This is the first pediatrician I've visited that administered the Edinburgh Postnatal Assessment to new mothers and I am so grateful for that. I feel like they're looking out for me as well as my children. I've come here about 5 times this year so far with both my newborn and my toddler. Outstanding service every single time. The front desk women are pleasant and helpful. The nurses we've encountered have been beyond delightful and understanding. I had to make a visit with my toddler and newborn by myself and they were completely patient with me as I tried to wrangle my toddler and carry my newborn. The nurse even offered to help! We have seen various doctors and NPs and each one has been great. They don't rush us and I feel they actually listen to all my questions and sometimes silly anxious mom concerns. read more

We were in a time-sensitive situation and only needed a single signature from our pediatrician confirming our son has an up-to-date physical so he could participate in a same-day basketball tryout. We emailed the form at 9:30 a.m. and politely asked if it could be returned by 2:00 p.m. Understanding that offices are busy, we felt 5.5 hours for a simple signature was reasonable. After receiving no response, we called multiple times to confirm the email was received. Four calls later, including being placed on hold twice until the calls disconnected, we still had no answer. We ultimately drove the form to the office in person. My wife then waited 45 minutes in the lobby, during which only one patient checked in, and we still did not receive the signature. We understand that medical offices are busy, but responsiveness and basic communication matter -- especially when it involves kids and time-sensitive school or sports requirements. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to look for a new pediatrician for our three children. I would encourage others to consider the importance of communication and responsiveness when choosing a provider. read more

We have been with this pediatric practice for over a decade and truly value the medical care provided by the clinicians, who have always been kind and knowledgeable. However, over time the overall experience has changed, and unfortunately not for the better. The practice now feels more focused on growth and volume than on patient experience. Appointments often feel rushed, wait times are much longer than they used to be, and customer service no longer has the personal, family-centered feel it once did. While I understand that continued growth is a sign of success, it also seems the practice has become too busy to maintain the level of attentiveness that initially set it apart. Clearer communication, improved scheduling, and a renewed focus on patient experience would make a meaningful difference. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit intended, as we would love to see the practice return to the caring, patient-first environment it once had. Example would be our appointment for flu "mist", which was communicated at the time of the appointment scheduling. We showed up and the MA seemed rushed and annoyed stating they are out of the mist and have to administer a shot. She was far from patient with us as we decided on this change; quite rude, actually. Additionally, we made a 7:50 am appointment, showed up on time, went to the room, and had to step out twice to ask if the doctor was coming. By 8:30 am there was no doctor, no authentic communication as to why we are waiting so long, and we left without being seen. We've been passed through 4 different doctors in our time here, and are considering a switch. I'd say since 2020 we've felt more like a number to get in and out the door. Not impressed anymore. 3 stars for the service we enjoyed and remember from the past. Zero stars for the past few years. read more

