The strawberries were huge, juicy and super sweet. It was a bit muddy but that's honestly the best time to pick them. As a side note the berries are across the street and with Newton County slowly growing crossing the street can be a bit hectic. Thankfully the kids we were with were between the ages of 6-9 so it was a bit easier to cross the street. But none the less still hectic. We went on a Saturday during peak hours which the kids enjoyed because there were so many new possible friends to be made while playing on the on-site playground. Plenty of photo worthy backgrounds, plenty of ripe berries and 10/10 worth every penny. Everyone that worked on the day we visited were super sweet and attentive. Not to mention patient. They really enjoy the service that they provide to the community. We also stop by later in the year for the pumpkin patch as well. This is a family favorite and generational stop for my family!

All of their other farm features were open during the festival, such as srawberry picking, gem mining, and of course the shop full of goodies. There were also outside vendors set up, farmer's market style, and a musician entertaining us all. We went to the lavender field only to find that you had to pay for the picking back in the shop. No worries as the line was not that long. We got our PVC tubing and clippers (both provided by them), and started to pick. There was a good selection and the field seemed full. After about 30 minutes and a lot of photo ops, we were done and they wrap and tie your lavender for you. It was a great experience! We then went to the shop to get some food, but all they had were drinks and dessert type items, so main course foods. There is an opportunity there for sure!

Upon returning the equipment at the store, a young male, Hispanic employee begin aggressively removing items from our vehicle damaging the inside of the interior. we ask him politely to be more careful, and his exact words were to my wife "if you don't like the way I'm doing it you can do it yourself" we were shocked and appalled by what he said to us, and immediately began to challenge him. After a short back-and-forth with him, we left to go speak with the manager or owner as we were walking towards the counter over the walkie-talkie we hear some words in Spanish, followed by the words in English "the black chick" again we felt extremely insulted as we knew that was about us! So we ask for the manager/owner, and as we were able to see through some glass doors, the same Hispanic male walks up and begin a conversation with an older white male. I asked the lady behind the counter, who that was she says that the owner. He made us wait while he had almost a 5 to 6 minute conversation with the Hispanic male. As I watch them through the glass window, it was clear he was in no hurry to address us. As we grew more frustrated, finally he comes out and did not seem concerned at all. Although he listen to us, it did not appear he was willing to take any action towards his employee. I advised him that this was our first time renting and most likely our last time, and he told me that was fine with him. I also told him that I would write a review and expose this incident and he told me again that was fine with him. I would not advise anyone to rent from this company as they are horrible at customer service not to mention the racial element. I am sure this is not the first time this is happened, but it is the first and last time it will happen to us at this establishment.
