We had a great visit here. It was very easy to make an appointment. All the front desk staff is kind and understanding. It was a very quick wait in the waiting room. We saw Dr Wigglesworth. She was very nice and answered my many questions about vaccines. You can tell she really cares about the kids. We are definitely happy we made the switch to come here. Finding a good pediatrician was at the top of my list when we moved to Colorado. Thank goodness we did find one! My teenage daughter was seeing a GP, but we were able to transition her back to a pediatrician with her younger siblings (7 and 3) because of this all female practice. Since she isn't an adult, I much prefer she's with a pediatrician and this place is great! They don't talk down to her or treat her like a kid and she loves that. When the kids are sick, they are seen quickly and with lots of empathy. They are conservative in their care, but they don't under-care for the kids either - it's a great balance. They never seem too busy to treat us with kindness and talk to the kids as people and not just patients. So glad we found this place! read more

It appears their business model is to confirm your kid is sick, not offer any treatment and double up their business revenue by having you return for a check up when things don't get better. I even waited once until my daughter had a fever before taking her in because I was afraid they would deny treatment if she wasn't "measurably" ill. Same result, "let's see if it gets better and come back of it doesn't." Of course we came back a week later, and they happily charged for the additional visit. After multiple times of this experience, we're done. Centennial Pediatrics operates in bad faith. Find a better practice to care for your kids. read more

Centennial Pediatrics has been a great place to go. I have been taking my child here for over 5 years. Overall the experience has been great. Just like any relationship, there can be challenges, even the best ones. When going somewhere for so long, you can see the staff have their good days and bad days. Thankfully, The 5+ years there have only been 1 "bad day". I don't know if I can even call it that because my child and I were still treated kindly. It was just a quick rush through on a very busy day, full of people wanting to help their sick kids feel better. My child has always enjoyed coming here (except for shots). When my child is scared, the team talks to my kiddo and allows me the time to speak and explain the process. No matter how big or small the visit may be. Centennial Pediatrics makes my kid not afraid to see the doctor and for that, I am grateful! I have seen every doctor and nurse they have had I've the years and they have all be great. read more

We have been coming to Centennial Ped's for 6 months, when our son was born. We liked that it feels like a small family practice rather than the places that make you feel like "just another number". We usually see Dr Stanford but we're happy to see both her and Dr Hadley. All the nurses have been great too. They won't take children with colds/congestion anymore. Our son unfortunately gets ear infections and we have been taking our son here for about a year, during covid they were always able to take him in at times he had a runny nose, or a cough. I don't know why, but today they switched the rules on us at the time of his appointment. Even after two questionnaires (one well before and right at the appointment) nothing has changed, yet they tell me they can't take him in as we're there in the car waiting. I understand if they changed their protocol and this is now their precaution, but for the staff to lie and say it's "always been that way" was extreme ly unprofessional. I have ALWAYS been able to take him in with congestion, they just have us wait in our car until the room is ready and give us a covid questionnaire. I could have had a heads-up to schedule it at a different time and not take a day off and drive up for nothing. We've been able to take him in for his congestion, but according to the nurse today, we can no longer do that. We have to do a "Tele-visit" to assess him and only bring him in when symptoms go away. Which contradicts the ability of getting him checked up by a doctor. It rubs me the wrong way when an establishment will blatantly lie to you just justify their mistake. read more

Scheduling is easy and any question is answered promptly. All three doctors communicate very well, ensuring we feel comfortable seeing anyone in the practice. In the past, we really like this place. But this most recent visit, they confirmed our pharmacy with us and then sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Then when they did get the prescription sent to the correct pharmacy, they had the dosage wrong. I don't feel like the doctor we saw a recently (Hess) really listened very well. I just tried to call to schedule my daughter's six month check up, and apparently they only schedule three months out. I have lots of kids and a busy life, and it certainly would be more helpful if I could schedule these appointments in advance rather than trying to remember in three months that I need to call and schedule an appointment for three months after that! Who does that? My other doctors offices, my dentist, the airlines, rental car companies, hotels, everybody schedules farther than three months out. Get it together guys! read more

I have been taking my kids to this office for the last 13 years and have always been able to get the kids in for sick visits right away. The front staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that the charts link right to childrens hospital so all records are easily accessed in an emergency. I have seen both the primary doctors and the physicians assistants and have never had any problems with feeling like we were mislead. read more

