I come in at least every 6 months - it seems like you have to fill out new stuff every visit. They take a credit card to hold on file - and make you do it again less than a month later, even after making a card payment in their new system that requires you to fill out all medical history again. They can't or don't opt to migrate patient history fully from one system to another. They have a secure portal to review records, but don't allow data from e.g. Apple Watch with medical/health stats. I refer to their system for my medical history... if they don't know it and need me to update it after 15 years of regular visits and updates... maybe there's another place that can keep their system and records stable. There has seemed to be a sharp upturn in requests for more business and monetization of visits. To see the MD here vs NP or PA, you have to pay an extra $2k per year - even if you have a covered insurance plan. $$$ I'd suggest avoiding this office now, especially if you've got an HSA plan, poor coverage, or no coverage.

I happened to be checking the traffic, because I need to make the drive there today and saw the recent reviews. I was shocked and felt inclined to post my experience. First of all I have a very complicated medical condition that I have been living with for most of my life (I'm 46 yrs), so I have seen a lot of doctors and been to many clinics over the years. I had a new and bizarre complication and no one was helping me, that's when I first came here. I have also worked in medicine since age 14, doing every position ranging from volunteer to receptionist, office manager to provider. I had never seen a clinic that ran as smoothly and as well as this one! And it's the reason that I make the drive still today. I have noticed some staff turnover lately and that happens in every clinic. It takes a little time for new employees to get to know the patients and get proficient with the policies and procedures, I can't imagine leaving the care of my doctor because of a one mishap. Although I can understand when there's something more important that goes wrong, it's important to discuss it with the office manager. Otherwise, they don't have the opportunity to make it right with their patient(s) or implement a needed change. I'm wondering how many authors of negative reviews actually did discuss the problem with the manager before posting a negative review? Was it one mishap and you left the great care that you had been receiving for years? And perhaps the rudeness that reviewers are referring to could have been a new employee-trying to learn a new job (we all know how difficult that can be) and their nervousness and being frazzled came across as rudeness-mistakenly? Misunderstandings do happen, especially when you don't feel well or you're concerned about your health. All that I can say is that this has been the one clinic that has always really tried to help me-without judgement and if anything slipped through the cracks (only once in nearly 4 years of treatment and the only time I needed to call to follow up), it was handled immediately, professionally and with complete sincerity. I couldn't ask for a better primary care physician or clinic! I'm very grateful to have found Park Ridge Family Medicine/New West Physicians in Lone Tree!! I can honestly say that they have been the best, most efficient and pleasant clinic that I have had in my circle of providers. And with a medical condition like Lupus, you bet that I have plenty of experience to compare them to! Thank you to all of the staff! I don't know what I would do without you!

Last year, they called to reschedule my annual days before the appointment. They wanted to love me back quite a bit. Sorry but, I am very busy too and have schedules that I have to work around so, instead, they loved me up 15 minutes. I proceeded to wait over an hour for the Dr and then was very rushed in the appointment. This year, I waited over 40 min for the doctor and was yet again rushed. Had to ask the staff twice if she was coming. I had questions about things which is what you SHOULD cover in an annual - who don see about... Dr Garrison, when she did finally show, was okay and said to send her a follow up not on the outlying things, including a test she knew nothing about and that she'd research and guide me. So, I sent the follow up note only to be chastised and scolded in the note response back. There were over three paragraphs of how I was a bad patient. For asking questions? Seriously? They proceeded to tell me that she spent 45 minutes with me, which is an absolute LIE. I called this morning about having chest pains yesterday morning, I explained my situation to the on call nurse. I said I would prefer to be Refered to a cardiologist instead of waiting in emergency all day as I wasn't currently having chest pains. I waited all day for a call back 3:10 it came in from the office, she the on call physician stated she had an appt at 4:00 pm and they could do some blood work and a EKG in the office. I said yes, I left work at 3:21 drove across town. To park Meadows from south-west Littleton. I got there at 4:12. They said well let us check to see if we can still see you as we have a 10 minute cut off time. I said I just booked this with the on call physician and immediately left work and came over here and drove across town. I don't have control over traffic. Bottom line they wouldn't see me! They said I could re-schedule or go to the ER! Very poor practice and this isn't the first time I have felt pushed to the side. I FIRED them! These physicians need to care more and have more compassion for their patients! I feel like all they do is paperwork and push their meds and vaccinations! It's disgusting!

The doctor I saw last week, Dr. Peters, did not check my abdomen for swelling or a mass after I made a same day appointment for abdominal pain. He prescribed over the counter antacids, even though I explained to him my mother had passed due to an undiagnosed abdominal mass. I would no longer recommend this office.

So much so that I have flown there! Over two years ago I was struggling with ongoing IBS issues and SIBO. It was difficult to find a pcp who took the time to listen to my symptoms or was willing to look at things deeper. Between the functional testing she ran and the various treatments she literally saved me. I no longer have fear surrounding food. I'm now seeing her for HRT which has been a game changer. I've seen other practitioners who would only prescribe basic hormone replacement and wouldn't run labs or consider bioidentical homones. I love that she takes the conservative approach to start as personally my hormones have been a delicate balance.
