This morning I drove 24 miles after picking up a u-haul trailer to purchase a tree from Masters landscape and supply and after going through the line to pay for my tree and I headed directly to the yard To recover my tree. I was the first one in the yard yet I was ignored by the forklift driver for over an hour. In fact The forklift driver loaded four trucks that weren't even in the lot when I got there I am one of the last people to play the race card because I have a lot of Caucasian friends all over the world. And I know that they would never condone this type of behavior from a business. Finally I got tired of waiting so I pulled my truck and trailer back to the front of the building and I walked back into the store and got in line to wait for a refund. Suddenly one of the managers approached me and asked if I was loaded and I told him no that I was in line to get a refund. He said please come with me and I'll take care of this right away and he got me loaded immediately. In addition he offered an apology. Also I think he sent the forklift driver over to apologize and I accepted the apology. But that doesn't change the way I felt and it certainly doesn't excuse the way they acted based on my color or at least that was my perception. I purchased a tree but I will never visit this location again and what a shame. While I was waiting I saw a lot of stuff that I needed for my yard but I can't in good conscious buy from a business that allows employees to disrespect me, devalue me, my time or that of people who look like me. Perhaps the name of their business [Masters] has really gone to their heads and they are starting to believe their own bullshit. What a damn shame!!!

Tuesday: Dropped in twice…read moreto get a sharpened mower blade I pre-paid for.. it was busy at the pro- counter( only one guy there working with the line) so came back laster.. 2nd time back- got the blade & some chrome polish that rang up 3 bucks more than what was advertised on the shelf. I didnt notice until walking to the car. I waited in line for a $3 credit to my CC. Today, sent my house mate up to get a can of starter fluid to help get the mower running. She came back with a can of Gumout without the straw. She was told didnt need the straw - really ? A hardware associate thinks starter fluid does need the straw ? ROFL. That was the whole reason sending her up there.. if I needed to search out a straw I would have used the half can of starter fluid I already had........ she went back to return and it was a PITA so she just split. Ya'll need to get it together........... Mayfield use to be consistently top notch and now?,,,,,,,,,,, it's hit or miss and lately..........miss. I'm writing this to give constructive feedback not to dog you all......... I want you to succeed because I like the store........until lately.

The 2 day shipping on their webpage turned into 4 days then oops they add 5 more, Now my grass will not have been cut in almost 3 weeks if I get it at all. The people I dealt with at the Covington store were incompetent. It'll probably burn up the new mower cutting too tall of grass when and if I get it. Worst shopping experience of my almost 66 years on this planet!!! I'll never shop there again, NEVER!!! I only talked to one person there that seemed to be knowlegeble, he was about 40, I talked to 5-6 others all younger and BRAIN DEAD!!!

It worked only a few more times but it didn't even work for the entire summer. I bought another battery and it cut 1/2 my yard and died. I did buy the lawn mower in 2018 and it was marked down because it was a return, im sure the customer informed Home Depot that it didnt work properly but instead of writing it off as a damaged product, Home Depot decided to resale it and take advantage of a customer. Not only will Home Depot not mKe good, but they also told me they would charge me an additional $18.00 to send it off for service! Wow!

I hate to have to write a bad review for these folks cause in the past they have been good. But I…read moreordered an arrangement for a fellow deputy's mother's funeral and collected $190, I told them what I wanted and how much I had to spend for it ( I told them $200) when I received the picture of what was sent I was absolutely shocked and embarrassed!! It looked to be $50-$75 arrangement with NO artistic design to it at all. I posted to get others opinions to be sure I wasn't over reacting and they had the same opinion as mine. Hopefully I will find out Monday if it was a mistake and if they will try to make good on their embarrassing example of a floral design. If they do, I will report back. Wish us luck!! I'm going to try and post the picture of the arrangement(not technically savey) Ok you guys!! I'm reporting back about my experience with this business. They insisted on crediting my account and apologized for me not being satisfied. They said they just wanted to get another chance and keep my business. I wish the flower arrangement had been what I wanted, but I have to say they we're absolutely wonderful about the whole thing. I will give them another chance!!!!! This was the first time in 20 yrs I ever had a problem with them. I think a second chance would be fair.