I have been taking my daughter to Centennial Pediatrics ever since she was 10 years old. She's 17 now and we have never had less than a wonderful experience there! This is one of the hardest reviews I feel I should write. First let me start with my absolute love and respect for Dr. Stanford, she has been absolutely wonderful to my girls, she has been their doctor for over 5 years now and I cant imagine leaving her, but the front office staff, the ladies that answer the phone make it hard for me to want to return. Through the years nothing but horrible service. The only one that was friendly and compassionate on the phone is no longer there and has bern replaced with the gumpy copycat. It really sucks, I wish the front office would match the back end. Dr.Stanford is a great doctor, her nurses are wonderful. The front office absolutely horrible. We've been with this office for 1.5 years since we moved to the area, but until this year we've only had well-child visits so I didn't have much to write. Last month, my 5yo was diagnosed with pneumonia so we've had a lot of interaction, and it's been excellent. My 5yo went to school on Monday feeling great. She went to bed Monday night feeling great, but she was tired when she woke up Tuesday. No fever or any other indication she was getting sick, just a bit tired. A few hours later, the school nurse called and her temperature was 103.5 so we picked her up. I'm a big fan of "let the fever do its job" so we made her comfortable, gave her some homeopathic help, and gave her a lot of rest and hydration. Over the next 3 days, her fever would break, she would feel good, and then it would spike in the afternoon/evening/night, so we made an appointment to see the doctor. They tested her for a UTI (no), influenza (no), and Dr. Stanford listened to her breathing. She had a minor cough that would come at night, and she'd had some nasal congestion like most 5yo do during winter, but nothing that was out of the ordinary. Dr. Stanford suggested a chest x-ray to test for pneumonia. I've heard pneumonia can be difficult to diagnose in children, and now I see why: she didn't exhibit any of the signs I (as a mom, not a dr) would associate with pneumonia. Well, the chest x-ray showed she had pneumonia, and I'm so glad that Dr. Stanford suggested the chest x-ray. After 5 days, her cough was worse and she still wasn't feeling great, so we went back to the doctor. Dr. Stanford was gone but we saw Hannah and Dr. Hedley, and they were also great. They came up with ideas of things we could try (including an inhaler), and the called the next day to see how she was faring. At one point, on a Friday afternoon, they proactively called us to check on her so we didn't go away for a weekend and have a new issue. Other things I like: the on-call after-hours nurses are with Children's Hospital Colorado, and Centennial Pediatrics responds quickly to non-urgent emails. Our family is on a high deductible PPO, so while routine preventative care is covered all of these tests and visits are out of pocket until we meet our very high family deductible (which we hope we never meet). Dr. Stanford was great about telling me roughly how much things would cost so we could decide what to do, which I appreciate when things are nonessential and perhaps expensive. I see some of the other reviewers complained about scheduling routine appointments, but I didn't dock a star for that. Excellent medical offices are busy (I'm trying a new PCP for myself and the earliest appointment for a new adult patient was 6 months out), and scheduling can be tricky. It's clear to me that Centennial Pedicatrics leaves holes in the schedule for urgent issues, like a 5yo with pneumonia, and I appreciate that. read more

We started seeing Dr Headley when my oldest daughter was a newborn - 12 years ago now! Now I have 3 kids who are patients here. We have seen primarily Dr Headley, but also Dr Stanford and the very nice PA on occasion. We've never felt rushed, everyone is very professional and kind, and we are always asked multiple times if we have any questions or concerns. Recently I received a call from the office to schedule my daughter's well-visit, which I had completely spaced, and I so appreciated that. Very happy with Centennial Pediatrics! read more

We researched (and researched some more) pediatrician's in our area from just about the second our son was conceived. We decided on Centennial Peds after meeting with both Doctors who we really loved and checking out the office-which was small and somewhat plain besides a few stickers on the wall but good enough considering how much we liked the doctors. Unfortunately, just about a year into our parenting endeavor we are unimpressed and disappointed. The Good: *We always get an appointment the same day we call and usually within a few hours *They offer nice free samples *Up until 4 months old you get to go directly into a room instead of waiting in the waiting room *This is a pro-life clinic. They don't advertise this but if you ask when meeting the doctors they are happy to discuss it. All but 3 (I think, maybe 2) vaccinations are created without fetal cell lines which is hard to find. The Bad: *I feel like we leave more sick then we came. I'm not sure a "sick side" and a "well side" actually makes that much of a difference, but at least it's an effort. At this office, the waiting room is tiny and everyone is sitting right next to each other...coughing on my baby. *One of the receptionist is very rude. On the other hand, two of the others are incredibly friendly. *It doesn't feel warm, inviting or nice for kids. The Worst: *Ultimately, I don't feel like we receive a high level of care. I know that babies are squirmy and nobody wants to see them cry, but when my son is sick I need a thorough exam. Multiple times I've felt like there is no chance they even really saw in his ears or throat with how fast they looked. We were in 5 times in 2 weeks because my son was very sick. Every time we left with a different diagnosis. I will pay for my son to go to the doctor every single day if that's what he needs, but, it does seem a little ridiculous to pay for 5 appointments back-to-back when the final diagnosis is what I came in for the first time. None of it felt right. We are disappointed, we really do like the doctors and we wanted-badly- to love this place. But, we are switching offices to a family practice with a doctor that is more thorough and who takes germs a little more seriously. I hope another parent researching pediatricians finds this useful, other parent recommendations mean so much to me. read more