We came here based on a personal referral after being bounced around by insurance for a few years. Unfortunately I was PROFOUNDLY disappointed by the professionalism and care we received here. It is NOT a safe environment for a kid with a needle phobia or potential neurodivergence. That is the KINDEST language I can use. My 10 year old has a fear of needles and this office is not equipped to handle that. Despite the nurse and an ME assuring him they would go slow until HE felt comfortable receiving his flu shot, after only a couple of minutes they got impatient and decided to hold him down and force the injection. I asked if they had a method for restraining kids of his size (he's a typical 10 year old... not a toddler I can just hold in my lap!) but they said we could do it ourselves. I followed their lead, helping to restrain my son. Unsurprisingly, we were not coordinated and my son fought back (as expected), kicking and flailing. The moment the shot was over he began to cry and apologize, explaining that he knew he was overreacting but needles "are still very scary". Instead of responding with compassion, they immediately left the room and slammed the door behind them. Literally. As I attempted to calm my kids who are now both crying because "the nurses seem really mad at us," the ME pops her head back in and says "Sorry about the door. It just slipped." Okay, sure. A couple minutes later the doctor returned, proceeded to guilt my son for his phobia, and had the nurse come back in so he could "apologize properly." I went along with this, thinking we could show him that the nurse was okay (he was still apologizing repeatedly for "hitting and fighting back") and that we could chat about needle-phobias and how to handle it better in the future. Instead, the doc awkwardly demanded "a better apology" from my son and gave him a short lecture on "being old enough" and "controlling himself" while the nurse and I shared confused looks. Thankfully, the nurse DID try to reassure him, "it's okay buddy, it happens... we just have to try harder to remind ourselves of that when we're scared." After the nurse left, the doctor began to ask me a bunch of neurodivergence diagnostic questions INFRONT of my VERY upset 10 year old AND his sibling. He immediately picked up on her inferences and became defensive. I tried to redirect the conversation, reminding her that I had concerns I was hoping to address privately. I told her I had recently been diagnosed with ADHD myself, so I'm new to this side of assessment and care for my kids, and she responded with confusion and shaming. I ended the appointment there and left in a bit of a confused haze. We never even got the chance to have the standard appointment discussion (height, weight, percentiles, etc), because the doc launched straight into the neurodivergence questions and never circled back. It is difficult for me to even process the level of unprofessionalism I experienced in this short visit, but I will NEVER return here. I feel fortunate we did not hurt him when forcing the shot, but am livid that they didn't even mention alternate ways to administer the flu vaccine (an RN friend told me about the nasal cannula option after I shared my experience.) My decision was reinforced when I received a call from the pediatric office a week later informing me that "you are no longer welcome back because it is a safety concern." When I asked them to articulate whose safety they were concerned for - the child or the adult medical professional - the woman on the phone got defensive and began to berate me and condescend, telling me they have to "protect themselves." When I asked what they were doing to safely manage other children with needle phobias, I was told "you're lucky we are even informing you. This is a professional courtesy we didn't have to extend. We could have just sent you the official letter with no phone call." Then the phone call devolved as I said "we will NOT be returning to your office" and she kept reiterating, "well, you're not allowed in the building".... like some kind of I-broke-up-with-you-first argument. It was like arguing with an angry teenager. Apparently I was supposed to be both apologetic and grateful that they were letting me know they cannot do their job safely. It is heartbreaking for me to read these other glowing reviews and be a voice of dissent. Maybe I had my expectations set too high, but I cannot get over the poor communication and lack of consideration for an overwhelmed 10 year old at a PEDIATRIC office. My kid was shamed by multiple medical 'professionals' for his phobia (my ADULT husband has the same phobia and is somehow treated with dignity when he requires injections.) To say nothing of the not-so-subtle shaming I received for admitting ignorance and seeking guidance regarding neurodivergence. Very grateful for this practice and overall have had a positive experience. My son has been a patient here since he was born and now my daughter also goes here. Originally we saw Dr. Hadeed, who was fabulous, but after he left, we switched to Dr. Vangeti. She's been an outstanding physician, always thorough, proactive, and funny! She's likewise been supportive in helping us deal with our son's more complex medical issues. She also responds quickly to written messages. My one complaint about the practice is that the Medical Assistants never answer calls and sometimes don't even return voicemails. This needs to be improved dramatically. Likewise, I don't recommend seeing the NPs for anything other than basic illnesses or minor injuries. Anything more complex or serious merits seeing the pediatrician as I've found the NPs are out of their depth in treating more serious issues correctly. The practice has grown a lot since we first started going and I've found that scheduling appointments is getting more challenging so don't wait until the last minute to book something. read more

We have been taking my son to lone tree pediatrics since he was born.We have had Dr Berry, Dr Vengetti, Dr Hadeed, and now we have Dr. Boone. I have always loved each and every doctor! They have taken the time needed to make sure my son is doing well ! I change to a male doctor since my son is now 10 . We met Dr. Boone today and he was amazing ,funny and very thoughtful ! I was previously very upset with a lack of proper communication with another doctor pre-Covid. There is an new Doc with this practice that I can enthusiastically give a 5 star review to, and that is Dr. Boone! He is a true professional, and he provided a thorough, conscientious level of care to my teenage son today. He's younger and very relatable to patients and parents alike. I overheard the ladies at the front desk having to shuffle some appointments, due to another doc being out today. This might be the kind of situation where other docs would rush their patients, but that was not the case with Dr. Boone. He was extremely conscientious, and very skilled with his explanations. I have friends and family in medicine, and hear the stories of how challenging their world can be at times. Dr. Boone is the super star that all young families would hope to find as a provider for their children early in the game! I see a bright future for Dr. Boone, and feel a sense of gratitude that the folks of Douglas County have a top notch pediatrician here to serve our community. read more

