my concern over my newborn was some sort of imposition on them. On recommendation of a friend, called another very well known pediatric clinic as a brand new patient and was able to get in with the doctor of my choice within 45 minutes of my call! Have been SO happy that I switched ever since. read more

We have been taking my son here since birth (2.5 years ago), and will be using the practice for our second child. While I admit we have had some not-so-great experiences with a few doctors or PA's, the practice is large enough that you can find someone you like. We see Dr. Kristin Prevedel. She always take the time to listen and remembers my son from visit to visit. Every time my son has been sick, they get me in within hours of my call. If you have to call in the middle of the night, they page a doctor/PA, rather than make you go through a nurse first. I am constantly running into people who use this practice. We are also friends with four other couples who take their kids here. For us it was between this and Cherry Creek Peds, and this one doesn't seem quite as overwhelmed with patients. The only downfall I can think of is that you have to make an appointment with a doctor (meaning copay) for a newborn weight check. My son needed weight checks all the time, so that was unfortunate. read more

I have been taking my children to Partners in Pediatrics for 25 years. I just called to make an yearly physical for my 10 year old son. I was informed that we were no longer patients there due to a billing issue, which was taken care of a year ago! How do you just say sorry but not sorry to a loyal patient and then dismiss them?? This is absolutely the worst I have ever been treated, the staff there has always been rude but the practitioners have always been great that is why we continued to go there. DO YOUR PHYSICIANS KNOW THIS PRACTICE?! A letter stating that we were dismissed from your care would have been helpful as you are listed as my sons physician on his school information. I have a son with developmental disabilities in Boulder. When he was born years ago, P in P was the only provider within 2 hours that would take a new medicaid patient besides Clinica, which was where we ended up first. That was before the medicaid expansion, when kids like mine were seen as an expense rather than a patient by most providers. He was basically neglected by unqualified professionals for his level of need at Clinica. Within a few minutes of sitting down with us Lisa Miller could tell he had some sort of genetic disorder, Clinica had not even NOTICED his differences, even though his disability is significant and he was severely delayed across the board in all areas of development. It was a relief to be with a thoughtful and experienced provider. Because it is a rotating practice we have seen several doctors and PAs there over the years and find them all to be thoughtful and qualified. Dr. Jessen is also wonderful and goes above and beyond. read more
