I recently moved from Highlands Ranch and live an hour away from the clinic now, but I love my…read moredoctor and I have been extremely impressed by how well this clinic has run. I happened to be checking the traffic, because I need to make the drive there today and saw the recent reviews. I was shocked and felt inclined to post my experience. First of all I have a very complicated medical condition that I have been living with for most of my life (I'm 46 yrs), so I have seen a lot of doctors and been to many clinics over the years. I had a new and bizarre complication and no one was helping me, that's when I first came here. I have also worked in medicine since age 14, doing every position ranging from volunteer to receptionist, office manager to provider. I had never seen a clinic that ran as smoothly and as well as this one! And it's the reason that I make the drive still today. I have noticed some staff turnover lately and that happens in every clinic. It takes a little time for new employees to get to know the patients and get proficient with the policies and procedures, I can't imagine leaving the care of my doctor because of a one mishap. Although I can understand when there's something more important that goes wrong, it's important to discuss it with the office manager. Otherwise, they don't have the opportunity to make it right with their patient(s) or implement a needed change. I'm wondering how many authors of negative reviews actually did discuss the problem with the manager before posting a negative review? Was it one mishap and you left the great care that you had been receiving for years? And perhaps the rudeness that reviewers are referring to could have been a new employee-trying to learn a new job (we all know how difficult that can be) and their nervousness and being frazzled came across as rudeness-mistakenly? Misunderstandings do happen, especially when you don't feel well or you're concerned about your health. All that I can say is that this has been the one clinic that has always really tried to help me-without judgement and if anything slipped through the cracks (only once in nearly 4 years of treatment and the only time I needed to call to follow up), it was handled immediately, professionally and with complete sincerity. I couldn't ask for a better primary care physician or clinic! I'm very grateful to have found Park Ridge Family Medicine/New West Physicians in Lone Tree!! I can honestly say that they have been the best, most efficient and pleasant clinic that I have had in my circle of providers. And with a medical condition like Lupus, you bet that I have plenty of experience to compare them to! Thank you to all of the staff! I don't know what I would do without you!

They will not explain what triggered this charge. Nothing out of the ordinary happened during my visit. I'm going to be looking for another provider.

So much so that I have flown there! Over two years ago I was struggling with ongoing IBS issues and SIBO. It was difficult to find a pcp who took the time to listen to my symptoms or was willing to look at things deeper. Between the functional testing she ran and the various treatments she literally saved me. I no longer have fear surrounding food. I'm now seeing her for HRT which has been a game changer. I've seen other practitioners who would only prescribe basic hormone replacement and wouldn't run labs or consider bioidentical homones. I love that she takes the conservative approach to start as personally my hormones have been a delicate balance. I cannot say enough about the care I've received from Dr. Milling and Advanced Integrative. I've sent so many of my friends and family members to her. She"s thorough, caring and takes her time. This office is the perfect blend of Integrative and traditional medicine. The front desk staff is always friendly and there is just an overall happy vibe in this office. I highly recommend her!!!

The first 3 or 4 times I went in for appointments I was seen by Dr. Burrows. Since then I see his PA's most of the time. They are very knowledgeable and personable. I know if I really want to, I can make an appointment to see Dr. Burrows but I don't really see the need to unless I really think I have something crazy going on. The office staff is kind and personable. I get colds/flu often. When I need to go in and have it checked out, if I call when they open they can fit me in that day. It's fantastic! They either make space for you to visit or they purposely leave some appointments available open for patients like me. They call when it is time to schedule my preventative care/wellness visits. For someone like me, I forget unless they remind me. They also call and send text messages to confirm appointments.

As a result, I went four days without my medication. During that time, I experienced significant dizziness and other withdrawal symptoms that affected my ability to function normally and negatively impacted my performance at work. I understand the importance of follow-up appointments, but I wish there had been a safer way to prevent an interruption in a medication that I take regularly while I worked on scheduling the required appointment.

I have been going to RVFM for 16 years, well before the practice was sold by Drs. Piel and Post to…read moreDr. Garrison and if anything the practice is more outstanding now that it has ever been. Once you reach an advanced age you have definitely seen your share of doctors and once I found this practice and then Dr. Garrison there has never been a need to look any further. I support this practice completely - but that is my opinion. It is unfortunate to see the negative reviews for RVFM since they are one sided and only reviews of the practice and not of the patient writing the post. As a patient, we have as much responsibility for strengthening the relationship as physicians do - doctors are human and every relationship is a 2 way street. My relationship with my doctor is about my health, of course, but it's also about mutual trust, communication and understanding which is freely given at RVFM every day. It is troubling to read that patients feel RVFM does not respect their time, but conversely are you respecting theirs? As a patient, we have an "appointment", not an open invitation to stay as long as we want. It is also sad to read these because it is evident that there are those out there who in all their other relationships they strive to be polite, use good manners, listen, be honest and respectful but the minute they walk into their doctors office all of that goes out the window and they forget how to be human. Please consider that your relationship with your doctor is just as important and requires just as much effort. Ever heard the term, "walk a mile in their shoes..."? Some simple math demonstrates challenges faced by our Colorado PCPs. Our current population of ~ 5.5 million people relies on ~ 2500 PCPs. This means each full time PCP cares for ~2000 patients. If that PCP only sees each patient 1 time a year, that is 1 hour per patient per year. Doesn't add up does it? I will continue to recommend Dr. Garrison and her practice. She is truly a shining example of the ideal PCP.

Last year, they called to reschedule my annual days before the appointment. They wanted to love me back quite a bit. Sorry but, I am very busy too and have schedules that I have to work around so, instead, they loved me up 15 minutes. I proceeded to wait over an hour for the Dr and then was very rushed in the appointment. This year, I waited over 40 min for the doctor and was yet again rushed. Had to ask the staff twice if she was coming. I had questions about things which is what you SHOULD cover in an annual - who don see about... Dr Garrison, when she did finally show, was okay and said to send her a follow up not on the outlying things, including a test she knew nothing about and that she'd research and guide me. So, I sent the follow up note only to be chastised and scolded in the note response back. There were over three paragraphs of how I was a bad patient. For asking questions? Seriously? They proceeded to tell me that she spent 45 minutes with me, which is an absolute LIE. Dr Garrison might be good but, nothing is worth being treated as if you are the problem when all you need is help getting guided to the right place
