The best coffee and food in town! I stop every time I am in the area. Amber always has a smile on her face and a welcome cheerful greeting!

Moguls Bar And Grill - Interior

This is a bar and grill that offers food with a pretty big menu and some alcohol. There is also a 21 older area as well if you don't want to hang out with children. 4 stars because even employees nice. Service: this place is busy with skiers and employees can take some time to get to you. Food can take time to get delivered as well. Be patient. Food: ordered the nachos and chili. The chili was being made so our server said it might take 20 minutes. It is made fresh and the batch was just cooking. She said the nacho can serve 2 people, so we ordered nachos to share. We asked that brisket be used instead of ground beef, she said no problem. It did take almost 20 minutes to get our nachos and the cheese was stone cold. We asked if the nachos could be warmed up. Apologies and right away nacho taken away. They were brought back within less than 5 minutes steaming hot cheese. The cheese was not very good, but the brisket makes these nachos and the sour cream really complimented.

K2's 21 and over bar is always slammed so you have to rush in and basically hog a table if you don't ski. It's a great atmosphere, she's an excellent bartender, and it's always an amazing vibe. When you aren't ordering food and take up a table it annoys the waitstaff ( rightfully so). Not to mention when you are with a group of your buddies most people prefer just sitting at the bar.... Grabbing a quick drink or two and heading back out. Not everyone wants to sit in the family dinning area. Service is always hit or miss. Sometimes you order, eat, and receive your check in a timely manner so you can get back out on the mountain.... Other times you are fighting for your life to cash out and everyone leaves behind one person to finally pay. Food is also hit or miss. Last winter my daughter and her girlfriend received raw cheeseburgers we sent back, and this year the girls received frozen food we had to get back into the deep fryer. Going up top into Moguls is more of the atmosphere change from the crazy/chaotic/ over crowded/ noise of down below. 90 percent of the time we all eat down below and go up top simply for the cocktails. The resort would make so many of its loyal customers happy if they upped the food game in moguls and Noah's. The best food is the cafeteria. I suggest bringing some snacks in your back pack and eating once you get down off the resort property. Nice place to sit and have some drinks but that's about it.

We arrived around 1230PM, and the restaurant was relatively dead - which can be a plus for those seeking a food spot at the base of the mountain, rather than the top. Our server welcomed us and led us to a larger table which fit our party perfectly, directly near the windows to witness the snow falling. He allowed us to search the menu before taking our orders. We opted for rounds of water and brews for the adults and sprite/juice for the kiddos. I was impressed by the massive NA beer list, which was lengthy and filled with variety. I chose the Deschutes hazy IPA which was tasted perfect! My sister and cousin opted for seasonal beers and seem happy with their choices. Seeking something warm for the belly, I opted for a burger - loaded with locally made huckleberry jam, bacon and cheese - which was average at best. The burger was overcooked, leaving the meat dry and lacking flavor. The fries on the other hand, were delicious and double fried. YUM! The kids were mildly impressed with their meals, while my sister, cousin and her husband seemed to enjoy their burgers. We had to remind our server about the need for water, sides of ranch and ketchup (since nothing was on the table) and split our checks in the end with no issue. Pricing was slightly elevated - but expected in a resort type atmosphere - but for the quality, I left like EH. I didn't take the remaining half of my burger with me but left with a full belly. If in the area again for an outing, I think I'd try elsewhere before returning.
