I have been dealing with a billing issue with this office since November 2024. Finally, Shanevia in their central billing office in Georgia, was able to help resolve the issue. Dr. Ridgley's office billed my secondary insurance instead of my primary, even though I had been going there for years, with the same insurance. They also billed the incorrect codes. As well, they sent me a text reminder to the incorrect office which was 30 minutes away from where I was supposed to go. The doctor I saw last week, Dr. Peters, did not check my abdomen for swelling or a mass after I made a same day appointment for abdominal pain. He prescribed over the counter antacids, even though I explained to him my mother had passed due to an undiagnosed abdominal mass. I would no longer recommend this office. read more

This practice has been getting worse with each year. It seems customer service in general has deteriorated. No one seems to answer a phone call, you always get an automated system but now this office doesn't even answer their phone, my call went right to vmail. So I left a message on Friday, called twice with no return call. I tried calling again this morning before literally walking into the office & it went right to vmail. This has been very annoying actos the board. This office is no better. read more

I've gone here for a few years and I always feel so comfortable when I go in and almost look forward to going into the office. Jason and P.A Crump are the best and always take SUCH great care of me. Dr. Crump always makes a point of following up with me whether it's to check to see how I'm doing after a tough medical convo or to see how a medicine is working out, or to check in how I'm feeling. He takes such great care of me, always makes sure I understand everything and makes me feel like he is a teammate, in addition to a provider. And he is kind and hilarious. Same with Jason. I couldn't be more grateful for everyone at this office. read more

Tested positive for covid. Have pre existing conditions that put me at high risk. Called office to get an appointment to get put on antivirals ASAP bc they have to be prescribed within the first 5 days. Office couldn't see for 2 weeks and had no sense of urgency to help. Will be looking for a new doctor/internal medicine practice. read more

The front office staff continues to amaze me (so unpleasantly) with their unprofessional and rude demeanor. I just don't understand how they keep their jobs even though many patients complain of their lack of professionalism. They simply don't know how to interact with people. If you believe that medical care should involve grace, warmth, high attentiveness, and a high customer service ethic from ALL staff -- because, after all, we are not only patients but customers in a competitive market -- then "buyer beware". Please seek clinics that look at healthcare as a holistic experience. And, PLEASE, read the other one star reviews for this clinic that reference the very sad behaviors of the non-medical staff (and note that the vast majority of positive reviews are very dated and for who left long ago). These issues have obviously been going on for some time with no interest or action. Example: Several months ago I left a message with the office manager to express my concerns. My call was never returned. My "bad" for not leaving at that time. I am moving to another clinic asap. If you relish a DMV-style experience with non-medical staff, this is the place for you. read more

By far the most unprofessional doctor's office my family and I have EVER encountered. Receptionist is extremely rude to my husband, Quest for lab work, and even office where we are transferring my husband's medical records. The doctors did not diagnose my husband's lung cancer. There was a revolving door of doctors that didn't take the time to review his blood work for the obvious. He had a persistent cough for a year and never did a chest X-ray. Just put him on steroids. Pretty horrible situation. Thank God we went for a second opinion. As a result of the practices negligence my husband lost his lung. read more

I had been searching for a new doctor for about 4 months since mine retired. Another doctor of mine recommended alone Tree Internal Medicine aNd said any provider there is amazing. SO today I had my appointment. Dr. Shih was awesome I like her Philosophy, personality and bedside manner. She listened, cared, explained things, did I mention she listened. Really listened. I have been to many doctors who don't listen. She isn't one of them. The front desk ladies were awesome as was the medical assistant. I highly recommend this practice to anyone! read more

My husband went in for his yearly physical Dr Justin spent less than 5 minutes with him. hes 53 years old. didn't do anything other than go over blood results and listen to his heart and lungs. no ptostate check no examining of moles no feeling of his abdomen or anything else. it's like he had better thins to do. will definitely find a different doctors office read more

