PATRICKS (Ocean Springs) If you haven't tried Patrick's in OS you're missing a true OS Gen of a locally owned upscale restaurant. The restaurant is located in a tiny little 100 year old cottage tucked away on School street. When you walk in the door you immediately think wow this is cute but very small. There are about 20 tables or so. Small bar area and a tiny kitchen. Don't be fooled - these folks know how to bring the flavor. That tiny kitchen rocks. we started out with drinks. Hubby had the old fashioned which was excellent. We ordered sautéed crab claws which have the essence of New Orleans bbq shrimp with all that delicious butter and lemon. Next came our salads. Salads were typical but the homemade dressings were the sho for the salads. I ordered the Squash, Crab and Shrimp Casserole and my husband had the crab stuffed triple tail. We both ordered the drunken greenbeans which are excellent. So good I'm going to try to make them myself. Dinner followed up with homemade family bread pudding recipe which sadly we had to bring it home with us becaus we were both so full we couldn't eat another bite. Our service was excellent. The ladies are so nice. Our bartender made sure our drinks never ran empty and we had two amazing servers who ensured everything came out in a timely manner allowing us to finish's one course before bringing out the next. Everything was prepared as we ordered it and came out piping hot. This little place has won a spot at our top five restaurants on the gulf coast for special occasions. Although I will say we just popped in yesterday wearing jeans and flip flops. No requirement to dress up but I'd you want to make it a fancy occasion that would work too. Our entire meal for wine, old fashioned, salad course , two entrees, side dish, and dessert was $166 plus we left a nice tip. Highly recommend Patrick's. You won't be disappointed.

We visited family and they took us out to dinner at Patrick's. It was the first time my boyfriend and I visited. Patrick's has high quality dining and a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the special features, Mahi Mahi with seafood sauce and the egg plant au gratin. Aside from those we had crabmeat au gratin too. Our food was spectacular! Salads came with the meal and the home made blue cheese was delicious. Dessert was just the right amount of bread rum pudding. Everything was perfect! They make your food with love so it's going to take some time!

First time back since Jocelyn's closed, and Patrick's is every bit as good. Crabmeat au gratin (my favorite) with bourbon-glazed green beans with bacon as the side, salad, bread, and dessert of warm bread pudding (perfectly spiced, with sweet rum sauce) - all included for price of entree. Service was quick and friendly; in fact, our appetizer of crab claws came out with our salad. I had no room for dessert, so it was boxed to go (and still delicious when reheated). We will return!

We dine here regularly. The ambience, service and food are beyond compare in this area, in fact, anywhere on the Gulf Coast. Tonight was Valentine's Day and they did not disappoint! The stuffed triple tail with lobster sauce was the best seafood dish I've had on this continent! My wife had the seafood casserole which is also to die for! And all entrees come with an individual dessert portion, which is perfect. I travel all over the country and eat at all sorts of restaurants from coast to coast, but Patrick's is my favorite place!

Stuffed mushroom entree with a stuffed tomato side...both were great.

This was our first time dining at Patrick's since he took over and it did not disappoint. A perfect dinner was had for our girls Friendsmas Dinner. The marinated crab claw appetizer was delicious and all of our entrees were perfection. We had the lamb, crab au gratin, seafood au gratin and the stuffed mushrooms. The homemade blue cheese dressing is also a must.

My wife and I loved to visit Jocelyn's for our special occasions, so we were so excited to see that her grandson, Patrick, had reopened the restaurant. Crabmeat augratin was our favorite dish and Patrick's did not disappoint... it was DELICIOUS! A perfect blend of cheese and butter and tons of jumbo lump crabmeat! It is worth every bite and they provide fresh baked bread to soak up any remaining buttery, cheese sauce. The meal does come with a fresh garden salad (although I do miss the pickled green bean and hard-boiled egg that his grandmother used!) with homemade dressing (I like the house vinaigrette and my wife likes the homemade ranch). The twice-baked potato is a great side to this delightful dish and we always go for the fried crab claws for a great appetizer! The meal was topped off with a fresh made brownie too! I cannot wait to go back and order the same thing!