We had a very disappointing experience with Lone Tree Pediatrics. Our son was born at 36 weeks and was not feeding properly when we were discharged after 2 nights at Skyridge even though we voiced these concerns to the visiting physician from Lone Tree Peds. We ended up in Children's Hospital for 2 nights as soon as we got home. When we called to schedule our wellness check with Lone Tree Peds after being discharged we were told the soonest they could see us would be a week, which is totally unacceptable. Only after pushing back with the receptionist were we able to get an appointment the next day. Lastly our son was just diagnosed with a severe tongue/lip tie which explains his low weight gain (stayed between 2-6% the first 6 months) which nobody diagnosed at Lone Tree Peds. We now go to Broomfield Peds where they properly diagnosed it and sent us to a specialist. Treatment would have been much easier if this had been found in the first few months (really it should have been found the first few days). read more

As much as I love Dr. Vangeti, I believe this place needs some better management now. I have been very disappointed with the overall management. To begin with, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes wait before your call can be answered. They never respond to voice notes. And talk about getting your child in for a sick visit. That's just impossible here. They have appointments available but won't give them unless you call them the same day at 8am. And needless to say when you call them at 8 your call either goes unanswered or there are no more appointments left for the day. I have ended taking my son to an urgent care just because I couldn't get him in here. I agree that they maybe short staffed given the current scenario but this is definitely not the service I signed up for. I could give them a rating in minus if I could. read more

When we had our baby, we were so excited to have found Lone Tree Pediatrics. We love Lindsey Height and Jordan. They are both amazing. However, the practice itself would stop seeing our child at 4 months because I missed his 4-month health visit. They could not see me, and I had to go to the ER. They sent me there twice all because I missed the 4-month wellness, literally a single 4 month old appt. They also then said because we did not get our baby vaccinated, they would not see him. We were vaccinating him, but we wanted to wait until he was 6 months old but because we made that decision, they also made that another reason to not see him. It was so sad because we loved this office, and he has since had his vaccines, but we wanted to wait until his little system could support it a little better. We have found a pediatrician's office that respects the parents' decision to wait. They then called me after 8 months and asked to set up a wellness visit and I told them we found another pediatricians office and explained why and the person just said "okay, I will note it". This is not how you want your pediatrician's office that manages your most precious child. read more

The doctors are amazing. (Dr Haynes in particular but all of the medical staff are rockstars.) The front office staff is impossible. Getting a sick visit appointment is impossible. You can only get one the day-of, if you call at 8 am, and only if you get someone on the phone. No voicemail has ever been returned. They're inconsistent with their policies-sick visits can only be booked day-of, except when they can't and then they book an appointment in advance (makes no sense) and it's a moratorium getting past their antiquated practices on health insurance. I recognize times are weird with staffing issues, but the amount of attitude I receive every time I go to book an appointment is unfortunately not worth it to get to the amazing doctors. Will obviously be switching, but save yourself some trouble here and go somewhere else. read more

This place needs some serious work. It is looking for a malpractice lawsuit. I had several issues here, started from day one. I brought my newborn daughter in, whom they determined had jaundice.they took blood and sent us on our way. Her levels were high so they asked we come back in the following daybat 9am. Took blood again. I got a call an hour later stating her levels had dropped in half, (which is highly unheard of). Around 4 pm I received a call from the NP she informed me that she had given me another patients results and her levels were dangerously high, almost 17!!!!! A few days later we went in for more testing, the nurse completely forgot we were in there. Instead of putting the heating pad on her heal and waiting for her heel to warm for easier blood removal. She shot my daughter and tortured her for 10 minutes trying to remove blood. Which left bruising on my daughters leg and heel. I thought I'd give them one more shot, so I switched to a new NP. She seemed extremely nice. However, she too forgot we were in the room and we sat waiting for 15 minutes. Not to mention, I came in to an unexpected $700 bill and expected to pay immediately. When I said, I couldn't the front desk gave me the biggest attitude and made me feel like an idiot. read more

