Some of the front office staff come across as rude and act as if they run the place. I was promised that my order would be ready on 3/27, and while I understand delays can happen, the real issue was the complete lack of follow up. I specifically asked to be contacted--whether the order arrived or notand that never happened. I've been dealing with Edna at the front desk, and even after paying half of the total cost upfront, I still received no update. This is not acceptable customer service. These young office staff members would benefit from proper customer service training. It even seems like prior issues with finding consistent hygienists have been remedied. Unfortunately they still have a lot of issues finding reliable and knowledgeable front desk personnel, and as a result I have had a TON of billing issues, which ultimately resulted in my and my family leaving the practice. Although these issues have persisted the entire 4 years I have been a patient, most recently I was not told my and my child's visit was out of network until I received the bill. Apparently the practice has not updated their information with insurance providers and the old doctor is still listed as in network even though the practice changed hands nearly a year ago. Although I don't believe it was done on purpose, it certainly affected my family in a financially negative way and it is reflective of the overall poor communication and billing practices.

I reiterated that I had made this appt for the cleaning and I really needed it to be done today. So the dentist actually did the cleaning. Everything seemed to go normal from then on. I paid $145 upon leaving thinking this was the totality of my bill. Today I received a new bill for $341.00. Making the total visit now $486.00. Thats alot for a cleaning ! I noticed they even charged me $115 for a floride varnish when I told her I didn't need it as I have all veneers. Anyway I now feel like I was scammed and will never go back to this office. I arrived there today and was a bit anxious.. but WOW... I can't say enough about this practice. Here is why: 1. Great front office assistant; she got me in fast.. even though I wasn't an established patient. 2. I am a cash pay patient for dental work; they didn't abuse me; just charged me a fair amount for only necessary work. They told me up front what the charge would be and didn't try to destroy me financially. Honest! 3. Dr. Wood was my dentist; a female dentist with a kind heart, incredibly smart, understanding of my needs, smooth and steady hands... she worked meticulously to make sure no remaining decay was present; she got every area of decay removed before installing the cavity filling material. 4, ZERO.. absolutely ZERO pain. And afterwards; the tooth felt perfect in my mouth; no high spots, no pain: perfect install. She even had to remove two old metal cavities and reconstructed the entire tooth. I am delighted by the care I received here... from the front desk to the dental assistant Daniel, to Dr. Wood... thank you! Oh.. and I also had my 3yr old son with me. He was a good boy and they let him sit in my room and watch YouTube on my phone; they made everything easy.
