Dino the guy I talked to on the phone was so disrespectful and rude for no reason. I wouldn't go there if they paid me!!!

I am a disabled vet, and use the Aurora, CO location because of the doctor that runs the clinic. I submitted for approval to be seen at Alpria, and it took over 4 months for the clinic to get back with me to schedule an appointment. Upon scheduling the appointment, I was called back the same afternoon, informing me that my appointment needed to be moved because of snow that is forecasted. I was told that my appointment would be moved to the next available slot, some 3 hours later. Nevermind that once someone gives me a scheduled appointment time, a couple of things need to happen. 1. I have to schedule the time off of work, because like the vast majority of Americans, I have to work in order to survive. 2. I then move other appointments around so that I can accomodate this new appointment. When an appointment is rescheduled, I then have to go back and redo things all over again, and feel like an idiot having to change the time that I schedule off of work. All of this is bad enough, but when the very next day I am contacted to reschedule my appointment again, I have to draw the line. If patients cannot be accomodated, and expect to be seen when they are told they will be, then something needs to change. The receptionists hung up on me twice, and were giggling in the background while I was explaining my frustrations with them. Today, I am a feeling astonished. I have always spoke highly of this clinic, and today I was given a clear picture of what unprofessionalism looks like. As I mentioned before, I have never recieved anything less than stellar service from this location before. It appears that they have some new staff members, and it is a shame to see this clinic become what it has. read more

Avoid. Staff is beyond ignorant. Be prepared to clean up after their messes and to unfortunately be given outright false medical information by the facility "Doctors." read more

I actually give Allpria health a negative 10. I had a facet joint injection scheduled. Well the day I was suppose to get my shot I called and canceled 2-3 hours earlier due to my oldest dog being very sick that morning. I called and cancelled my shot appointment cause I had to take her in as an emergency. i also had to cancel my mammogram that day. I called the surgery center to let them know I couldn't make it because I had a family emergency and that my dog was very sick. So got her in as an emergency. They gave me meds for Katie and to see how she does in 24-48 hours. Tuesday morning nothing had changed with My sweet katie and had to bring her back in as an emergency and ended up having to put her to sleep that morning. So because of my very sick dog the office manager Desiree said they won't be able to schedule another shot cause I canceled the day of my shot. So money is more important than taking care of my very sick dog. I guess money trumps everything. It's the most important thing over a very sick dog. I just hope the office manager Desiree never has a family emergency to where she would have to cancel a procedure due to a very sick lifelong Baby Angel. Money is the most important thing to Allpria health. She cold and heartless. read more

I have bren coming here for several years, i transferred to the company to follow a very loved nurse practioner Charmin Soberg. Recently she left for another company. I was left trying to decide if i would follow, like i have for 5 years. Since becoming disabled with cronic tarsal tunnel symdrome and crps( complex regional pain syndrome) i have struggled bigtime dealing with this condition. At times it truely takes me to the dark side the pain level is so bad. Recently i had a cortizone shot done in my left hand and met the owner Dr Frandrup. To meet someone that has the same cronic issues as me, the same areas, overwhelmed me. Unless you have cronic pain you will never understand how huge this was. I love my Charmin but decided to stay because of Dr Frandrup and of couse all his staff . I know my condition will never go away but having a doctor that deals with what i deal with is huge for my mental state.. Look past all the negitive reviews here. Follow the rules or you will get the boot and no one is to blame but the person breaking the rules!!! read more

Rules for thee but not for me! If you read their directions you will see that there favorite word is reschedule. If your paperwork is not filled out and you don't get here and enough time you will be rescheduled, if you show up 15 minutes late you will be rescheduled if you do not give 24-hour notice you will have to reschedule and you will have to pay a $50 cancellation fee to be able to be seen. I followed the directions to the letter. Get up at 6:45 a.m. to get there by 7:50. Appointment is at 8:30 they open at 8:00. I was told that I had to get rescheduled because the doctor called in. No reason but whatever doctors get sick however am I going to get compensated 50 bucks next time I get there probably not. No text no call nothing just oh sorry doctor couldn't make it in you're going to have to reschedule. But oh no the world's going to end if a patient does that and they have to get charged for it what a joke. read more

