I've actually been coming here for about 15 years. They've changed ownership and systems multiple times. I come in at least every 6 months - it seems like you have to fill out new stuff every visit. They take a credit card to hold on file - and make you do it again less than a month later, even after making a card payment in their new system that requires you to fill out all medical history again. They can't or don't opt to migrate patient history fully from one system to another. They have a secure portal to review records, but don't allow data from e.g. Apple Watch with medical/health stats. I refer to their system for my medical history... if they don't know it and need me to update it after 15 years of regular visits and updates... maybe there's another place that can keep their system and records stable. There has seemed to be a sharp upturn in requests for more business and monetization of visits. To see the MD here vs NP or PA, you have to pay an extra $2k per year - even if you have a covered insurance plan. $$$ I'd suggest avoiding this office now, especially if you've got an HSA plan, poor coverage, or no coverage. read more

My provider was great. The practice manager, Mallory, and the billing are very sketchy. I went in for an annual physical, which is a $0.00 copay. But because I mentioned a few issues I was having and was prescribed new medication, I was also charged for an office visit, too, and had to make a copay. VERY poor practice. Isn't that what an annual physical is about - to discuss things that are good and things that are of concern? VERY DECEPTIVE PRACTICE. If I could give 100 stars, I would. I honestly can't believe any of the 1-star reviews I see posted here. It makes me wonder if it's the competition. I've been coming here since 2015 and have never had a negative experience with front desk staff, my doctor, my PA, or medical assistant, prescriptions are always called in when asked, I've never been billed inappropriately, they've helped me with several referrals and have triaged care well for me. Sure I had a visit once with a different doctor when I was sick and mine was not available and I didn't care for that doctor much but that's why that person is not my regular doctor. That happens. But I have seen 4 other doctors there besides my own and all have been caring, understanding and listened to my needs. read more

Lance is great. His nurse Sydney Hoffman lacks integrity. She lied to me THREE times. I asked for a refill and she said she would send it in. Nope. Took days to get. I asked for a tissue in office and she left and didn't bring it back. Lance had to message her for it. Then I messaged for another refill at noon on Friday and was told it would be handled at 2 PM, nope. Lied again. Never received the notification from my pharmacy that anything was done. Called the emergency line as it's now Saturday, and everyone I spoke to was defensive from the start. Yes I'm angry. Your practice, a medical facility, has a person that lacks integrity and is dishonest. Yes, let's continue to ignore the error and try to make it right and instead attack me for my attitude. This anger is a symptom. Not a cause. Had you not lied to me I would not be angry. Cause and effect. You like to ignore the cause. How convenient for you. Don't come here. Cynthia Peschong, Lance Jackson & Katrina Hazlett have all taken great care of me. Catherine Mennick was 30 min late, didn't apologiz, & was no help at all. The office staff should know not to book a phone appt for flu patients bc without a flu test bc they won't prescribe you anything. It was a complete waste of time and money. Catherine told me to take Tylenol: despite knowing I was on Day Quill! Then she said to take Ibuprofen: but that conflicts with an Rx I'm on. So she didn't read my file. She didn't even care that she couldn't help me. I was too sick to get out of bed for 2 days, but she said to come in for a flu test! She was the worst experience EVER! I have been a patient there for 20 years. My first visit after my provider retired was horrible, didn't listen to me at all, then prescribed something I never should have had. Obviously never looked at my file. Ended up in the hospital the next day. I have made so many calls and even went in to discuss the bill for the visit, they don't call me back and now they are threatening collections. I should talk to a lawyer. Unbelievable treatment. Review Titles: No Patience for Patient/No Care for Care. October 2023 I had a hormone pelleting procedure via Athena Health providers, attached to this practice. Today, Jan 2 in 2024, I am still dealing with infection, pain and discomfort. Management, DO and front desk have been dismissive and arrogant. The practice refunded my $650, and sent antibiotic scripts along with "care" assurances that have yet to "cure" the pain in my butt. I have been to physicians and emergency care at my own expense to be told they cannot help, and urge me to return to my original provider (now 10 hr-drive away, as I have moved). I joined this practice a few years ago, because my beloved long-time PCP, Dr. William Cooper, gave up his solo practice and joined LTFP. Then Dr. Cooper left, and LTFP joined OnPoint. I chose Catherine Mennick, NP, as my practitioner. I'm very happy with Catherine, and her new assistant, Stephanie, is wonderful. Dr. Cooper's assistant, Jackie, is still there, which is lovely. The front desk staff is also quite nice, and having a LabCorp office on-site is convenient. The LabCorp people have always been terrific. However, as several other reviewers have mentioned, LTFP has gotten quite expensive since joining OnPoint. Their prices have REALLY gone up for the same services as previously provided for more reasonable costs. I was billed not just for the check-up, but also for a "visit," since I asked them to look at a rash on my neck. This was an unpleasant surprise, to say the least. Dr. Cooper often ran overtime, would answer all questions, and didn't charge extra, so after many years with him, those were my expectations. This is not the case at LTFP. And that's why the three stars instead of four. I'm happy with the care from Catherine and her staff. I just don't like the high prices for self-pay. I did receive a discount, but the final bill, plus the blood draw charges, were beyond what I had expected to pay. I do realize that health is very important, of course, but the costs of health care in this country, both with and without health insurance, are a sad state of affairs. read more

