And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. They have a huge selection of items to paint and prices and pieces range from around $8 to up to $80. You pick your piece and paint colors and then go to work. To get the true color you need three coats, so it can tale awhile. But it is a really fun experience and the staff is really helpful. They fire your piece and you come back to pick it up in a week or two. Great for something to do with the kids, a date, time with friends or even a fun solo activity.

The coffee has so many delicious flavors with homemade syrups and seasonal options. We got a Vanilla Oatmilk Latte and Juniper Latte. The biggest plus for here is the DELICIOUS food options... with in-house pastry chefs... they have an advantage! We went with the Breakfast Sandwich on Buttermilk Biscuit with Bacon and Cinnamon Roll. But everything looooked so good. They even have a basket full of "yesterday's pastries" for 50% off. The seating is limited but it turns over quickly. You wait for your drink order at the end of the counter, but food will be brought out fresh from the kitchen to your table via number. They have water available for the tables and kindly ask that you clean your own table with a tub for all dishes.