I was referred to Dr Nguyan after coming to the realization that my pain managment Dr of 9 years was not listening to me it was a very difficult decision. Dr Nguyen not only took the time to listen to me about my concern about condition but offered me other non narcotic options that worked!! His expertise in the field is amazing he not only shows that he is a truly knowledgeable in pain management he truly CARES about his patients. He has been given a gift of healing. Dr Michael Shell is an awesome Doctor. He is caring and listening to you about your concerns. You are apart of your treatment plans. He doesn't just dope you up with meds which is what I didn't want like my prior dr did. He also was patience while I ask him questions about my health. I am glad he is my dr. I was scared to go to dr because of the bad experiences I had with last dr, but he had me laughing it was a good experience for me. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

Dr. Frandrup never gives up trying to relieve the pain I was in. Through a series of dry needling events, he determined that my pain was being caused by tight muscles in my hip and butt. Next he tried botox injections into those muscles to shut them down for a couple of months and I am out of pain. Now I have the band width to get stretching/rolfing/PT to stretch those muscles out and be put of pain permanently. He used an innovative approach to solve my problem. Brilliant!!!!! read more

Dr. Nguyen spent an incredible amount of time with my son who has a very complicated pain management situation after an accident. He met us in the waiting room and during the consultation reviewed all of the records he had for my son. He spoke directly to him which was awesome. He explained everything in very easy to understand terms even though we've been dealing with this for over 4 years. His level of acumen in regard to spinal cord injuries and medicine in general was quite evident during the consult. It was also heartening to know he did his training at University Hospital and was familiar with many of the other Pain Management physicians in the area. Even though Dr. Nguyen will not be able to help my son personally, he was able to recommend another physician who may. Overall, I'd highly recommend Dr. Nguyen particularly from a knowledge perspective. His staff, to include Tonya and Chrystal were very helpful in getting the appointment scheduled. They do have a rather wonky computer system that sends repeated texts messages and emails, but I'm sure they will get that worked out very soon. 5 stars! Truely Amazing! I am a veteran and over the years within the VA system, just for my pain/treatments I was seeing 3 diffrent doctors(feet, knees, back etc.) 6 months ago my new PC doctor whom is closer to my residence, referred me to an outside pain management specialist, saving much time/resources in the VA's interest(not having to see 3 diffrent doctors), and for the best interest of me the patient! I feel fortunate the VA offers such service, which is done via Community Care Program( called the Choice program prior). TriWest is the 3rd party managing it all now. I did some research online and made a couple calls to Anshutz Medical, whom I used for my cancer, and it did not take long to find Allpria Healthcare-Dr Christopher J Frandrup..Dr Frandrup has so much experience within the VA system, even educating VA staff from what I heard. My first visit at his office, Allpria Healthcare, along with his staff and medical team was amazing! They all got right down to business, ordering me MRI, updating my medical history, and made sure I clearly understood anything I inquired about! They went an extra mile to make sure my anxiety/fears of being a new patient was essential. I was impressed how they had instant access of communication with VA, TriWest, and my PC doctor..As a new patient nothing changes as far as following all updated State/Federal mandates. I appreciate how their staff is always a step-ahead of everything with my appointments/treatments due dates for follow-up shots etc! For example, extention for another 6 months was approved and I was provided a copy of it even before TriWest sent me theirs. All of us know how tuff it gets being a patient and trying to keep up with everything and communicating. I can tell you this, with Dr Frandrup, they grabbed me by the hand in this dark room I thought I was in(new clinic, doctor etc.), and before I knew it, they turned on the light and showed me their is nothing to worry about! Clearly my treatments and continued ways of managing my pain are barnone, and I thank them for their service. read more

Allpria gives old school medicine in a "just numbers" medicine! I cannot day enough wonderful things about Dr Nyung and Allpria's program and staff! He spend all the time I needed to explain exactly what was going on with my issues. He went through all treatment options and potential outcomes. I absolutely love the small office approach, you are a person and not just a number. Having been to a few programs where I wasn't even asked how I felt, this office bends over backwards to try to figure out how best to make you feel better. The doc actually cared how functional or better said, how disfunctional my life has been. Taking care of the person is what is important. I'm frankly in a state of shock as you cannot find this type of "old school" medicine practiced here! The doctor not only examined me but truly cared about how functional I am additionally he wanted to know how different this was compared to before my symptoms began. I haven't been examined by a pain clinic physician in years, let alone actually asking me how I felt! The one to one approach, I believe, helps the patient on so many levels. You feel like you are being set up to progress, not to fail. I really appreciated all the time the doctor spent making sure that I was comfortable and understanding exactly what my medical issues were. Absolutely wonderful office! read more
