I called my insurance to have my car towed to Pat's towing and Pat's towing showed up which I absolutely loved because they do such a great job when they work on my vehicle. I called ahead to let Johnny know my car was coming and I needed him to look at it. I have to say I have only dealt with Johnny and John lol and they were both so extremely amazing. Johnny can literally fix any kind of vehicle. I really love the work they do. I really like that they get back to you quickly to let you know what is wrong with the vehicle and the prices are great. I've dealt with other places before and I was initially informed that my transmission was blown and it would cost 3k. My coworker said to bring the car to her husband he will tell you the truth so i did just that and he actually told me it was not my transmission and the price to fix my car was 2k less. I honestly would not take my car to be looked at or repaired by another mechanic or facility. For me if a mechanic and auto shop can be honest doing great work they will have a customer for life. I have been sending everyone I know to Pat's Towing they really are great when it comes to repairs. read more

This company is extremely unethical and opportunistic , they took advantage of many struggling families in the city of Newburgh this weekend during a SNOW EMERGENCY. They went beyond just "doing their job" and into being scumbag scammers . All the cars towed were told they can't pick their cars up because they're closed ( even though they towed their cars that same day ) but they charged them for that day anyways even though there was no way possible they could've picked it up that day . Then the extremely unprofessional people on the phones gave people the runaround when it came to them even finding out where their cars were even at , and one young mother was directed to 2 different locations before finding her cars location . Her battery was working just fine when it was towed , but after being made to shovel out her car , she realized her car wouldn't start and it needed a jump , they told her she's not allowed to work on her car in their lot and forced her to basically pay them even more money to jump start her car , 1,000 dollars later that this young mother didn't even have to give because now her bills won't get payed , she got her car back , and only because she had parents who were willing to help her chase down her car and drive her around , someone with no help would've lost their car that day to greedy monsters . Another single mom of 4 was outside as they were trying to tow her car , they hadn't driven an inch and were telling her it's gonna cost 350 dollars if she wants them to take her car down . This is absolutely inhumane , if they are out there , take their damn car down , and don't try to sneak at 5 am when people are sleeping so they have no chance of moving it before you tow it . The purpose of moving cars was to clear the roads , they would've been cooperative so that could get done , but parking is very tricky over there , and roads are not kept up on , . You can't treat people this way . I also remember pats towing being sent to me by triple A , I told them CVS pharmacy as the location because it wasn't that far , and family would be able to help me get my car started back up . They took it to some tow lot , which we had to drive pretty far to find then I found out I have to pay money I did not have or he would leave it there and then be fined daily by that lot til I could pay to get my car out and would have to pay them to also work on my car , luckily I had someone with me who was able to pay it , or I would've been very screwed , I am also a single mom . These struggling families were all preyed on in mass though by this company , I don't care that you have a contract, you don't have a right to screw people out of so much money then keep their car if they can't pay . I can only imagine the type of heartless people running this operation, and they probably work with that other scammy ass lot too . Pat's Towing- Slacking Off & Ripping Off My wife's car needed a AAA tow near the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge when her car was stalling out. She called AAA, and got Pat's Towing in Newburgh. First the woman on the phone was curt, and noted that there would be an $8.00 charge due to the bridge toll (which is actually $1.50), and by the way, if you pay by card, it's another $5.00! My wife had some cash, but was told that, also, if you have a ten, the driver may not have change. So you overcharge for the toll, add a card charge, but have no change for cash payments? WTF?! The driver came, and was courteous, and noted a simple loose coil pack. He said it was an easy 10-minute job to fix and, because he noted it would be done next day at Pat's, we had him tow the car there. Now comes more fun. When I call, I am told there are other cars before ours, and it may not be done same day, although my wife now had to use PTO for the day, and got no work done. Three more calls later, including from her usual mechanic in Westchester, and we all finally got it managed same day by nagging. Even as I hurried home to pick up my wife and get to Pat's, the woman on the phone, when I asked for the street address, was curt, and wanted to know how soon we were coming; maybe they'd just leave it with the key in it, although we were clear we'd be there during there normal hours. I do NOT recommend Pat's, and wish AAA would remove them from there affiliate service station list. If I'd known what a hassle it was going to be, I'd have had the car towed elsewhere (our AAA will town anywhere within 100 miles). AVOID! read more