I have been seeing the same Dr for 20 years. I scheduled a simple physical 4 months ago that is scheduled for next week. I just received a phone message that I have to reschedule because the Dr is now off next week. I called to reschedule, and I was told that I would have to wait another 2 months minimum FOR A SIMPLE PHYSICAL! What if I had a serious issue? The appointment scheduler on the phone clearly didn't care about this. When I told her I may need to seek another provider after 20+ years of seeing my Dr, her response was "ok, that's fine". Read the rest of the three-star reviews, and you'll understand my rating. Lone Tree's "bedside manner" is mediocre at best. They were pretty good when I first started going to them. When they merged with a big company, anything personable disappeared, replaced with a sense of "get 'em in, get 'em out." The medical assistants need a semester or two in charm school. I started on the very expensive BioTe. After the testosterone pellet was expelled twice, I thought again about this treatment. Even though Dr. Linares had protested, I have now gone back to compounded natural hormone replacement therapy (NHRT). It's easy to use a daily cream or take a sublingual tablet, it's reliable, and, with no down side, IT'S MUCH CHEAPER. I went to a new practitioner for the natural hormone replacement therapy (NHRT). She had blood drawn. A week later, she went over the results with me. (She had tested for everything. I went over those results again with my new primary care practitioner, who was amazed with the details.) The NHRT practitioner said, "I can't give you anything right now. You still have plenty of estrogen and testosterone in your system. Keep taking progesterone." -- Dr. Linares would have inserted more pellets a month ago, for about $350, WITHOUT a blood test to see if I needed more hormones or not. Terrible. The worst customer service and their bed side manner is horrible.. They won't see you if you are sick,only offer telemedicine appointments and in my experience don't show up for them. Additionally, they genuinely don't express an interest in getting to the cause of the problem, just want to push you through and get you out of the office. Also, I had a terrible time getting prescription refills. Lastly, they won't answer their phone or call you back on Saturday. I'm so glad I left there practice. This place is the worst PCP office I've ever been to in over 50 years. If you'll notice they don't even respond to these comments so you know they don't care. I had my first appointment after being in the hospital. The first nurse practitioner that saw me thought she was a comedian and joked the whole time when I was there for serious issues. The medical assistant was a snide jerk. The heavyset Dr. that runs, the practice is an abrasive nasty woman. I sat in that office today from 1 o'clock until 5 o'clock with no resolution for any of the issues I went there for. I waited for over 45 minutes for the phlebotomist to get back from lunch, but no one told me she was at lunch! They just kept telling me she would be with me in a few minutes. I sat in a room for over an hour after that while the nurse practitioner made some calls to verify some things on some medication. She never came back to update me or anything. Come to find out she didn't even call the doctors. she told me she was calling. I finally had to leave to pick up my daughter. I never did get a resolution on any of the health issues I went there for. I was asked to leave by woman and told my appointment was over. Not sure why I did nothing wrong. She is the first doctor I've had that makes me feel like my concerns are being heard and always provides very practical treatment options. She has a very calming and non-judge mental demeanor and I have referred several of my friends looking for a doctor to her as well. Last October, I saw PA Michelle as I was having issues with sleeping starting a few months prior during the summer. Blood tests revealed that I was in the late stages of perimenopause. At first I was really comfortable with Michelle. My friend recommended her and was being treated with Bio Identical pellets that really helped. I felt hopeful. Michelle used the results from my hormone blood test last July and prescribed a sublingual from a compound pharmacy. I didn't