John was nice and friendly enough and we arranged for Friday at 10:00 AM since I had other chores to do that day. He agreed and said that it would take about 1.5 hour. On Friday at about 10:30 AM I called to see what was the holdup and the office person said that he must be hung up on another job and that she'd call him and see what the situation was. She also suggested that the arrangement was between 10 - 12 noon arrival time. I said no that was not the case since I wanted the job done before noon. Anyway long story short, he showed up about 1.5 hours late and did the job satisfactorily within 1.5 hour. I was still able to get my chores done on time so in the end no harm done. Four stars because scheduling could be more precise.

I did some research of some businesses and then when I contacted Cypress Glass & Mirror; Chuck said he was able to fix this specialty made glass for us. He continued to have updated communication along the process of the glass, including when the glass was as being hand bent from a supplier. Chuck was very friendly and professional during the whole time. I would recommend their business for any project small or large. He understood the memories and emotional value this piece had for me. Therefore he worked to make sure to get it completed for me.

Went in not really knowing a whole lot, just that I needed some blinds and wanted roller style. He quickly explained to me what all he offered and could do for me. Even suggested I go with the standard 2 inch blinds in the front of my home, even tho it was cheaper so it was less money for him to make. I did not have measurements for him to give me an accurate estimate, so I did have to return for the storefront with measurements to get the estimate but that's on me. After you make your choices on style and color, Mr. Van has an installer swing by your home to double check your measurements prior to ordering your blinds. All materials were shipped directly to my house with an email from Mr. Van beforehand to let me know I should be expecting x amount of boxes tomorrow. Once all the blinds arrive, you schedule the install at your convenience and his installer is there to complete the install. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to get some blinds installed in their home. As I stated, great customer service and communication. It's businesses like this and people like Mr. Van that make things enjoyable and easy on you! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I based my decisions on the amount he quoted and the time he quoted. Seemed reasonable.... until... Instead of working 16 hours, they only worked 8!!! Day one. They showed up at 10am and left at 2pm. He left a huge hole uncovered and stuff everywhere! We came behind them, cleaned up the covered the hole where the window was. Day two. Again, showed up at 10am and left at 2pm. I literally asked him if my home was nicer, would he have done a better job! I also asked him why he was leaving early and he said that they were done. I asked him to caulk around the door and he said it is not included! They did not clean up either. Not included!! The doors are not right. Locking them requires pulling and lifting! The lock on the French door is almost impossible for me to open because it sticks and it leaks when it rains! Then, he asked me to leave him a review!! I told him that it would not be in his favor and I told him why. He was sincere at the time and said he would come back and give me a better deal and do a better job next time. Next time never happened. We've called and spoken to him twice! Set up times for him to return to fix several problems with the doors he installed and for a new door on our other home. He never showed. TWICE. He and his helper are not worth our money. And, I was very uncomfortable that he felt the need to carry his gun while at my house. I waited a long time to post this because of the fear of retaliation! He seemed confident that his job was successful, yet never made it right when I complained.
