So I gave them a tour, neither of them informed me that they were FILMING my house. The lady did the filming was holding the phone up but she had her phone cover closed. After they finished the casing my house, I found out that they were actually filming instead of talking on the phone with Patricia. Then Patricia changed the services price from $335 to $950 dollar, which is approximately THREE TIMES more from her original quote. I was fine with that, but I told her "for this price, they have need to do a good job. Otherwise, I will need to leave a bad review." She heard that and then quickly declined the job, claiming that I am threatening them. When I told her that her people is filming my house without my consent, she didn't apologize for her employee's rude and illegal conduct either. Long review: Moving is stressful. Our latest move was a full-on disaster due to an incompetent moving service. In contrast to that, Patricia's Cleaning Service was an incredible help during a very stressful time. We contracted them to do a Move Out cleaning and the TL;DR result was that we received our entire security deposit back from our landlord due in no small part to PCS. When Patricia and I discussed the services we would need, she was very clear in itemizing all of the different tasks that her crew would undertake (other cleaning services just quoted a price). When I communicated how challenging the move had been because of the moronic movers, Patricia was empathetic and understanding, flexible with the services offered, and perhaps most importantly, offered a much-appreciated kind word to a very stressed-out person at a very stressful time. Patricia quoted $245 and I agreed. The house is a 2 bedroom/2 bath house in Lafayette. When the two cleaners arrived they said they had to call Patricia to give a final price. I told them that actually one of the bedrooms doesn't need cleaning. The house was pretty messy because we have a puppy who ripped up a bunch of paper and dug out an indoor plant, but that's just sweeping up. There were dirty dishes in the sink. There was nothing else unusual about the cleaning. After speaking with her crew, Patricia told me that the cleaning would be $750! I told her I wasn't willing to pay that much because I felt that was a rip off. Her staff did a great job during the deep clean even cleaning out our refrigerator and the top of the range hood. I have no clue how they managed to reach it! The house was looking spotless at the end of the service. Patricia also set us up for routine cleaning, and she didn't increase the price relative to her initial quote and also didn't try to push a higher frequency of visits on us. I expected a detailed and deep cleaning since I was charged for it but the oven, refrigerator, and bathtub weren't cleaned as well as my past experiences with other companies.