want the pellets. It was a combo of Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone and I believe DHA? The compound made my heart race non stop and I lost 10 lbs during Christmas season when I typically eat more. I couldn't relax or sleep with such a high heart rate so I went off as it seemed dangerous. When I saw Michelle next, she had an intern with her and she was pregnant. It wasn't a good experience so just mentioning the variables at play. She went into a monologue stating observations that I didn't agree with. When I jumped in to clarify she seemed very annoyed at my interrupting. I was exhausted and anxious from lack of sleep with a persistently high heart rate. I don't know why she got righteously indignant with me but as the patient it's not my job to soothe anyone's ego. I was really surprised and ultimately felt dismissed as if she no longer wanted to treat me. You'd think I was screaming at her like some crazy woman. Im still unsure why that interaction went down that way. Not sure if it's a cultural thing.? In NY where I used to live, it's more acceptable to interrupt and especially understandable when noticeably anxious, crying and upset. Anyhow, I asked if it were a good idea to take a more recent test of my hormone levels. She said "no" and that she suspected it was more psychiatric in nature. Hormones affect emotional being. How do you know if it was the chicken or the egg? I do have an anxiety disorder and on an anti depressant which helps. Since then, I had my thyroid tested- fine. A psych doc added Cymbalta and switched to Neurontin in an attempt to decrease muscle tension and help with sleep. Both made me feel worse and gave me heart palpitations. I've been running around in circles to no avail so I've given up in the hope that time will balance my hormone levels. Still, why not wouldn't repeat the hormone test? Something tells me I didn't get the right cocktail. I feel like maybe I'm just too sensitive but insomnia is draining and it's tough to hold a job with little sleep. Nothing works or it leaves me terribly sedated. I recently saw an article from Oprah that I can completely relate to. She also went for 2 years with similar symptoms and without much help from doctors until she discovered Bio Identical hormonal treatment. I'd like to try it again but fear I'll fail at it again and further diminish any hope. Besides, I keep getting one specialist sending me to another, running me in circles. I did like Michelle but something happened and it was as if I was untreatable because I was such a bad patient that wasn't responding to treatment. Patients look up to doctors and put their trust and health in their hands. With my confidence already eroded, this interaction played with my head and it's likely holding me back from seeking bio hormonal treatment again. No doctor (or PA) should make a patient feel that way. Dismissed, untreatable and as if the cause is purely psychological nor should they scold an anxious and crying patient. Perhaps more maturity or patient care training is needed. Parts of article by Oprah that is giving me hope again. "I've been having issues for two years that nobody can figure out. Dr Linares has been my Primary Care Physician for 14 years. In that time, she has become a friend as well as my doctor. I have seen both her and Dr Cedar over these years. When a surgeon removed the staples from an 8" incision too soon, Dr Cedar kept the office open so I could get there and get help. When my husband (also a patient) was killed, they were there to support me. My body shut down almost completely and with their expertise and actions, I am back to being able to function and thrive. I've worked with all of their staff members over the years and my referrals, prescriptions, insurance issues have always been handled professionally and competently. My insurance company is very difficult to deal with but they persist and get the issues resolved. I highly recommend taking advantage of their Signature MD program. I have access to my doctor 24/7, I get appointments when I want or need them, including same day requests. I get all the time I need with the doctor, sometimes over an hour. Both Dr Linares and Dr Cedar know me, know my medical history, and provide me excellent care. I highly recommend this medical practice. read more

