I'm brand new here, but Dr. William Furr is "The Man!" He is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I was honest with him about my many many many shortcomings, and he was honest with me... AND understanding! I still don't know why people lie to their doctor or their dentist. Just admit you don't floss, and they'll know better how to help you the 3 times you visit in your lifetime. I've been seeing Diana Milling for over eight years. I initially started seeing her in Wisconsin and have had such great care that I still continue to work with her in Colorado. So much so that I have flown there! Over two years ago I was struggling with ongoing IBS issues and SIBO. It was difficult to find a pcp who took the time to listen to my symptoms or was willing to look at things deeper. Between the functional testing she ran and the various treatments she literally saved me. I no longer have fear surrounding food. I'm now seeing her for HRT which has been a game changer. I've seen other practitioners who would only prescribe basic hormone replacement and wouldn't run labs or consider bioidentical homones. I love that she takes the conservative approach to start as personally my hormones have been a delicate balance. I cannot say enough about the care I've received from Dr. Milling and Advanced Integrative. I've sent so many of my friends and family members to her. She"s thorough, caring and takes her time. This office is the perfect blend of Integrative and traditional medicine. The front desk staff is always friendly and there is just an overall happy vibe in this office. I have been going to this place for years now and Im incredibly disappointed. In short, they just want to make money and don't care about the patient. You will notice that, by the way they interact with you on the phone and the way they treat you personally too. I was being treated for UTI. They sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy 3 times. I called them 3 times confirming the location but they still sent it to the wrong pharmacy. After getting the antibiotics(which was taken for about 3 days, not long) the problem wasn't solved. I got charged more than 1k just for the urine exam. After I told the doctor that the UTI symptoms didn't get much better, she said we would have to run the exact same exams again. Even though they just examined me. Which would charge me again over $1k. All this hassle just for an UTI. And it didn't get solved. Go somewhere they will take good care of you, not here. read more

I've been seeing Katie Young for 3 years for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Initially she was great and listened to my concerns. However as time went by, she continued to increase the dosage of one hormone and decrease the dosage of another without sound evidence. Although she ordered blood tests, I later found out the tests were the wrong tests because they didn't accurately measure the hormones in questions. So basically, she was just pulling numbers out of the air and essentially over medicating one hormone and under medicating the other. If she didn't advertise that she was a "hormone specialist" I could overlook this. But she does present herself as specializing in hormones. So, I'm sure she is a great PA in other areas of medicine, but do not trust her with your HRT! read more

I've had a very unpleasant experience while working with Advanced Integrative Medicine. While Dr. Hepp was lovely, I found the front office to be incredibly disrespectful and difficult to work with. After getting a quite a few blood tests done, I received no response or reach out from my doctor after the results arrived. I actually heard back from my insurance with the bill and Quest Diagnostics who sent my results before they went to the patient portal (mind you they still are NOT on the patient portal). How strange is that? When calling the front desk, the woman I have spoken to 3+ times stated, I'll send Dr. Hepp a note and she'll give you call today. I have yet to receive a call 3 days later. A call from an NP or anyone on her team would be perfectly acceptable as well, but no, zero communication. Most recently the woman at the front desk stated "Dr. Hepp isn't in today" - how would I know that? Why wouldn't you say that upfront to set expectations? Additionally, I witnessed that the front desk and rest of the staff members trash talk patients while you're standing right next to them. They will grab your height and weight and at the same time be talking about another patient. It's incredibly shameful behavior and poorly managed. The doctors seem to be high quality when you can actually be face to face with them, but the rest of the experience is terrible. read more

I've been seeing Katie Young for several years now. I first went to her to help get my hormones balanced. Every time I've been to her, she listens to my concerns and takes action. I have waited a week to write this review to get my head back on straight after a terrible experience with Diana Milling. She was late as usual. (Every time I come she is late and I try and give myself extra time and patience knowing this happens. I also schedule myself early in the day in the hopes that we will be close to my scheduled times appointment). 45 minutes after my appointment time I check in with the front desk and they went to find out. She comes back and says she still has a client waiting to be seen before me. The receptionist proceeds to tell me that I can reschedule if I need to go. (ummm, not doing this again). I finally get brought back. The only bright spot was the lovely assistant who came in and took my vitals. She apologized for being late and we chatted about how frustrating it can be. When Dr Milling came in she said hello and did not even acknowledge the tardiness and jumped right into reading my results (which by the way I had to call the office and try and have them send them to me and do all the follow up which I believe they should have told me my results were in). I asked her if she has any experience dealing with my diagnosis naturally as she was only providing me with an antibiotic treatment and nothing natural. She looked at me and said "I am a naturalpath". Things went down hill from there. I explained that I knew that and that I have been happy with her testing and protocol for other things we have needed. I also mentioned it is very frustrating how late the appointments always are. She said they are a very busy practice and if I want to go and try and find another natural path that takes insurance good luck. And then she left... needless to say I was/am very upset and will never go back. read more

