Dr. Heck told me I just needed old fillings replaced, and the treatment plan will cost me under $2k. I encourage anyone to a) get a second opinion always and b) see Dr. Heck! She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist! Also, the office is comfortable and quiet which is the complete opposite of the other office I visited which was loud and chaotic.

The new plan was a healthier more cautious route as well as more cost effective. They have a "calming menu" where you can request a blanket, headphones, warm neck pillow, etc. for more comfort and dental anxiety which I think we all can agree that we all get! Definitely recommend!

The estimates, treatment plans and transparency were all over the place at other offices than Westgate Family Dental. My first interaction was with Liz. She is so kind and communicative, but you can tell she is an absolute fighter for solutions for you. She runs the financial role of the business and I could not be more impressed with her professionalism and experience with navigating insurance companies, Care credit, and a patient's priorities. I'm a hairdresser and deal with a wonderful and very affluent clientele. I felt like I looked cheap with messed up teeth. The consultation was incredible. Dr. Christy Tu is a perfectionist. It was such an educational and solution driven experience, that I followed all of her advice. I later found out she went to the USC school of dentistry. A top tier school for general and cosmetic dentistry. I didn't way my implants to look like chiclets. I wanted them to look real and natural. She nailed it. I couldn't be happier with the results! The office is clean and modern, all the hygienist are so nice and thorough (wish I could remember their names). I can't recommend Westgate Family Dental enough!

Yes, my appointment was from 10-11, but it got started at 10:50 The teeth whitening was one of the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. I was actually wondering if it was suppose to feel like torture. Apparently, my mouth guard wasn't in place and while I was left to my own device, I was also suffering away as my gums burned and burned. I wish someone, anyone had just preface - that BURNING is not normal. I was almost in tears by the time I jump out of my seat and nearly ripped off the mouth guard, and whimpering before the tech came to check on me. My bottom gums were all either bleached white or burned. Invisalign is a huge investment - my invoice 7k or over from Swish and I really think that your local dentist could do it for cheaper (the discounts/deal isn't great bc they have such a high mark up), and you probably won't be tortured and left with WHITE GUMS after a simple whitening.

After coming to this office for a few years I was up sold on so many things I didn't need, first being a mouth guard I never use (and surprise my teeth are fine though my dentist acted like my teeth were going to fall out without it) and countless fillings. The last year I had with them mid 2024 I believe I was quoted 1,600 dollars worth of work including a crown. I was devastated, but trusted them and scheduled with them. Something in my gut felt off about having another year of so much dental work when i religiously cleaned my teeth so I went for a second opinion. Turns out the second dentist didn't see any work I needed to get done. I was shocked to go from drilling countless spots in my mouth to no work needed. Now it's 01/06/2026 and I just went and got x rays again and told good job no extra work besides cleaning needed today at another dentist. I'm so glad I didn't go to grand oaks for a crown and multiple fillings I didn't need and trusted my gut. It's been years and my teeth are fine contrary to what this office said(they made it sound like my teeth were horrible and needed this work asap) Id never return to such a greedy and predatory dental office that's obviously only looking to make extra money and give you dental work you don't need. Hate to have to write such a horrible review, but I'm still haunted by this experience so I had to share.

They even did a same-day fit in for my friend who broke her tooth and fixed my friend's loose bracket on her braces that was visiting from PERU at no charge! 3) Dr. Ip- T.H.E. B.E.S.T. Little House Dentistry is everything I was hoping for in a dentists office. I cannot recommend this…read morebusiness/clinic highly enough. I came here after having a pretty terrible experience at Austin Artistic Dental ( 0/5 stars for AAD). I had to get a crown redone and the staff at LHD helped me feel very welcome and really listened to my concerns and we made a good plan of action to move forward with my crown. At AAD the dentist said I needed 3! crowns to replace some old fillings and that did not feel right to me. When I came to LHD they took some X-rays and said that I did not need the crowns but did need to re-do the fillings which I felt sounded correct. I got the crown fixed, 2 fillings (not amalgam fillings thank god too) and a cleaning done here. My dentist was Dr. Horter and she was just so great. She listened to what I thought about my own needs, validated my concerns and made suggestions that felt right. She worked carefully and took her time to get things right and I feel that she really cared to do a thorough and proper job, which I appreciate because I'm the one that has to live with the dental work. Also they never once asked me to leave a review or incentivized me with free items, which showed me that every 5 star review here is genuine. Also I absolutely love the atmosphere of the clinic and all the staff seem genuinely happy to be there. 10/10 highly recommend :)