I just got hung up on by the rude lady at the desk. I tried to get a prescription refill since I am out of essential medicine and was willing to book an appointment and was just trying to get enough to last until a next Friday booking. The lady said I already gave you 30 days and you have to wait until your appointment. I said fill it or lose me as a patient and she said that's fine and hung up. This is how they act in the middle of a pandemic when people need medicine essential to life. Pay for a televisiit or no medication. They are on,y interested in the next patients money. It would have been very easy to refill the prescription and book the appointment at the same time. I'll go elsewhere but hopefully I do ok until I can get my prescription. By the way this is the second time I had to battle. They were demanding a televisit last time despite the fact that I was without employment or insurance. The televisit was $80. Useless. read more

This office has been going through some growing pains since we joined the practice, about a year and a half ago. Dr. Yang, Dr. Lenhart and Dr. Daeke and apparently Dr. Scala all moved on. That is quite a turn over. We have waited patiently for Dr. Shih to arrive and my DH and I so far have felt like we were in good, caring hands with her. Last week I met and received conscientious, thorough care from Dr. Ridgley. I believe they both arrived from out of state. Sadly, Colorado has quite a deficit of Internal Medicine Physicians. As a native it is upsetting to see so many practices being eaten up by big conglomerates who will never serve the public in the way we historically knew and trusted our Drs. well. My husband and I are optimistic that LoneTree IM will become a solid practice. Each Dr. seems to be somewhat specialized, and I am glad they are here. read more

This was my second visit with Jessica Ridgely as a health care professional myself this DO DOC lacked emence amount of medical knowledge , go in today they put me in a room for 40 minutes she still hadn't come in I got up and left my time is valuable there was only one other patient and me in the room I heard her say goodbye to him that was after 15 mins where did she go beyond rude and disrespectful of my time, BTW as of today all the Doctors have left the practice Ridgly is the only one there I asked the people at the front desk what happened the one lady said well doctor so and so we don't even know where she is she left the practice as soon as we hear from her if we ever do we will send a letter out to her patients, the first NP I saw has quit as well a year ago, I'm Now looking for a new doc one that cares and knows their stuff this Jessica Ridgley I would not send anyone too BTW if you ask her questions she really doesn't answer them that was my first visit with her!!! Front office staff are bitches on wheels MA'"s don't even know how to put a BP cuff on!! Stay away no docs there anyways but Ridgley who needs to go back to med school!! read more

It's really too bad that this doctors office has changed so much. I was a patient of this practice for years and after a medical emergency in their office they threw me out like a bag of trash. Dr. Scala was fine as a doctor but yet still agreed to tossing me out as a patient even after writing him a personal letter which was never responded to. Catherine the P.A. was really great, she's an ANGEL! I was brought to this doctor when I relocated to Colorado with great expectations from a family member. I can say that things were GREAT until this Dr. Yang arrived and all of the staff relocated. Really 99% of the staff is GONE. I guess the patients are also being tossed out. Don't invest your time in this practice, they wont invest there time in you! You risk being just tossed out. The acting manager even called me and said that they had made a mistake in releasing me as a patient but since they already did it they are sticking with their decision. Unbelievable! Disappointing experience. The front office staff were very curt and unfriendly when I called to schedule a physical, they told me I had to have an initial consultation first but couldn't get me in for a few months. At my appointment the two ladies at the front desk were even more unfriendly, I felt like I was bothering them by showing up. The waiting room was sparse and somewhat cold, reminded me of sitting in the DMV. I was surprised that my initial consultation was with a Nurse Practitioner instead of the doctor - I realize it's common to see Nurse Practitioners these days, but you would think the doctor would like to meet new patients and understand their needs. The NP was very nice and did the consultation along with a quick physical, then reviewed my current prescription for the lowest dose of Ambien, which I had brought to show her. I told her I only take this med occasionally when traveling, and only half dose -  my refills typically last about 6 - 8 months.  She offered to refill, but I told her I still had some and would call when needed. Two months later I requested the refill, this resulted in the front staff calling to inform me that Dr Ridgley needs to see me every 3 months if I am going to take this med and I had to schedule that appointment then. I told her that was absurd because I only refill twice a year, and she has to approve every refill so she would know if I was abusing it. I understand requiring an annual physical, I might also understand wanting to see me every 6 months, but 3 months is excessive and expensive - perhaps they just want the money. The lady who called was very unfriendly and said "Well that's our policy, I'll tell the doctor", then hung up. I switched to this office from an office I loved because of an insurance change, I'll definitely be switching again. I do NOT recommend this office. read more