Katherine walks in and first thing that she says over and over is "I can't!" referring to the sound of my daughters show. I turned the volume down and explained the issue I was having. She barely looked at me and honestly I'm not even sure if she was listening. She prescribed medication that did not at all match the issue I had. She is rude and wasn't helpful. read more

I have been a patient at this medical facility for 15 years. I have been very happy with my physician, Dr. Help and would highly recommend her. However, the reason for the 3 star rating has nothing to do with any interaction with my doctor, but because today when I went to office, none of the staff were masked. When I questioned the receptionist, Mandy, she told me that the staff is fully vaccinated, Douglas County doesn't require masking, and personal preferences were the reasons. It's doubtful that all patients are fully vaccinated and boosted. Children younger than 5 are not eligible to be vaxxed. My brother as well as a woman friend, both fully vaxxed and boosted, came down with COVID during Christmas holiday. My friend is still suffering symptoms. Being fully vaccinated is not a guarantee. Despite being fully vaxxed, the virus can still be transmitted. As a former registered nurse, I find it astonishing that a medical facility is displaying such irresponsible behavior. Called before my appointment to make sure the PA was running on time to coordinate my ride. I was told she was and they'd call if anything changed in the next 15 minutes. I have been going to AIM for over 10 years. First of all--Shout out to Dr. Milling who saved me! And did so in the most respectful way. She is absolutely, hands down the best doctor I have ever seen!! she is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. It is so refreshing to feel like you are being treated by someone that knows what they're talking about. She always follows up and does everything possible to find a healthy solution. Also, Mandy at the front desk is so helpful and always gives me the information I need. Plus she always makes you smile. But today was THE worst. And based on the other reviews I read, I am not alone in this.... WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT see Katie Young PA. Her info page claims that "she believes that patients should know their wide variety of options.." Which is a total joke. She is nothing short of a complete dummy and BEYOND rude. She has nothing intelligent to say, and will NOT be listening to your actual symptoms before implementing her careless thoughts as an "expert". However, she will write you a script after seeing you for 3 minutes (without a true diagnosis or even fully knowing the symptoms) and send you on your way with a bunch of pills that don't actually resolve the issue and in this case made the problem significantly worse. She is unprofessional and I do not trust her judgment. She has very little urgency. Her attitude is below poor and she is quick to snap at you and become irritable if you ask simple questions for clarification. Not impressed. read more

Dr. Furr is awesome and spends a lot of time with us at each appointment even though my kids are healthy. He really digs in to how they're doing emotionally and developmentally, not just physically. My husband is seen here as well and I love that they found natural solutions to some of his issues rather than pushing a prescription. I have been going to the doctors here, since February in which the staff is very nice. They are great to talk to on the phone in which you can actually get a live person rather quickly. Also, you get a call back if you leave a message for one of the doctors and they will fill out any extra paperwork required by you employer or insurance company in a timely manner. Took my wife to see Dr. Dennis Furr because she was having neurological symptoms suspicious for MS. He conducted a brief basic neurological exam, admitted she needed a referral, and had us out the door in 15 minutes. He proceeded to charge us for a "new patient" appointment without a proper, thorough physical exam or even blood work. Additionally, he never wrote the referral as is required by the board of medicine. I had to contact the office manager and make a complaint in order to get the referral. They put me in such a mess it's awful. First I went to get blood test to get my refill on ADHD medicine and depression medication. The nurse on staff said they will send it to a lab in- Network for me so I signed the papers and was on my way. UNTIL I GET A CALL FROM MY INSURANCE SAYING I OWE 695 dollars FOR A DRUG TEST THAT ADVANCED INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE SENT TO DRUGSCAN..THAT WAS OUT OF NETWORK FOR ME! and I had 2 weeks to pay it! I'm just out of college adult with no mommy or daddy help this was a wtf anger situation. After 12 phone calls back and forth! The doctors "accidentally" sent mine to that lab because it was in network with another client insurance named lauren smith.... they payed it. Everything was fine until I needed those results sent to my psychiatrist. It took them 3 WEEKS TO SEND THEM to my doctor and another 3 weeks to send the doctors note to psychiatrist. I still don't have my medication because the doctors note was the wrong one... I've gone almost two months without my medication and they clearly don't care. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GO HERE! read more

