Dr. Nussbaum and his team are excellent! I have been a patient for a few years now and several family members go to him now. He actually is no longer in my network for insurance, but I've had terrible experiences at other clinics so now that I have found someone I trust, I'm sticking with him! Trina is the hygienist that I see first, and she is absolutely wonderful. Because of previous bad experiences at the dentist, I was nervous and dreaded the dentist until I started coming here. Trina has gotten me to start flossing regularly, which shouldn't have been a big deal but it was and she has been very kind and patient. I really enjoy coming here. I was referred by a couple coworkers and the team at 360 has never disappointed. I've been coming here about a year, after starting a new job down south. I used to work in dentistry, and completely trust this office. The girls at the front have always been very nice and accommodating. Both hygienists I've seen have been very sweet and fun! Dr Nussbaum is super nice and explains everything thoroughly, without being condescending. Also, don't get me started on his assistant - I want to be friends with her outside of this office! She's great at her job but we die laughing together every time too. The office itself is very welcoming and comfortable. And clean, duh! Dr N took an erupted wisdom tooth out for me and I literally felt nothing, after being numbed up. He's just too smooth!! Great experience every time. Willing to work with your insurance. They're kind, cool and just a good crowd of people that's helped me to be much happier with my teeth, which is a huge deal. I've been going to Dr Nussbaum since I moved to Austin in 2010, and he's now the yardstick against which I'll measure future experiences. To start, he's the only dentist I've ever seen who has a 1:1 session in his private office (not in a dental chair!) with every new patient to get to know them: Their history, their expectations, their concerns, etc. Until you have a real issue, the most important part of a dental visit is the experience with the office, the appointment staff, and most importantly, the hygienists. Dr Nussbaum maintains a lovely office - comfortable without being ostentatious - and makes it super-easy to schedule appointments via phone, email, or text. Appointment confirmations and cancelations are also easy since you'll get an email and/or a text (your preference) a few days beforehand, offering an easy option to cancel or change the appointment without a lot of hassle. I don't know how this practice manages it, but they manage to hire and keep a group of phenomenal hygienists, who make cleanings a piece of cake. Finally, when you DO need a more major dental intervention, Dr Nussbaum is fantastic. He always has the most advanced equipment and stays regularly trained at the top of his game. He and his staff prep you with all kinds of information about what is going to happen, why, and how. He himself is really good at explaining the procedures in a way that make patients feel comfortable. I have been blessed with good teeth, and have never had any dental procedures other than 2 fillings years ago. Last week, I had to have my first crown due to a complication from one of those fillings (not put in by Dr N, by the way). I was in the office at 7:30 and out by 8:50 with a perfectly fitted crown and zero pain. I had planned on taking the entire morning off to recover! Truly amazing to be able to create a permanent crown - on the fly - while I'm in the chair. Can't recommend this practice highly enough! read more

I am notoriously the world's worst patient, and Dr. Nussbaum and his staff are unflaggingly patient, caring, and professional. My kids love going to his office for cleanings, and even the occasional cavity filling has been efficient and unremarkable, with everyone leaving with a smile. If you are at all nervous about having dental work done, I urge you to explore Dr. Nussbaum's sedation dentistry option. Dr Nussbaum is an amazing dentist. He's the kind of guy who really cares about you. The most impressive thing about him is his incredible ability to remember every patient he sees. As busy as he is, it is so nice that he goes out of his way to make me feel special and very warmly welcomed. I could stop at great dentist, but he is a great guy too. You know it because his staff loves him. They have all been there for years, are all very happy and wouldn't work anywhere else. He treats everyone with an incredible amount of respect and it shows in his loyal patient base. The work Dr. Nussbaum has done on my teeth is superb and I would never consider going to anyone else. His equipment is state of the art and he doesn't fool around when it comes to keeping my mouth healthy. My kids and husband go to him too. You know you have a winner when you can get an eight-year-old to be still with her mouth open - no fear when it comes to her trust in him. I knew I loved him when he called himself Mike and shook my hand on my first visit. I always make sure one of my appointments is in December, because he makes yummy goodies for his patients, himself, every year. I send all my friends and my own clients to him. And I always make sure they ask for Kimberly as their hygienist. However, the more kids she has the harder she is to get in with. She is great. I love the whole staff - Mary, Kathy, Robin, Kristen, I know I am leaving people out, but they all get big props from me. As a business owner, I know a competent staff is a huge accomplishment. First off, I do not have dental insurance. The office staff is very considerate of this fact and only have me do the bare minimum without making me feel self conscience. There aren't many people who can say they're excited to go to their dentist, but when you walk in and get hugs all around, it totally makes it worth it. These guys are everything you want in a dentist. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 3 years, and only decided to go because I accidentally chipped a tooth. I had to come back 2 more times because I needed a deep cleaning. I was terrified of the shots that had to get to numb me and Dr. Nussbaum was so sweet and considerate of that. Val was wonderful, too, and she does a great job at the cleanings. They really make you feel like you are the only patient that matters when they're with you. They're patient and genuine about how much they care. Their prices are very reasonable, and they won't ask you to do anything you're not comfortable with. Wow! A root canal, temporary crown and two permanent crowns all in one 3 hour appointment...and I never felt any pain! Fairly new patient and this was actually my first time to have any work done by Dr. Nussbaum (previously just cleanings). Cerec crowns were done while I waited. He spoke of how he had worked in dental labs before dental school and now enjoyed the ability to use the new systems to (paraphrasing here) use his creativity and artistry to take full advantage of the new technology. When all was said and done, it was the lab-made temporary that needed adjustment in my mouth. I'll go back for the permanent crown next month after I get back from vacation. And I'll go back to 360 Dental for my dental care from now on. I'm a fan. read more

I had a filling reworked today by Dr. Nussbaum. He used laser tech, avoiding novocain (not to mention all those grinding noises and vibration). I left feeling like I didn't have anything done at all. I've always felt like he was the best, but he continues to somehow improve services. Aside from his skill and gentle nature, he has always used incredible tech. On 3 different occasions they misquoted us on procedure estimates and it lead to more than a $1000 Dollar's out of pocket and left us in bad financial situation. So far so good! I pretty much took a shot in the dark when picking a dentist... though I read some reviews, I just picked someone in my insurance plan who wasn't also a butcher. (Hint: if there are 30 doctors working out of one place, it's probably a chop-shop.) I've had 3 visits in the past month (yeah, I was overdue), and both the doctor and my hygienist (Tammy) are great... very friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and as gentle as they can be (considering they had to work me over pretty hard). My one complaint is the music... it's that snooze-inducing soft rock. If I need a sedative, let's try laughing gas, OK? Then again, having MGMT on with lyrics like "I'll move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and f*** with the stars" wouldn't exactly be good for a dentist's office. Never mind. read more