I have never seen such unprofessional treatment by a medical doctor and medical practice in my life! Dr. Chandra Marshall, DO, despite being informed that a new patient had medical disabilities be extremely rude, dismissive, and condescending in her treatment of said patient. She repeatedly violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) multiple times in her attempts to intimidate the patient who was attempting to advocate for their own health care, and explaining the medical conditions they have dealt with for years, the treatments that have worked best, in order to inform Dr. Marshall what their needs were. When this was brought up to the owner of the practice, we were treated with more ADA violations as well as rude, dismissive attitudes. Stay away from this practice at all costs!! read more

I've been a customer....YES....I'm a paying customer (not a patient, a slave, or subordinate) for many years, and my wife and I have felt and experienced a decline in customer service. Maybe P.A's have become a dime a dozen. Maybe they're over worked, under paid and un-appreciated... None the less, their medical assistants' state demands based on insurance that is false and untrue and they in-turn demand things not required. I politely refuse to do their demands and they first get uppity (when I said no thank you) and when I said NO multiply times (politely) blame me for raising my voice based on their voice of frustration. (NO thank you, means NO) I'm not required to have a finger in my anus, nor take off my clothes, nor spread my legs nor check my weight or my BMI.(not that we haven't done these things before) but when we respectfully decline RESPECT IT!! I really like this practice. I have been a patient for almost two years. The office runs very smoothly, I never have to wait more than 5 or so minutes in the waiting room. I have seen almost a different doctor every time I have gone in - Dr. Linares, Dr. Dell'Armi and Dr. Cedars (the only male physician) have all been great and very personable. The best thing about this office as that they save add-on slots (even for adult patients, which would be me!) every day and if you need to be seen immediately they can get you in the same-day. Also, they are open after 5pm Monday-Thursday so you can go after work if need be, which I think is a really nice option for people with tough work schedules. I got a flu shot after 5pm and they were great! Definitely would recommend for a great family doctor! read more

I have done only a couple reviews and do so only when thoroughly compelled! I've been going to this practice now for just over one year now and am now certain they've exceeded any medical clinic I've been a patient with. The staff has always been helpful and kind. While in search for a new health clinic, after my doctor retired, I was recommended to Lone Tree FP, and specifically to Michelle by more than three separate friends. I can say, they were right and I too would recommend this clinic and specifically Michelle! Even after my first appointment I realized I was in good hands with her knowledge and excellent bed side manner. Beyond her medical knowledge, which is amazing, is her ability to show how she cares yet she is still balanced professionally. She consistently, with tact and care, asks the right questions and gives me complete comfort to be open about even embarrassing areas. As a male, areas I once would choose to avoid are now easier to speak about and I feel comfort in situations that previously were even with male doctors, let's say, were uncomfortable especially when the sun shines. I had a physical and Michelle and she was extremely thorough and answered all my questions. She took the extra time to make sure my concerns and questions were all covered. Even though I knew for certain that my appointment, and the time she spent with me going above and beyond, completely destroyed her schedule. She never-ever made me feel hurried or pressured or hurried me along. The ease in speaking with Michelle and her friendly nature along with her expertise all give me comfort in knowing that she'll be my medical expert for years to come. But along with the medical expertise the idea of not having to be nervous or anxious and instead looking forward to go to an appointment gives me good reason to make sure I recommend her and her clinic, to anyone that may need fresh start. They are definitely about patient quantity now and more concerned with $$$ than providing good health care. Worst experience EVER. Saw Michelle M. and I would never recommend her to anyone. Just an all around awful experience. I felt dismissed, undermined, and overall like since I wasn't interested in HER logic (which was illogical) that she had no time or energy for me. It was unbelievable. First time there today and she walks in the room and doesn't even introduce herself. I had no idea who she was. I made the appointment for a yearly physical and that is not what I got - I actually got a giant lecture on Hormone Replacement Therapy and how all of my menopause symptoms are just a part of life that I'm going to have to just 'live with' (I guess when the person who took my appointment and asked me if there was anything I was concerned about and I said I just had a few questions about my hormones and menopause made them think I wanted a HRT appointment? Although I was very clear about wanting a Yearly Physical.). I never wanted nor was even interested in Hormone Replacement. And then when she was done (doing nothing I might add - she didn't touch me, look at me, check me out - nothing), she just walked out of the room - no goodbye or anything. I had no idea what to do - do I wait for someone to come check me out, how do I even get out of here? A giant waste of time. And money. I will not go back. Back to another search for the elusive unicorn (a physician who will actually listen). Disappointing to say the least. read more