I really liked my staff, but when setting up my 1st appointment, the front desk told me there would be no deductible. That's why I eagerly took an appointment with their NP. When I received their bill for my visit, I went online and asked about it. The responder told me not to worry about it; I don't owe. At this point, I should have been suspicious, but it wasn't until I got a bill the next month that I called them directly. They claim they wouldn't have said that; that 1st visits always get billed. I believe that this is the norm, but no, that's not how it went down in my case. I need to share my screen shot of their online reply about my 1st bill soon. For the time being, just know that 1st medical visits ALWAYS bill, no matter what their front desk claims. What's more, I gave them access to my previous doctors' labs so they could prescribe me meds. The NP & I were clear on that before I left the office. Nope, they need to run labs of their own now. And I thought I was being thorough & asking the right questions. Do you see a recurring theme here$? Too bad, K was sweet and Gena seemed capable. I made my bed & that's where I'll lie - I'm going back to my old doctor & paying out of pocket whatever it takes to not have this crappy deductible plus crappy office. What was once a nice practice to visit has become a mess. I called to get a normal prescription refilled and after 24 hours I was called back by a medical assistant named Michelle, but not to say that my prescription was ready, but rather to tell me that I needed to make another appointment before she would inform my practitioner to call in for the refill. Had she taken any time prior to calling me she would have seen that I already had an appointment scheduled. Michelle has been extremely accusatory in the past and would rather waste time being a hall monitor than actually helping patients because of this incident I was forced to travel without my prescription. When I called later to request the status of my prescription I was passed off from one assistant to the next and never allowed to speak with my doctor or the office manager. read more

Was sent to call billing person who then forwarded me a number for collections. Collections could not find me anywhere and sent me back to office who said i can't make an appointment....ever. 6 hours of calls to be treated like a scammer. I can't tell you how happy my husband and I are to be back in Colorado to be in the care of Dr. Randall Snook. We recently left the beautiful mountains of Arizona to be back with family and exceptional medical care. At our age (70s), keeping healthy and receiving excellent health care is so important. We left CO in 2010 for retirement in FL and AZ after many years under Dr. Snook's care. We found out that we not only missed our kids/grandkids, but also the confidence we had in our CO doc. Made me come in for results I could have gotten on line. Dr. Milling was not prepared for my appointment. They lost my lab result. Wasted my time for 20 minutes looking for them. Then billed me for that time. I received incorrect information over the phone regarding a test.Their assistant wasn't wearing a mask. Left 4 messages regarding this bill and they haven't called me back, they just sent me another bill. I would advise you to go somewhere else. They have admitted to making errors and refuse to correct them and keep sending bills. Dr. Snook: friendly and helpful Dr. Furr: warm, personable, excellent listening skills, a great doctor all around Dr. Hepp: Friendly, helpful, listens well. Jody Gahn: She is the physician's assistant to see if you need someone sharp and caring. Katie Young: Not impressed. She misdiagnosed a member of my family and insinuated some things about him that were far from the truth. She seems a bit irritable and doesn't listen well to concerns. Her attitude is that she is the expert and you are not. Office manager Mrs. Snook: Forget trying to resolve a problem with her. She is defensive and accusatory. Diane M. and Dr. Furr are professionals, caring and hard working HOWEVER their front office in general (appointments, follow up, billing, etc.) and especially their office manager Julie Snook who apparently is married to the primary Doctor there so won't be going away anytime soon is the biggest problem. Unfortunately, since the front / back office and manager are critical to the customer experience they ruin the good work done by Furr and Milling. I started coming here to see a nutritionist to help me loose weight. Dr. Scott McDaniel helped me loose 15 lbs. Still working on it! I decided to switch to advanced integrated medicine for my primary care. Dr Jodi was very friendly and I had a seamless visit for my annual physical. This practice was wonderful but things have changed. Long review but read it, it may save you some headaches. The front office and billing is ridiculous. We had to fight with our insurance because they submitted the claims incorrectly. They tried to bill us for co-pays after incorrectly applying the money to outstanding claims and we had to provide our credit card receipts to prove we paid the co-pays at the time of our visits and that they were applied incorrectly to other items. Eventually my wife was refused an appointment because of the outstanding bill that was submitted incorrectly and we are still fighting with the insurance company about. They asked that we 'make a good faith payment' and they would reimburse us. Given that they have been through 3 billing companies in 2 years and have repeatedly applied payments incorrectly, there is no way I was going to trust them with my money. In another incident they refused my appointment because I had a temporary insurance card (my employer had changed providers). In a 3rd I called and asked for copies of my records for a specialist, I had to leave a message. After 2 days of no response I called and was told the following: 1) Fridays and Mondays are really busy and records probably would have called me back Tuesday. 2) By Law they have 10 days to provide the records. I'm not sure who wants to wait 3 days just for a call back from their Doctor's office but I don't and to say they don't need to do better because of the law is pretty poor customer service. I don't see anything changing because the head of the practice's wife is the front office manager and complaints fall on deaf ears. In addition they hard press to sell their teas and were advertising female hormone replacement on a placard on the road in front of the office. It really has become a practice that seems more about the buck than the patient. read more

So disappointing. My daughter suffers from extreme headaches. Not only did the receptionist NEVER say a word to me ( I had to finally tell her I was there for an apt, as I was standing in front of her, but after the doctor tried to treat her and ordered an ultrasound, they called days later and confirmed what they thought. She has hyperthyroidism.Sleeplessness, sweating, severe headaches, and every other symptom.....I asked what we should do? The doctor said no other treatment is necessary. Wtf did we do the ultrasound for? Meanwhile, she has to leave school everyday because of the headaches, and just let stand her job because of it. What exactly is their job? Order tests? Bill insurance? Don't treat patients? Despicable. I really wanted to like them. read more
