Central Coffee Shop is a cozy neighborhood cafe located in Elizabeth, specifically in the Swiss Alpine Village. The shopping complex is right off of Scenery Drive, and houses several different offices and small businesses. It is locally owned and operated. The business offers different coffees, teas, lemonades, pastries, and many locally made treats. Additionally, the interior houses a gift shop area called Central Gifts and Home Decor. There is a lot going on in this unsuspecting place, but in the best way. Parking here is always very easy. Since this is in a complex, there is a private parking lot and spaces right in front. There is no drive-thru, if you were looking for that. However, it is so quick to get in and out with the very optimal parking arrangement. The exterior of the shop is very clearly marked and identifiable. It is painted blue, while the surrounding storefronts are yellow. There is also an awning, along with signage and lighted signs. You will be able to locate this easily. The inside of the cafe is large. There is a lot of seating, including a bar area, tables of various sizes, and more cozy seats surrounding a fireplace. Also, there are a few outdoor tables to utilize in nicer weather. This would be an ideal coffee shop to come to with friends, for a meeting, or just to leisurely enjoy an afternoon with all of the seating options. Overall, I love the vibes here. It is comfy, cozy, and welcoming. They are always decorated for the season or the next holiday. They have real mugs, and lots of different gifts and trinkets to shop through. It really is a warm and welcoming place you want to hang out at. I arrived on this visit just before 8:00 AM, and it was not too busy. There were a few other customers there, but I was waited on rather quickly. It gave me a few minutes to look over the menu, including the seasonal feature drinks. I opted for one of the seasonal lattes. I chose a Large Iced Woodstock Woods, which was a mix of brown sugar, maple, and cinnamon. I enjoyed it greatly! It was a perfect taste of fall without diving completely into pumpkin just yet. The large size is a very nice portion, and allowed me to enjoy my drink all morning long. When I visit, I usually opt for one of the seasonal drinks. If not, I will get one of their several house-made or sugar free flavor options. I truly have never had a drink I did not like here, so I would recommend trying different things if you are open to it! I did not get one on this visit, but their Pup Cups here are top-notch. My dog absolutely loves them, as they come with whipped cream and a dog treat. I believe that the value is there for this shop. My latte was around $7, and this is on-par with other local spots. I will say that the size of their large is bigger than a lot of other places, which makes it all that better of a deal. Personally, I think everything here is both fairly price and comparable to other places around. Also, they offer a punch card program for the drinks. So, you can get a punch for each drink purchased to eventually earn one free. They are one of the few local coffee places I am aware of that offer this, which is a huge plus. The staff here is simply the best. Whether it's the owners or some of their student employees, everyone is always so nice. They make you want to keep coming back and supporting the business. This is one of the highlights of stopping here for me! I always love coming to Central Coffee Shoppe. Between the plethora of options, gift shop, welcoming atmosphere and wonderful staff, there is a lot going for this place. I do not live super close, but make it a point to stop any time I am over this way. I look forward to my next visit and getting to try whatever seasonal drink is on the menu.

The service is good and the ladies that own/work at the counter are very kind. I always tip them lovely because they deserve it and they use a really good coffee blend. When I am visiting this area from going to my uncle's auto shop, I try to stop here when they are open and I love how it's a simple walk from Marshall's since I really enjoy the North Hills Marshall's compared to the South Hills Marshall's (greentree). I usually try to get their special drinks but today they didn't really have anything that caught my eye so I ordered a macchiato with oat milk and pumpkin pie syrup. I have to give them lots of bonus points for this syrup since most corporation chains like Dunkin and Starbucks do not have pumpkin until Aug/Sept. My drink isn't overly sweet and it's a good combo between the milk, coffee, syrup and ice ratio where other big chains never truly make the drink have a decent ratio. Inside, the shop has a large front area filled with pastries on display, followed by plenty of seating toward the back. A quick look at their website explains their mission well, stating that they provide comprehensive training and career pathways for adults with disabilities, demonstrating that when workplaces are designed with accessibility and support in mind, everyone can contribute their unique talents and thrive. The cashier helping us was super nice, although definitely a bit chatty. After looking through the baked goods, my kids chose a red velvet cake pop and a snowflake sugar cookie. For my coffee this morning, I went with a hot gingerbread latte, while my wife chose an iced version. My coffee was good and clearly tasted like gingerbread, with plenty of sweetness and warming spices coming through. I did not get much coffee flavor, but that was not unexpected given how strong the gingerbread flavor was. My wife also enjoyed her iced gingerbread latte. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I enjoyed our coffees, my twins enjoyed their baked goods, and I really appreciate their mission of employing adults with disabilities.

This used to be called Vault because of being in an old bank, but they embraced their veteran owned status and rebranded. The decor is fun and not over the top and they have comfortable seating. Brave Bean is. great shop right on Broadway (Pitcarin's main street). They have a convenient drive through and there is also street parking. They have. fairly standard coffee shop menu plus they always have fun seasonal specials. Yes things like peppermint mocha and pumpkin spice latte, but also firecracker latte for patriotic holidays. They have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches as well. They taste fresh and are a nice size. Staff is friendly, informative and attentive. They are great at helping you make decisions if you are stuck on what to get or might not be a regular coffee drinker. A real gem of a place I am happy to have nearby.

There is also a private lot located to the left of the entrance for the entire building. The signage in the windows identifying the business makes it easy to locate. Fig Tree is truly a community coffee shop. It has plenty of seating, and proudly displays pieces of the community it serves. They have a bulletin board with local businesses, community events, and other information. Patrons seem to get their items and utilize the space to hang out and socialize. It is nice to see a place like this being utilized as intended! I stopped here around 8:45 AM, and it was not too crowded. There were a few other patrons in the building and in line ahead of me, but I only had to wait a few minutes to order my drink. It can be sort of overwhelming to try and order here, since the menu is so bare and there are not a ton of "special" drinks advertised. However, the baristas and staff will make anything you really are wanting, so I would not worry about this! They have different flavorings and combinations, you just need to ask or make a combination that you want to try when ordering. The barista that helped me on this visit was lovely. I was not exactly sure what I wanted, so I asked what she typically would order or make for herself. She ended up making me that exact drink in a 16 OZ Iced Drink. I enjoyed getting to try something different that I would not have picked for myself! Service was quick. I was in and out with my coffee in about 7 minutes, and that included waiting in line and taking a minute to order. The prices here are reasonable, and in line with what other local coffee shops are charging for similar products. They do accept both cash and card here, just FYI. I did not purchase any food or pastries, but the coffee prices were right in line with expectations. The vibe of this place is very cool, with a true community cafe feel. I love that they highlight their community. Not only with the people and events, but they even with a wall of Polaroids of the dogs that visit the shop! I even had a dog in line in front of me, so they are dog-friendly here. I give Fig Tree Coffee a positive review, and do recommend giving the shop a try if you find yourself in Crafton or the West End. It is a newer shop, but already has great ambiance and community presence. The staff are friendly, drinks are tasty, it is dog-friendly, and it is a great space to hang out or get some work done. I look forward to future visits to Fig Tree when I find myself in the area.

An amazing local cafe!…read more Im already in love and haven't got to try my food yet. The honey latte with cinnamon has won my heart. A great balance of flavor to coffee so I don't feel like I'm sucking down a bunch of sugar and #$!% Brian was working the counter and got a last minute rush of kids and faculty but he got them in and out quickly with a smile on his face. Place has a great vibe and loved the outside tables to sit and drink while the neighborhood passes you by! I can't wait to be back and I haven't even left yet!