So the narrative is this; poor attitudes from nurses and assistants, less than par bedside manner from doctors and medical billing that makes mistakes and expects patients to fix them. This all started when our FIRST baby was less than 1 day old when The Dr (not to be named as I don't want review removed for violating Yelp rules) walked in before 6am to greet us at the hospital after being awake and prodded for over 24 hours. How could you do this to first time parents that were just able to fall asleep? Not only do the doctors schedule overlapping patients, they typically run behind leaving you waiting in a room for over 30 minutes before even being seen then they spend a minimal time speaking with you and spend most of that time typing on their laptops. The medical billing department has called me asking that I reach my insurance company to see why THIER bills are being rejected to only find that they had missing items causing the bills to be rejected. This is over the span of about 8 visits. They lost blood, requested incorrect blood panels, and diagnosed a possible life altering disease in this short time frame. Imagine staying with the practice any longer?? A note to the practice; if you can't afford your lifestyles without overlapping scheduling and subpar bedside manner then maybe you should rethink your business plan. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. read more

I absolutely love Dr. Vangeti. She has been a blessing to my family and I'm very sad we are leaving. Unfortunately, the way the office staff handled a recent situation with an appointment for my oldest daughter has us needing to find an office where we feel cared for. There was an accident on I-25 and the highway was closed. I called the office to let them know that we were going to be late. The admin, Sarah, stated they have a 10 minute late policy, to which I said we're coming as fast as we can, but will definitely be late, she said that's fine. We showed up and she and the office manager refused to help. They both said it's their policy to reschedule and they were not willing to find a way to help my daughter for her well check, after she had already missed an hour and a half of school for this appointment. The office manager, Elaine, stated that it's their policy to work help customers that show up on time, so they weren't able to help. I reiterated that the highway was closed and it was completely out of our control but we still showed up. She said once again, they have to prioritize that show up on time and they weren't willing to help me. They then rescheduled us for 8 weeks out! Horrible customer service form both Elaine and Sarah. I also saw them whispering about me and my daughter before and after I spoke with them - completely unprofessional. Again - Dr. Vangeti is wonderful - but we will be moving to a new office due to their unbelievably rude front desk staff. read more

What can I say? Dr. Berry truly cares about the health and well being of our child. It shows in every decision she makes, and I am truly grateful to have found her. My son is scared of most doctors, but not Dr. Berry! When I say scared, I mean SCARED. Like will not let them near him in any way, shape, or form. He trusts Dr Berry though, and you know what they say - kids can sense evil. Oh wait, that's dogs.... Either way, my son is a great judge of character! He saw her at Target once and just about died - the beloved Dr Berry, outside of the office. She is a rockstar. She listens well, and orders tests accordingly. She caught an infection previous doctors had missed on our first visit to the practice, just by being thorough. She does not over prescribe antibiotics, which I really appreciate. If she sees something that does worry her, she does not hesitate to act, so you know you are in good hands. I also like that the office is in the hospital, so if you do need tests done you can just go downstairs and get it all done in one place. :-) The nurses are also fabulous. Could not be nicer. They are so nice and understanding to my son who is nervous every time. By the end of every visit he is best friends with everyone in the office. For having a kid who is terrified of medical staff, I sure have a lot of good things to say...that should speak for itself, right? read more

Upon entering the office, there is a tiny waiting room with small plastic chairs. Sick and well patients are all combined. Despite that, we were optimistic given my research and the favorable reviews. We didn't get the warm fuzzies on our first visit, but thought maybe we just didn't know what to expect. While waiting to be seen for our second visit, my son started to cry. The receptionist took us back to the infant room, but then turned to another associate and said "I just wanted to get them out of here". Hopefully, she wanted that for us?!?, but it didn't set well with my husband. After the nurse came in, she took my son's weight and length. As she drew on the paper where my son was laying, we could see the markings for the baby before him. The paper had not even been replaced. When leaving, they mentioned my insurance and we reminded them that we were using my husband's insurance (I had not been sure in the hospital) and gave them the card again. The office staff just seemed off their game. We then decided (after no improvements on our 3rd visit-where we again confirmed the correct insurance and gave them the card) to change ped offices and have been very happy, but we weren't don't here yet. Over 2 months later, we got a call that we were being billed the entire amount unless we called our insurance to straighten things out because everything was denied. I asked which company they billed and was told that they had no way of knowing without contacting billing. I asked for them to contact the billing department or give me their # (I bet you can pick which one they choose). Hours later I got a call stating they had billed the wrong company. A couple hours after that... another call, asking for a copy of my husband's insurance card. Oh geez! read more

