He was being pulled all over the place but took the time to calmly help me. took me straight to the part after my wonky description...and even took it out of package just to make sure it would extend the 20 inches that I needed. I was so impressed with how he spoke to me (not making me feel stupid) and was truly a gentleman. And smiled while helping me. I have been a customer of this shop for several years, driving from Modesto to Hughson, because the…read morecustomer service was good. Something has changed. I brought my mower (which I bought from them for more than $700) due to a problem in the carburetor. They never told us it would take weeks on end to repair the mower. We called after one week, being told it might take 5 weeks from that point, but then they said maybe a week more. After two weeks, we called again, and they said at least 3 more weeks, they're shorthanded. They never looked at the mower. We ended up picking up the mower and taking it to another well reviewed shop and they looked it over right away. They confirmed my suspicion as to the problem, and said it would be ready on Monday or Tuesday. Hughson Farm Supply has lost me as a customer. If they couldn't have fixed the mower in a timely manner, they shouldn't have accepted it for repair. We've had to do all the checking. No updates or apologies. I'm very disappointed.
