Dr. Heck told me I just needed old fillings replaced, and the treatment plan will cost me under $2k. I encourage anyone to a) get a second opinion always and b) see Dr. Heck! She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist! Also, the office is comfortable and quiet which is the complete opposite of the other office I visited which was loud and chaotic.

I found Hill Country Oral Surgery on Yelp and Google and decided to give it a try. The office is clean and modern, with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and even a mini fridge stocked with water. The entire staff was amazing--from day one they made sure I had all the information I needed, and they were super helpful in checking in after the procedure to make sure I was doing well. Dr. Cavaretta really listened to my concerns, and because I was anxious, we chose to go the anesthesia route. Lizette and George (the day-of care team) were fantastic and made me feel completely at ease throughout. I was in and out quickly and am already anticipating a smooth recovery. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is--I'm definitely coming back here!

I have to say that I had a great experience with this practice and especially Dr. Travis Kern and…read morehis assistant.....the front desk was efficient and had gotten pre-approval from insurance well in advance of my appointment....Dr. Kern was exceptional.....I especially liked that he told me what he was going to do step-by-step in detail; told me what he was doing while he was doing it ; and told me what he did afterward....this approach gave me great comfort with the whole procedure....the one demerit is that I was sent an email almost the day after asking me to review the practice/doctor....I still had sutures and wasn't completely healed.....what if I posted an immediate positive review only to have complications a couple of days later and ender up in the ER?....the automated system should be reprogrammed to wait a couple of weeks before sending out review requests.....

Our…read moredaughter wasn't doing well with the anesthesia he gave to her when he removed her wisdom teeth, and he simply parked her in the hallway along with a bunch of other patients recovering. He didn't check on them near enough and some needed care. He acted like the wisdom teeth extractions were like a fast food drive thru and people had to wait, parked in line, for healthcare. Also, the place was badly in need of repair and felt dingy and dirty.
