The stylists are friendly. The atmosphere is calming. I loved it there! However, within two weeks, I noticed I was having trouble styling it. NBD I struggle. But it was just one hunk of hair on the left side of my head that I couldn't get it right. It just doesn't blend as nice as the rest of the cut, it's longer and thicker. To be fair, in my 45 years as an adult there has only been one stylist who got my hair right the first time; it always needs to be corrected in that area. My difficulty lies in the fact that over the last 3 days I've made 3 contacts to the salon to correct my hair; an email and 2 voicemails. I have time constraints because we are temporarily down to one vehicle which I did explain in the email and one of the voicemails. I also said I don't need a full service, just please blend this one area. On the day of the cut the Jamila was distracted and hurried - she wasn't who I scheduled with, it was her scheduled day off, and she was late for a video interview. I spent $87.50 of hard-earned money on a cut, style, eyebrow wax, and tips. No one contacted me to see what can be worked out. Totally ghosted. Not professional. read more

Ever since Judd at J Sterlings left ( he has been doing my hair since 1996) I have been lost. For anyone who feels this way go see Mila at Serenity Spa and Salon. Her shears just glide threw your hair ancolor application it above average. The style and enthusiasm within the entire salon is wonderful. IT SO REASONABLY PRICED, I will let you call and make the appointment. When you are there they have complementary chair massage. The Masseur was ver good, technique and you tip the Masseur only. I will be booking a 1 hour massage. It is evident that a lot of TLC was taken, even the Roman Shades on the windows look homemade, that's a Shop with much pride. Mila you have a client for life! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience! I went to Mila once and she is a Rock . There was a review that stated she gave Mila years for chances????? Me thinks someone has issues. Not anymore! Serenity Day Spa is relaxed yet polished, professional yet friendly, and posh yet down-to-earth with all the services one expects from a nicer spa. The ambience with soft lighting and music and tasteful décor is very soothing. I get my hair done by Frances, and she is great! MILA AVOID HER!! She DAMAGED my hair and DISCRIMINATED against me !! First she didn't listen to me and colored all of my hair blonde and didn't highlight it like i asked! No discount was offered!! It took me several months to grow it out! She wanted to charge me full price to change it!! I liked Mila and had gone to her for years so i let it go and gave her another chance. The next time she left stripes in my hair see pic's below if they will load. She didn't even offer me a discount! I have been ill so i let it go and wore my hair with stripes!! Visited the spa today for the first time. I had a full set of lash extension applied at the Hard Rock spa in Tampa and needed some fill ins done. Took a chance on this spa.... and thank goodness I did! The spa is very clean, the ladies are nice and attentive . Mila did such an excellent job! I fell asleep while she did the work on my lashes . I went to get a cut and color at Serenity in Apopka. I asked for a medium copper brown, even brought in a picture and I got almost a black color from their "Color Specialist", Frances. My hair was bleached blonde when I went in. I spent over $100 there. I called the manager, Janice to get my money back and she was really rude and only offered half my money back in a gift card then hung up on me. This is a WARNING for anyone who is planning on going there. I don't recommend it! read more