I was told I could leave my car and they would tow it to the mechanic. I left my car at 11am. It was not damaged. It was parked between 2 cars, a car on the left and a car on the right. There's no way for any thing to hit my car in the front. Pats Towing never contacted me when they arrived to get my car, never contacted me as they were driving to the mechanic and never contacted me when they dropped it off at the mechanic. By 3:30 my car was damaged. How? Why? They are saying it was damaged when they arrived... but they never contacted me or took pictures... especially when I didn't call for it to be towed because of a damage. Customer service is rude. He parked in the parking area near my building which has no visible no parking, tow away zone or anything marked. Wasn't there more than 2 hours and he went to leave only to find out Pats has towed his vehicle out of there about 5 minutes prior and then told him he couldn't get his vehicle until the next morning. I've never written a review but I felt compelled to do so. These people are horrible! The receptionist is so nasty and rude. They will lock up their office and pretend they are not there when someone else shows up to tow your vehicle. They get paid $75 each day they store your car so they try to keep it as long as possible. I paid by credit card over the phone for the initial tow but the next day when I tried to pay for the additional day of storage I was told they only take cash because they don't have a credit card machine, again making it difficult to get your car. zero stars!!!! absolutely the worst place out there! these people are beyond unprofessional!! we find out our truck as towed to this place, in Walden and we had to make an appointment to come get it. $914 for 6 days! we were on vacation and it was towed from my sister I'm laws apartment complex. they didn't notify the police that they took it! they tell us to come at 11am so we do, the door is locked and we have to call the number on the door which we did. a girl comes out with shorts so short they looked like underwear and a belly shirt. she takes our money, does NOT give us a receipt and proceeds to take us back to the lot. she couldn't figure out how to open the lock to the gate so she had to get her manager (who apparently has no name), the lady came out looking just as trashy as the first girl but had a terrible attitude. she opens the gate, we go back and the truck isn't there. at this point I am upset. I'm trying to tell her the truck isn't there and she was on the phone and wouldn't say anything. I guess she expected us to just leave with no receipt and no truck. she finally just yells at me that I have to call the main office and so I did and no one answered. she just starts walking back inside and I was so upset like no way I'm not leaving with nothing! and then she started screaming at me calling me a "bitch ass mother fucker" and carrying on and on. I said we need a receipt we just dropped a lot on money. finally she gets one and gives to us and then walks away and locks the door. finally the other office answera and says they brought it over there in Newburgh that morning and we have to come there which is 25 minutes away! absolutely disgusting how these people behave read more

Do not call this towing company if you need to be towed. I had my car towed by them over the weekend and they towed my car to the wrong location, it wasn't even a repair shop where they dropped it at and on top of all of that they said they tried to call me multiple times not once did I receive a call and they just left my car in a random parking lot. And when I called to ask where the location was of where they dropped it off at they said I had to call AAA and ask them. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life the most irresponsible company I've ever did business with I highly recommend you consider other locations before calling this one. After reading other reviews, I see my son & I are not the only ones who experienced a negative interaction with this place! The woman we dealt with (who called herself a manger but would not give her name) was so unprofessional and rude from the start of our interaction. After her response "You get what you give.", I really thought I would end up in jail having to deal with her. Our car was illegally this past Saturday night from the Squires Village parking lot. If I could give them no star, I would. We were told that our vehicle was towed to the Newburgh lot. We called on Sunday 12/4 and they told us the vehicle was not there. On Monday, we went to the Walden lot. No one was even there, so we called the number and left a message, but no one called back. On Tuesday, we went to the Middletown lot. The very nice gentleman there told us the car was in Newburgh. We called Newburgh again, they said the car was there but we would have to bring the owner with ID to get the vehicle out of impound. We drove 40 miles to pick her up and they never even asked for her ID! They charged us just under $800 CASH. I told them that we called on Sunday and were told the car was not there. They said we did not call, but I have proof that we did. When we got home a few hours after paying the inflated bill, the car still was not delivered. I called Newburgh and spoke with the manager. I asked for the owner's name and phone number, but she would not give it to me. She hung up on me. I called several more times to get the owner's name but she refused to tell me, kept me on hold for almost an hour and hung up on me again. I had to go down with the police before they would put the car on the truck to deliver it, which was only 6 miles away. They mocked me the whole time I was there, they are a rude, nasty staff. From the other reviews, I doubt the owner will even care. Why haven't the local officials stopped this obvious abuse of their citizens? read more

My wife's parents car was towed from our apartment complex while parked in a handicap space. They had a placard but it was velcroed by the side door instead of hanging on the mirror. We had to pay an extra day of fees because they wouldn't let us get the car the same day when we called at 3:30. The receptionist hung up on us when asking questions and was rude. We couldn't haggle with them about the extra day fee even though we called at a reasonable time and even though our placard was velcroed by the side door. We we're wrong for not having it hanging on the mirror but the 2 stars is for the unreasonable service. The operating times to pick up the car are obviously there so they can collect more fees from people who have jobs during the day. Bad service and and an unwillingness to understand our situation so they could collect an extra $75 Is not ethically right. We were already owning up to our mistake though they were still rude and wouldn't work with us. Last night they came to my apartment (which is not a complex) to tow a customers car out of and when they came over they came up to him with 4 guys with hoodies over their head and hands in their pockets. My sister went to leave and 4 guys got in her face and threatened her ( for no reason i may add ) so after they threatened her obviously we were all fired up and the exchange between words got heated and then a man got in my face trying to fight me then shoot up my apartment and the owners quotes were " okay we will get you when your walkin down the street dont worry" . then the cops came and ran over to them because they were still screaming threats while the guy who threatened me hid a gun. This buisness is a bunch of crooks! Exploited my sister for all shes worth, my sister got into an accident and had to be taken away in an ambulance. The New Windsor police called Pats towing. Normal rates the towing would cost no more that 250 dollars. They charged us 700!! (which they said was reduced!) The towed my sisters car only 6 miles friday morning, which we went to pick the car up early Moday morning, they only had it for 3 days. We contacted the new windsor police however they said accident towing was "unregulated" and the b**** Jennifer at Pats towing even told us they could charge WHATEVER they wanted.