I just had my first visit to Lone Tree family practice. I came from another practice that I believe grew too big for the number of providers they had - appointments became very rushed and hard to get. It was easy to get an appointment at LTFP - I was expecting to have to wait as a new patient. The PA I saw was really thorough and took the time to listen to my medical history and ask questions. I needed a referral for a followup and was told it could take about a week to get, but the referral went through the next day! read more

I didn't have to wait and they saw me as soon as I got there. Monica Dell Armi saw me. She was the most thorough doctor I have EVER seen. She asked every question relative to my concerns. I truly wish in this situation that I had the option to select zero stars because this practice doesn't even deserve the one star. My previous physician retired and so I was on the hunt for a new doctor. I made an appointment with Lone Tree Family practice because it's close to my home. I went to my appointment with specific concerns I had and the nurse practitioner I saw, Catherine, ran some blood work and told me she would get in touch with me when the results were back and we would make a game plan. Needless to say, 10 days later, and after two phone calls and a message sent via their patient portal I had nothing back. Finally they uploaded the blood work results into the patient portal with absolutely no comments or "game plan" from the NP. I then left another couple voicemails as well as messages sent through the patient portal with essentially no response. I even called Dr. Lineras, who is one of the owners in the practice. I figured she would have a vested interest in hearing about my concerns with the lack of follow up I received but I never heard back from her either! I was pretty appalled at the way this practice handles their patients health concerns. My biggest disappointment is that I used my one preventative care visit that my insurance will pay for on this practice. I am no better off now than I was before I went. I am back on the hunt for a new doctor and hopefully one that will care because Lone Tree Family Practice clearly does not! read more

In previous practices there were similar front office staff problems: not getting Rx filled in a timely matter; making certain providers called back after requested called in, etc. But here when I "first" became a new patient they all seemed 'on top of things'. Now, after being a patient for almost 2 years the problems have started!! My Rx's are not being taken care of; they "forgot to call" (oops!); a poor attitude on the phone. Really try to appreciate their job as I was in medicine 27 years. I will give the doctors here Kudos for "listening" and taking the time with their patients and "seeming" to truly care about the whole person. The staff really needs improvement. I see Michelle and she is great. She keeps current on all the latest, she listens to all my comments and answers all my questions thoroughly and in a manner that I can understand, she is patient, has a great sense of humor, she explains the what and why of everything and she makes me feel that she is genuinely interested in me. She diagnoses well because she is thorough, listens to the patient and orders reasonable tests. If your are happy seeing a physician assistant then this is a great place. To see the doctor you have to pay extra for a concierge program. The staff have been kind and professional. They have recently remodeled and expanded. feel completely abandoned by this practice. It is very difficult to find a person to speak with, no appointment reminder. I am type 2 diabetic and had a upcoming appointment. I know they are going through changes but after going to one scheduled appointment and waited for a hour only find out that my provider was not even in the office on that day and after a second scheduled appointment with no reminder what so ever and looked on follow my health though given a appoint reminder card saw that there was no appointment scheduled for me on the date or time.