We're new to town so finding a Dr. in our network and close by was hard to find. I took my 3 year old here and was taken care of by Dr. Stanford. When pur daughter was born, we also used Dr. Stanford. After the first visit with my son, the office staff treated us like crap and the Drs seemed to just cycle us in and out to make the most money possible. We were given little to no advice concerning our daughter at her newborn visit. I'll be changing doctors ASAP. read more

We have been coming here for years. While they are very good they now live up to what I have heard that they are just too busy and under staffed. Every time I call it's a very long wait time. There is also always a long wait time with appointments when you go in and even booking. That's my main complaint but they are excellent care providers. read more

I am so bummed that I have to write a bad review because I myself saw Dr Headley as a kid and she now sees my three kids. Dr Headley is great and I love her attentiveness when we have appointments, but the front desk staff is absolutely horrible. There were issues with my HR adding my youngest daughter to my insurance which I had discussed with them several times. My HR even said they would talk to them and explain that my daughter has been added there were just a few days of lag time for the insurance to add her, but that it would be taken care of. My HR said they've explained that to many pediatrician offices and they have accepted that. The front desk staff still made me pay out of pocket and even told me that my daughter couldn't get her vaccinations because they are too expensive. Luckily, Dr Headley did not agree with that decision and gave her vaccinations. They've been rude other times as well demanding that I give them my insurance card when they already had the same card on file. Hopefully they can make some changes, but it's unfortunately too late for my family. read more

I tried setting up an appointment to have my newborn seen (she's 3 months old) and we currently lost insurance from moving states. I'm starting a new job and I'm not currently eligible through their insurance just yet. I inquired about self pay but since I mentioned I was considering Medicaid they will not let my daughter be seen here. Ridiculous. Why does it matter when I will be paying out of pocket regardless?? This place is great I have been looking for a doctor for my children for many years. I had someone at my church tell me about the doctors here. I was able to interview both Michelle Stanford and Roxann Headley and both of them lesson to what you think and give great information. I was pregnant with my 4th child and when I had her it was a Thursday and we where leaving the hospital on a Friday and the doctors wanted to have a doctor look at her the next day and like everyone knows most Doctors don't come in on the weekend, but when I called them Roxann Headley said she would come in on Saturday to look over her. My children love the doctors and the physicians Assistants Rachel Burghard and Kayly Newland. Over all if you want the best for your children I would take them here. read more

This place is amazing. I've been with them for about three years, since my twins were two months old. They are always excited to see us, kind, and knowledgeable in their scope of practice. I moved to Boulder and will not give them up! I make the drive because it's worth it to me. If you ask questions, you will get answers. If you call in, they will promptly see your child. If you make a call or email about questions, they will contact you very quickly. I have nothing but nice things to say about this practice. They go above what's expected in my opinion. read more

We were with Centennial Pediatrics for over two years, and while the doctors are friendly and knowledgable, the nurses are incredibly rude. We are self-pay for our wellness visits since we use a health share plan, and they refused to administer a flu vaccine for our daughter. The doctor recommended she get one during the visit, however upon discovering we were self-pay in her chart, the nurse suddenly remembered they were "all out". I talked to the front desk about it, and she even asked the nurse "what if they pay for it?" and the nurse was cold, and barely turned around to give us the time of day. I wanted to love this place, because the doctors are kind, but I just can't get past the discrimination, that just because we choose not to pay 1500 a month for traditional insurance, we are not given the same level of care. read more

They were rude and dismissive so we left without being seen with tears in both of our eyes. They then went and charged me for a "late cancel" apt when they refused to see my child! We've been seeing Dr. Headley since we moved here a little over a year ago. She has seen both of my children ages 4 years and 18 months. We love her! She puts both of my children at ease and is super personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I feel like she actually listens when I have questions and gives good, common sense advice. She definitely understands children's fears and helps calm them when needed.The office staff and nurses have always been friendly and helpful. Was seen 45 min after a call about possible strep infection with my 4 year old. Thank goodness it wasn't, but I was seen right away. I've had pediatricians in Las Vegas, Reno, and here. We have been taking our two sons to Centennial Pediatrics for the past three years. Throughout this time they have been nothing short of amazing. Dr. Headley and Dr. Stanford came and saw both the boys in the hospital when they were born. All well check appointments are scheduled with plenty of time so you never feel rushed and the doctors have always answered every question and given handouts if needed. Any time the boys are sick we are able to get appointments that day, never having to wait long. Dr Headley called our house one night after 8pm to tell us the test results they received on our son, she could have waited until the morning but she called so we knew and also wanted to see how he was doing. Dr Stanford called on a Saturday morning to see how our son was doing after being sick all week. The doctors naturally care about each family and the well being of the children. Dr. Rachel and Dr. Hanna have also always been so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. We don't care who we see when we go because we trust everyone. The nurses are simply amazing as well. My son loves seeing Siamone and every other nurse who has assisted when he is sick or there for a check up. The front desk staff has always been very helpful and kind. Greeting us upon arrival and appointment times hardly ever run late. We have never had a bad experience or encounter. I would highly recommend Centennial Pediatrics if you are looking for a kind, genuine, and family style environment. read more
