Tuesday: Dropped in twice…read moreto get a sharpened mower blade I pre-paid for.. it was busy at the pro- counter( only one guy there working with the line) so came back laster.. 2nd time back- got the blade & some chrome polish that rang up 3 bucks more than what was advertised on the shelf. I didnt notice until walking to the car. I waited in line for a $3 credit to my CC. Today, sent my house mate up to get a can of starter fluid to help get the mower running. She came back with a can of Gumout without the straw. She was told didnt need the straw - really ? A hardware associate thinks starter fluid does need the straw ? ROFL. That was the whole reason sending her up there.. if I needed to search out a straw I would have used the half can of starter fluid I already had........ she went back to return and it was a PITA so she just split. Ya'll need to get it together........... Mayfield use to be consistently top notch and now?,,,,,,,,,,, it's hit or miss and lately..........miss. I'm writing this to give constructive feedback not to dog you all......... I want you to succeed because I like the store........until lately.

The 2 day shipping on their webpage turned into 4 days then oops they add 5 more, Now my grass will not have been cut in almost 3 weeks if I get it at all. The people I dealt with at the Covington store were incompetent. It'll probably burn up the new mower cutting too tall of grass when and if I get it. Worst shopping experience of my almost 66 years on this planet!!! I'll never shop there again, NEVER!!! I only talked to one person there that seemed to be knowlegeble, he was about 40, I talked to 5-6 others all younger and BRAIN DEAD!!!

It worked only a few more times but it didn't even work for the entire summer. I bought another battery and it cut 1/2 my yard and died. I did buy the lawn mower in 2018 and it was marked down because it was a return, im sure the customer informed Home Depot that it didnt work properly but instead of writing it off as a damaged product, Home Depot decided to resale it and take advantage of a customer. Not only will Home Depot not mKe good, but they also told me they would charge me an additional $18.00 to send it off for service! Wow!

I then called in got the young lady in the evening and when she answered she was nice about it but she INDEED said that she had to pick up her son and was at his school and would be there to deliver at 9pm. I waited by the door and she never arrived! When I reached out again for a refund, I was then asked for my Zelle information which she did in fact refund me. The problem was not the refund - the problem was the fact that the company was unprofessional and the flowers were never delivered to my mother who had knee surgery. As prompt as this owner was to reply - this is how prompt the owner should have been to deliver our flowers! I'm allowed to give a bad review where bad reviews are deserved and the 1 star given was because I was told several different time frames and the business never delivered! Rather this was 6 years ago, or 2 - the issue remains that this company still fails to deliver excellent customer service and products paid for to customers. My mom had surgery and one of our family members found this place randomly without checking on Yelp and it was a complete disaster. We were told the person was coming yesterday and then today and then rescheduled for tomorrow. We waited and around 8:56pm decided to just go ahead and request a refund because the customer service was horrible lol The young lady was sweet but literally answered and said she was picking up her son from school. I can't make it up. Read and believe the comments! Always come to yelp first lol