We've been going to Lone Tree Pediatrics since my oldest child was born 2 years ago. Dr. Berry and Dr. Vangeti are both knowledgable, trustworthy physicians who always take the time to address any questions or concerns we might have. You want the absolute best for your children and I can honestly say I look forward to our well baby visits! I love the new, roomier office - especially the newborn room with a comfy chair for nursing, which has really come in handy when soothing my now 2 month old after vaccinations. We recently moved 30 minutes away but will make the trek every time to continue receiving high quality healthcare from these wonderful doctors. read more

I love Dr. Roos period! My family has been with him (literally following him around from office to office and practice to practice) for at least 15 years. He has appropriately and diligently cared for all three of my kids (22, 11, 11). He has amazing bedside manner, listens, asks probing questions as all providers should and makes practical recommendations for care. He generally runs on time, but there have been a few times when we waited for a while. It's annoying but expected when dealing with a provider who listens to EVERYTHING you say without interruption. We loved Lone Tree Pediatrics ever since my daughter was born and last year I got a bill for 500 and something dollars so I called them and they said there were issues with the contract with my insurance but to keep using them as my daughters primary care and it will be resolved. Now six months later and I had to threaten to take them to small claims court in order for them to take the charges off. The billing department is a mess and no matter how many messages you leave they never call you back. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Especially If you are a first time parent...avoid this place like the plague! They NEVER and I mean NEVER answer their phones, they NEVER return phone calls, and their front office staff is extremely rude! My daughter (3 months at the time) had an ear infection, I finally got through after several hours, made an appointment, showed up, and they said I never had an appointment. They refused to see her! I tried speaking to the office manager and they never answered my calls nor returned my messages. When I came to the office, they were "not in the office." The front office staff, specifically one, was rude to me, rude to other parents, and even rude to other staff in front of patients. She clearly does not have children. She acts like it's a burden to her for being there. The physicians DO NOT know what they are doing. I brought my daughter in for "screeching " when breathing (she was a newborn) and they told me it was normal. I went back again the next day because it got worse and seemed like she couldn't breathe. They told me (same physician by the way) that it wasn't normal and sent us to a specialist? One day normal, one day not? Saw two different physicians for her newborn visit and one said she was "severely underweight " and I should be doing better breastfeeding and that maybe my milk wasn't good enough? Second physician said she was at a totally normal weight and I shouldn't worry? HOW?! Being a new parent is already stressful. Don't put yourself through more stress when going to this clinic. It is HORRIBLE! I've tried calling still to pay a bill and they refuse to return or answer my calls. Even if you are busy, answer or return calls! These are children! Parents go to you to trust their children with you, not to feel scared or ignored. I wish I could warn parents more and hope they read this review. Stay away from this place! read more

Always a good experience at both locations. Friendly staff and even when our preferred doc (Emily Vangeti) isn't available, the other docs we've seen have been awesome. On our last visit we saw Dr. Haynes, as my daughter was seen for an injury and then referred to pediatric ER. Dr. Haynes called us the next day to check in and make sure my daughter was ok. Definitely recommend both offices for pediatric care. They do a great job and you will leave feeling that your kids have been well cared for. read more

We switched to Lone Tree after our 2nd son was born. I had grown tired of the treatment I received at our previous Pediatrics office, I felt like we were "just the next patients". My OB is right next door so I just walked in, made an appointment and left. Needless to say, I'm so happy I stumbled in! Dr Vangetti is incredible! My 2 yr old had some recent trauma at Children's and disliked doctors to a tantrum level. She had him opening his mouth for her to check his throat! We usually have to pry it open. Beware, at my daughter's first visit to office, she was handed a piece of paper with 5 to 7 questions on it. The practice billed my insurance, which only covered half of the charge and billed me the rest. Excellent office as long as you are not doing an alternate vaccination schedule (ie: dr Sears). Very nice, but was told they only vaccinate doing their schedule per CDC guidelines. I ended up going to Pediatric Pathways... Much more open minded. read more