The samples given at the planning meeting for our initial choice of pasta bar was obviously the cheapest possible jarred Alfredo and meat sauce for the spaghetti and Alfredo. We decided to give it another chance and payed about 2-3 dollars more per person for a 150 person venue to get the bourbon glazed chicken and brisket with au jus. Neither looked appetizing, neither could be cut with a knife due to how tough and dry they were. The brisket could've passed for unseasoned beef jerky, and the chicken was just a frozen grilled chicken breast. The sides were okay, canned green beans, which I was okay with but my wife was expecting a little more. Seasoning or anything would've been nice. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about. The rolls were sister Schubert's frozen rolls which are impossible to mess up so at least there's that. Service was good, the only reason this place even deserves the minimum one star allowed.

There's a drive-thru but there's not many parking spaces. If you get there before the call-in orders start to pick up, you should be just fine. There is still a wait, I waited about 15 - 20 minutes. The restaurant is in a neighborhood and it is very, very popular. I pulled up to the board to place the order and there's so many different things to choose from so I just decided on $15 box. The box included a burger, four wings and loaded fries. Let me just say, money well spent. Customer service was great, you check the board, place your order and drive to the window to order. There is a ramp on the side for walkups which was extremely full and the cashier stated that they get walk-ups and call-ins all the time and the time I arrived, shortly after 11:00 was perfect. After ordering, pull in a spot and wait for your name to be called to the pick up window. The cashier did state when it is a rush sometimes they don't always call the name and it's best to come to the window, Just for future reference. Now to the good part, everything was absolutely delicious. It's just a burger with cheese on a soft bun. But burger was delicious, good sear, the cheese was smooth, almost like a nacho cheese. But the chicken wings. For me, the fries and wings were superstars. The wings were fried to perfection, lightly seasoned not greasy, just good chicken. The fries crinkle cut smothered with cheese some type of sauce, steak, oh yeah good eatin' It is definitely a lot of food but I made sure I got a bite of everything so I can leave this incredible review. This is not the last time Exclusive dining will see me. It's a 45 minute drive from Mobile to Mississippi but it's definitely a drive worth taking.

Our menued items came out of order and cold. I'm sure our table (like most other tables) didn't even get all of the menued items but that was the best bullet we could have dodged that night. If nothing else was obvious of the food, it should have been known when guests left their tables immediately after the bride and groom made their rounds at the tables which is RARE because everyone stays to celebrate the entire night. Servers were clearly not trained because when asked what dish was being served, they looked very confused and could not give an answer. I mean how could they? Refer to the pictures for reference. The same servers eventually started clearing tables with plates full of untouched food. Traditional "filet and asparagus" does not come plated with rice. Just because we're Asian doesn't allow you to disrespect our culture with throwing rice on a plate and expecting us to eat. Just look at this dish, how can you be so proud? I walked over to a friend's table and their presentation was 10x worse. Soup Mung Cua aka crab fin soup. At first glance, I thought it was green bean soup. I beg you to look at this presentation. How. Why. What. So many questions. What should have been red flag number one? I saw the entire wedding party coming back to the charcuterie tables to snack on throughout the night. That says a lot when they had a table reserved for them. Red flag number two? There was a male rushing back and forth from the kitchen that looked far from professional. His shorts (or overly sized pants) were sagging and hanging on by the thread of his belt. The oversized button down he wore was not buttoned and the flaps of his shirt were hovering over the tray of food he was trying to bring out because again the servers were extremely unprepared. It is one thing to be prepare to cater a style wedding your catering company is familiar with, but for this TRADITIONAL VIETNAMESE style food, more thought and consideration should have been given. The food served at this event was such a disgrace to our culture.

To agree to cater a 500+ guest wedding and then publicly blame the bride over an "ill planned"…read morewedding is crazy and unprofessional. In my opinion the food was extremely over salted , some dishes that required salt were bland, the rice was hard and inedible and there were many missing dishes that weren't serviced, that were paid for! (37k mind you, not chump change) 9 courses were set to be served and our table received a whopping 5. All of which were sent back to be disposed of. Again, these dishes were largely inedible. Now, we fully understand that Vietnamese cuisine is difficult for any company to make if they don't have the experience behind them, Southern Flavor should have declined if they weren't confident in catering the dishes. Edited to add that Southern Flavor has now responded publicly on Facebook admitting no fault nor offering a resolution. Please look on TheKnot where they have MORE negative reviews from different catered events over the months. This isn't a one time mishap, in my opinion, it seems to be a common occurrence.
