Discussed a screened in porch with the Owner and I knew exactly what I wanted. He listened and understood. I wanted one peak of the roof to be extended straight out to form the roof. I decided to make it a three-season roof so it has windows on all three sides, all with screens. And it looks great and functions extremely well. In pre-spring when the sun is out the room heats up and is very comfortable. Looking forward to our 1st summer with this room. Construction quality is very good and when we did the final walk-thru, the manager agreed to make a couple of minor tweaks, such as adjust window locks so they would open more easily. Don't deal with this company or don't give them money until you receive and are satisfied with product. Ordered sliding screen for front porch in May, gave them 50% deposit and told product would arrive in 4-6 weeks. Didn't arrive until the end of July. When installers attempted to install, could not do so because it was wrong size despite being measured by them two different times. Have called the company numerous times trying to find out their plans to reorder and install new screen but my phone calls are not returned. The entire experience has been less than professional. When I inquired about the delay in the order was told they had personnel problems and the person responsible for ordering/scheduling was no longer there. Understand problems of running a business and also understand when mistakes are made; but stonewalling and returning phone calls is not only unprofessional but extremely arrogant and insulting. read more

I had my room done years ago, true it was about 18 years ago but it didn't hold up. The paint is almost completely peeled off the metal, looks terrible. They were going to give me a "special discount" on redoing the entire room to the tune of 26,000 dollars !!! Supposedly discounted from 31000 dollars. ( maybe a 10x15 room) Don't need to say much more other than don't plan on it lasting and plan on getting poor quality read more

We had our screened porch enclosed by Patio Systems in March 2021. Materials were ordered in August 2020, but we understood the delay because of the pandemic. In August 2020, I requested sun shades be ordered at the same time. The salesman discouraged me from ordering them because he said the tinted windows would be enough and we could get shades cheaper elsewhere. The porch was so hot when the sun was shining in, you couldn't sit out there, even with a ceiling fan. We went to the showroom twice and called three times between May - August 2021, before salesman came back to our home to measure for shades. We put a 50% deposit ($500) down in August and ordered the shades. The salesman at the time, said he couldn't give a delivery date because everything was still delayed. So I called once in September, once in October and several times in November. Each time, someone from the production team told me - sorry, no idea when your shades will arrive. In November I was actually told they were looking for them. I waited until after the holidays and called again this morning. Jeff, the rep who called me back, was very nice but informed me my shades WERE NEVER ORDERED! He wanted to come back out to remeasure again and reorder. Now apparently it only takes 6-8 weeks for shades to arrive. I told him I would like a refund of my deposit unless they could offer a discount for the inconvenience of their huge oversight. Not to mention the fact that their employees lied to me no less than 5 times because they never bothered to even look at my order. Jeff called back within an hour and said no discount and they would be sending me a check. I guess no business and a bad review is better than giving a former $9000 customer a lousy 10% discount on $1000 shades. read more

Horrible experience! Ron the general Manager was scheduled to come to my house and was 30 minutes late. After measuring windows and not bringing any sample windows or an up to date brochure (2017), asked for a check because he was told as he was driving here, that I was the decision maker - and why would I need to consult with my husband if I was the decision maker. I asked for an estimate or proposal to be sent and he said I gave you a price. I guess he did not need my business because I never received an estimate or proposal. To all the women out there that want to get any home improvements done, steer clear of this company. read more

Signed contract with Patio Systems a year ago with a 50% deposit and enclosure still hasn't been scheduled! Numerous discussions with owner, one excuse after another. This is a poorly managed business and the owner cannot be trusted. One example, the owner altered the design of the enclosure and when we questioned why the change he told us we approved it, a statement he had to walk back from after we did finally meet. read more

We are very excited to have our 3 season room and deck for this summer. It took a little longer than expected but once the porch was available from the manufacturer everything went quick. After review there were a couple very minor things that were fixed very quickly. read more

Since my initial review of Patio Systems back in February, I have had some conversations with Ron. Through those conversations I felt Ron understood my frustration and all this could have been negated with better communications. I can tell you we love the product and the way it looks, definitely improves the look of the house and keeps the porch a little cooler with keeping the sun of the porch. We have received many positive comments and compliments from neighbors and stranger alike. Ron, General Manager came to my house, walked in and wanted to know when my husband would be joining the conversation. He wanted to talk with the 'decision-maker'. I told Ron that I could make the decision and he still wanted the 'decision-maker' (my husband) present. Again, I told him I could make the decision. After going through the products/options which, for me, there were 2 great options but both had pros and cons, Ron pressured me to make the decision. I told him I wanted to run both options by my husband and I would call him back by the end of the day with a decision. Ron immediately verbally attacked me and said, see you aren't the decision-maker, and now you will filter the info to your husband and I won't get a sale or have to come back and go through all of this again. I was not going to be insulted twice in one meeting. I would NEVER buy from this guy. read more

Patio Systems initially installed an awning for us and went on to install a four season room and screened in porch. In all aspects, they did a beautiful job. The only small complaint, if you can call it that, is that it takes them quite a while to get the job done but, after the installation, I decided they were well worth the wait. The reason for the wait is the many customers who use their services. Our 4 season room and screened in porch is much admired by all of our neighbors. My next door neighbor liked ours enough to hire Patio Systems to redo his screened in deck. Patio Systems kindly sent us a gift card for the referral which we did not expect. They do an excellent job and we would highly recommend them for your patio needs. read more

I have seen a good number of screened-in porches. All looked relatively the same in quality and construction. Not overly impressed. At the top of my list of gripes was the fact that the contractors filled the void between the house's siding and the screen frame with foam rubber. Bugs still get in and the foam will, over time, decompose. I also wanted to remove visual obstructions posed by non-supporting columns and railings. I asked 3 companies for bids. All sent representatives out to the site. All said they could do what was asked. In PATIO SYSTEMS case, they brought along product samples, and their PRO to evaluate roof and support construction. I subsequently visited their Lewes showroom. I learned that not all screened porch products are created equal. Their products are made with thicker gauge aluminum. The frames and door are more substantial than anything I saw before. Plus, I learned that they routinely cut the house siding and recess the aluminum frame. No chance of bugs. The other 2 contractors never followed up, despite my repeated phone calls. I suspect they were looking for a quick "in-and-out" job. Patio Systems was not the cheapest, but I always believed you get what you pay for. I'm a perfectionist. There is only one way to do something. Anything less is unacceptable. It's a curse.