I love the doctors and nurses at Lone Tree Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and if this review were about them, I would rate them five stars. This review is specifically about the front office staff and in particular Lydia. She is unpleasant every time, condescending, unwelcoming and sarcastic. It is unfortunate to have any contact with her whatsoever. She would be better suited in a windowless office with no customer contact. I have visited many practices and have never met anyone as unpleasant. If she is the face of the office, the office needs a facelift. read more

Worst Company to ever deal with! No one knew which doctor I was supposed to see when I was there, but regardless a year and a half later I receive a bill. I paid all the bills as I got them and they send me a bill on 01/2015 for services in 10/2013! The bill states I will be sent to collection if not paid. Would be nice if they TIMELY billed their patients. So glad to be with Kaiser now. Will never go back. read more

I had my annual appointment for a blood pressure follow up to confirm proper medication. The medication was still working and the doctor recommended that I continue to check my blood pressure at home. I picked up my three month prescription and when I went to refill the pharmacy indicated that there were no refills. I called and the office staff and they notified me that there were new regulations that required I come in every three months. I asked when these new regulations had gone into effect (since last year I went to one appointment and I had a prescription for the entire year) I was told that these new regulations were set in the last three years. I was then transferred to a nurse who denied any such regulations but let me know that the doctor (who is no longer with the practice) wanted me to have a physical and my medication was now contingent upon coming back. I am now out of 'blood pressure' medication and the office has not called back. Stopping this prescribed medication can have serious health complications that could be life threatening. I will not be returning to Lone Tree Internal Medicine. read more

I just had a new patient visit with Jen Graff, the NP, and she was great! Zero wait time and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.

My insurance provider showed this practice as accepting new patients, so I selected them as my primary care. When I called to make my first appointment (in early June), the person I spoke with confirmed that they take my insurance and that they were, in fact, taking new patients. Then she informed me that the first available appointment with a physician was in December, or I could see the Nurse Practitioner in September. I would argue that this means they are NOT accepting new patients. If you can't see a new patient for a minimum of 3 months, that's not accepting new patients. read more

I have been so pleased with Dr. Scala. He really listens, is incredibly knowledgeable and respects my input into my children's care. I also think his front office and nursing staff are great, which is important to me. A year ago I found this wonderful doctor, Dr. Yang. However, this week I had an appointment and saw a new MA that they had hired. She was awful, she lectured me on taking my medication, she argued with me and when I stood up she claimed I was in her face, walked out, came back and threw my prescription on the chair saying she wouldn't talk to someone who was in her face. This was a horrible experience and I will not go back. I am traumatized by this experience. I felt I had found this wonderful place. However, my doctor, who was there at the time, didn't not even come to see if I was okay or how she could be of help. Also, I was never examined and am still in a lot of pain because this MA would not listen. I do not recommend this practice with all the new changes that they have put in place. A medical person should never treat a patient the way I was treated. read more

The receptionist said that they couldn't see me because Dr. Yang wasn't taking new patients and besides, there wasn't enough time in the appointment to see a new patient. Dealing with the team at Lone Tree Internal Medicine is a GREAT experience, from start to finish. Both my son and I are patients of Dr. Scala primarily, and we really appreciate and respect his medical knowledge and human-ness. The entire office are wonderfully helpful, efficient, effective and above all: caring. And I might add: this is easily seen in that Lone Tree respects its patient's time and concerns.
