I paid over $400 for a balayage and haircut after a consultation where we agreed on a beige balayage and a trim with long layers. Instead, I left with hair that was orange, uneven in tone, and much shorter than expected. I specifically requested a trim and to maintain length with a U-shape. Not only did I lose significantly more length than expected, but when I returned for the correction appointment, my hair had to be recut because it was uneven. $125 for a haircut keep in mind. The color was never what we agreed on. I was left with obvious warm/orange pieces and was told we would need to lighten my hair again to get closer to the beige result that was discussed from the beginning. Even after the second lightening service, the result was still not what I asked for. I now have significant breakage in my bangs and front pieces that did not exist before this service. I had intentionally spent a long time growing my hair out and avoiding additional bleach, and now I'm dealing with damage that will take a long time to grow out. Months, even up to 12months! After I reached out with concerns and provided multiple photos, I received a voicemail indicating she was willing reimburse me. However, when I followed up, no refund was provided. Instead, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. At one point Patricia even suggested that my photos were not true. I ultimately had to seek a color correction elsewhere at additional cost and am now hundreds of dollars deeper into fixing a situation that should never have happened in the first place. The color correction alone was $275. Between the original service, corrective work, and the damage to my hair, this has been one of the most disappointing salon experiences I've ever had. I explained to Brenda that due to all of this, my haircuts are uneven. Most stylists prefer to blow dry my hair straight (versus cutting it in its natural state) to make it easier to cut, but with my curls being different textures, the cut never comes out even. I wear my hair mostly curly, so cutting it straight kind of defeats the purpose. She said no problem and got to work! First she shampooed me because my hair had been in a pony tail. She cut my hair wet and took her time ensuring the cut was even and balanced throughout. Once she was happy with the shape, she rinsed my hair again. During the entire appointment she spoke about her family, and in turn I spoke about mine (which I never do since I'm very private). We laughed and the vibes were just there! At the end of the service, I could SEE my hair was cut correctly. I went home wet, styled it in the way I like it to be styled and this is the result. I went to Costco the same day and people were stopping me in the store to tell me how beautiful my hair is. It's definitely all because of this cut!
