It's hard to find a decent restaurant in this part of New Hampshire. Patrick's doesn't have any amazing food but they do have some of the most consistent food in the area. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. The atmosphere is nice. Although the bar hasn't changed one bit in 14 years and needs an update. The dining room did get a small makeover in 2014. They updated the menu in 2014 which was good. Would have been better if they had an english major to review it before they printed it. (It's funny to laugh at some of the mistakes) Overall my opinion of the restaurant has improved in the last year. They replaced some of the staff and management and that change alone makes the place much more enjoyable. The only thing Patricks is missing is music trivia. read more

It's a little far for us, but we try to go there when we are in the area. Great food, and the owners offer a very special dinner for veterans on veteran's day -- which is lovely way of saying thank you to those who served. We've always enjoyed our meals there. read more

A party of 7 with reservations sat down at 8pm. From the beginning the server, Melissa, was unprofessional, unkind, and rude. When greeted for our first round of drinks we waited 15 minutes. The food was good, the drinks were below average. Overall, we felt the service was unprofessional and inpatient towards the end of our dinner. Will definitely be doing take out next time. It was quite frankly awful. The food was terrific tasting, but was cold to touch when it came out. The waitress ignored us almost the whole night and then came back at the end and pretty much threw the check at us wanting us to leave. Nice place. Just wanted a normal bacon cheeseburger and got it in a reasonable time. The fries were hot and the beer cold. People seemed very friendly. Wasn't crazy about the cheesesticks though. The cheese and the breading were bland and a bit soggy for my liking. Megan, who worked the bar, was amazing and being a typical guy, I thought she was beautiful too. Love Patrick's BUT cunty Kendra has to go. My husband and I are regulars who come in and sometimes we will get stuck with Kendra. She never smiles, never says you're welcome or thank you, doesn't ask if we're pub club members, I have to remind her everytime! The negative attitude radiating off this woman is contagious. Not personable and just not a nice woman in general. Sucks cause we love Patrick's! What a find. We started out for another restaurant but the parking lot was insane not a spot so we listened to Yelp and came to Patrick's Pub. We called ahead and were seated almost immediately. A friendly server named Robin came over promptly. She was attentive and super nice. My powers salad was super healthy and delicious. It had baby spinach, dried fruit and nuts add goat cheese and an optional piece of salmon and I had a wonderful entree. Yelp followers get a free app hummus or Mozzarella sticks. Stopped by for a late lunch while vacationing. Great pub atmosphere with many games on tvs throughout the bar area. Started with Barbs onion hooks and the mozzarella sticks. The hooks were crisp, hot...and the accompanying sauce a perfect kick. The sticks were huge! Panko covered and taken out of the fryer right before the soft cheese oozed out. Very good! I had the bacon and blue burger which was good, but could've been a bit juicier. The fries were too thin and too crisp to yield any potato. Don't think that just because this is a Pub it is not worthy of your time after a day at the beach! This super huge place has a menu that can get any craving satisfied and the food and drinks are great! We had the cheese steak quesadillas, chicken parm Sandwich and bruschetta chicken and all were amazing! You will not leave here hungry and will feel like you are at home with the friendly staff and patrons! I went to Patrick's on New Years Eve with a group of 6. The service was great, and the place was packed. I'm guessing this was the case because it was pretty much the only place open in Gilford. We have been doing takeout, like many people during the pandemic, on a weekly or more frequent basis. Because we happened to be near this restaurant today, which is a distance from our house, we called in an order and did curbside pickup. Very often, we get nachos when we do takeout; we did so here. We also ordered chicken parmesan. I have not trashed a restaurant since the pandemic began but given that we literally had to throw most of our food in the trash tonight, this restaurant (at least its performance tonight) deserves it. The nachos had truly tasteless cheese and the pulled pork had an unlikeable taste...and I like pulled pork. The chicken parmesan was a little better, but generally tasteless. It was surrounded by an enormous amount of pasta but the pasta had no sauce, no seasoning, no oil/butter that I could ascertain; it seemed like they cooked the pasta and, having drained it of water, forgot to add anything whatsoever to it.
